If you're looking for an awesome mount & sight combo, check out meadow creek mounts. They're a rib mount & they are partnered with several different optic companies such as Vortex, Burris, Swampfox etc. I just switched to one this year because my Remington 870 was patterning low, still killed plenty of bird's by just aiming high but would lose my fov. So I made the switch & it's much much better now. I highly recommend meadow creek, plus they are fare priced. Have an awesome & safe season, God Bless fella's!

Another thing to consider, you were shooting at a downward angle. I always like to pattern my guns while sitting down just like I would be hunting.

Never really thought about that, that’s a good point.

3:55 that 655 is way too tight for that #5. Try the #6 LBXR if you’re going lead. Splurge on a box of Apex #9s and thank me later.

Also, throw a piece of cardboard or something behind that target and you’ll know a lot more about the pattern

Appreciate the feedback and acknowledge! That tss is great no doubt but it’s so pricey!

Pricey, but game changing. Grab a few of the guys and each throw in on a couple boxes. I promise it will be worth it. Don’t worry about those 3.5” shells either. The 3” #9s are more than enough!
