This car looks awesome, real physical buttons, apple carplay, decent pep, quick enough charging, the fake sounds are a little funny but it's an option so I can't fault it. This car is so different and cool compared to the norm, lots of character in a fun small package.
My idea as to what car manufacturers could do is employ game developers like Turn 10 (the guys that make Forza) and somehow use their in-game audio files in that companies EVs. Imagine driving a Tesla with a blaring V8 coming from the speakers 😂

The engine sound is a smart idea, unlike what some people say, its dangerous to run silent, pedestrians/bikers won't notice you. The biggest negative with this is no shifting sound. Usually you get 1st 1 - 10kmh, 2nd 20 - 30 kmh, 3rd 30 - 40 kmh, 4th 40 - 50 kmh and finally 5th 50 - 100+ kmh. They should program sounds from video games or something.
Crazy how similar it sounds to the petrol version. Not sure if I actually want a loud speaker on my cars, though. Reminds me of a certain South Park episode. But If I couldn't have my 595 anymore, yeah I'd probably get one of these.
I agree, I have just driven the electrical Mercedes G580, that sounds great outside as well as inside! 👌 Ok, it is a fake synthesised sound, but a bit more balanced than in the Abarth :).

I love this car. I still don't understand the car industry's obsession with electric buttons for doors - They have to put a manual latch in anyways, so why not just have one??
There's a lot of uproar against ev cars with artificial engine sounds. Although they could have done it a bit better, it's very cool in my opinion. It's certainly a hommage to the past and ice cars, and hope in the future we can chose in-between having a ice car sound or others too
I just couldn’t bring myself to buy this car. For the same money there are such better EV’s out there that beat this in every metric, besides looks, I do love the look. Although the Cupra is a pretty car too. Ultimately I couldn’t go past the bang for buck that is the MG4 Xpower

Take a look at the front overhang and what I mentioned above (engine bay/charging port), also it is front wheel drive, they did not have the space in the back. Also, floor is not level, there is a tunnel in the center. Fiat is known for adapting their platform. There are scenes from the Documentary Fiat released a couple of years ago and all of the above was visible in the video.

This car has range like some electric bikes when u take extra batery with you. Its not that fast for an electric car but I still love it. And I harte lectric cars since they are all boring. But this somehow isnt. Ofc I would have change engine fake sound for some intergalactic spaceship sound :D

I've always loved Porsche and would love to do Porsche drives. I wrote to my local Porsche contact (again), but they find my content is not premium enough for them to be lending me their cars. I love it and I hate it. On the one hand it's must a fun little EV. With very clean features and awesome driving modes. On the other hand it just doesn't feel like an Abarth to me. They are known for being little cars with a lot of power, that make a ton of noise. Not little EV's. Idk. I probably wouldn't ever buy one but I can appreciate it. I'm happy with my 595 Competizione
Years ago it started with the fast diesel engines of Audi and BMW, which had those stupid sound boosters. But on an electric car is even more ridiculous.

This car was not meant to be electric, it was done as a rushed project, that this way the engine bay sits differently and the charging port is so deep

Yeah, synthesized sounds in an EV can be really cool like in the Kia EV6 or Mercedes EQE. But trying to make it sound like an ICE is just cringe.
