what? it's sounds like if an Abarth had a CVT, I would go nuts if in 120kph this 5000rpm simulated sound would not stop. I understand that Abarth basically started with the brand all due to their exhaust systems, but this time they could have done better, actually quite unexpected Hyundai had done quite good with the new Ioniq N which they basically simulated an engine, with gears and stuff. @@carstanpovdriving
The car looks really nice, but the sound generator it's quite annoying. Thank god it can be turned off. I wouldn't handle a journey with a speed higher than 70 kph :(
I drive the Fiat 500e which has a 0-100 time of around 8.1 seconds, according to several UA-cam channels, and feels pretty lively to me. Not sure if the Abarth is worth the extra cost, although you will be better judge of this than me.
Wow for how short and tall the car is there isn't much play in the steering and minimal shaking. I am Bias though I have a 2017 FIAT 500X SUV most reliable and quietest car I've ever owned. Previous to that I daily drove for 5 years a 1994 Alfa Romeo 164 LS automatic with the 3.0L V6 which Jeremey Clarkson said "is the best engine ever made" crazy to think that the new PHEV Prius gets 0-60 in 6.6 where as the 164 was 6.9. A Prius is faster than the best engine alfa ever made lol.
Una de las virtudes del eléctrico es el silencio durante su funcionamiento. Poner sonido de un vehículo de combustión me parece innecesario. Si uno quiere ruido, humo y vibraciones su coche es uno de combustión.
Pretty crap really, 8.33s to 100km/h is poor. I bet if you spend your time travelling at 120km/h or faster you’ll be stopped for whites charging your battery! Electric cars…one of the great cons of our time!
FYI: it was 8.1s in Turismo mode and 7.5s in both Scorpion Street and Scorpion Track mode. 0-60 km/h and 0-100 km/h times are visible on the infotainment screen. But yeah, the old one was faster. ;)
@@carstanpovdriving Sorry, my apologies, I only watched as far as the original 0-100km/h. I expected it to do around 4 or 5 seconds, but that performance is a joke. I’m guessing because of the size of the battery they’ve had to compromise on performance otherwise it’d need charging every hour…just proves that evs are a con.
I did a quick stopwatch check and got 8.22 on that first run. Second run wasn't much faster. I gotta admit, that was disappointing. Granted, electric acceleration can feel faster that it is, but still, for a hot hatch that's a little lukewarm.
@@apexerman1 Back when I first starred driving, 8.5 secs to 100km/h (60mph) was fast. Most hot hatches were lucky to break 10 secs. A Ferrari, albeit, the Mondial (4 seater) did it in 7.9secs. A “supercar” was doing 5.5 to 6 secs. What’s more disappointing is Fiat’s 500 Abarth EV is actually slower than its outgoing 1.4 litre Abarth…..and just think all the damage the EV is doing to the environment which they don’t like you to know either!
Walkaround with all the interior and exterior details of this Abarth 500e is now live on my other channel: @carstanvisuals
We got the Normal 500e with 118hp, i am in love with this car its pretty fast and Perfect for City driving.
I know I'm one of the few people... But i actually like the sound
Judging by the likes, you’re not the only one. I was sceptical at first, but ended up liking it as well.

I think it's pretty annoying, nice to have, but the electric engine has its own unique sound which I like more
What sound? 😉😊
Amazing quality! 👏

A completely silent Abarth seems worse though
The Cooper SE seems a lot faster from the start on Sport Mode… What’s the power/weight ratio comparison between these two?
I like the car from the first look.
But I think artificial "engine noise" is such a stupid idea in general...
We need these in the states 🫡
You'll get it in a few years just like the Fiat
Got the Normal 500e its a realy nice Car and Perfect for City Driving

Internal combustion engines make an annoying noise. Finally we got rid of it. Why would anyone want to make that racket?
Abarth color nice

Hi, have you done anything active to achieve your subs or did they come naturally?
Naturally. You shouldn’t care about subs btw, it’s all about views
True, I was just curious 👀
holy snore fest of a car. The old one had way more character.
At least the old one is still on the market
$45,000 is a lot of money for teeny tiny car.
It is insane and hiper stupid for this horrible car
If people buy it, then it's actually genius from their part...
@@carstanpovdrivingno vuol dire che la gente è stupida 😅 e non capisce nulla di auto 😊

This car is really mistreat in Italy but judging by the videos and magazine articles it seems not bad the real problem is the autonomy very poor....

Elektrisch rijden is toch niet hetze...😮
