Thank you Neil, it’s definitely something we’ll look to for next season. As a trial run I’m absolutely delighted with the response from you and our viewers. The show isn’t really about me but it’s nice to know that you want to hear my thoughts from time to time 😊
Didn’t get to watch live but caught up now and buzzing for Assen next Sept. Fond memories of MotoGP there and parties in Groningen. Shame the ferries are so expensive now. Might check the flights from Humberside or take the tunnel but got to go.
On catch up just back from the jollies in the sun 😉Donnington is a great circuit why is the British round of Moto GP not moved there since Silverstone owners I don't think are that into the bikes from the vibe I get .Kyle Camble and Dave so good great chat great fun it don't get better than that so much knowledge and good info too , didn't catch it live this time but a great watch keep up the great work guys .👌👍Cheers !!
Hi Dave, Another great show, please try and encourage more people to leave comments even if they are simple thanks messages as it really does help with the UA-cam algorithm.
One of the reasons I think that riders can’t make the transition from superstock to BSB is because in Superstock they rely too heavily on the bikes electronics
@@cliffordbell646 It’s certainly made the transition more difficult, I maintain that Supersport is still the favoured route but STK seems cheaper maybe. We’re yet to see an ex-STK1000 rider become a serial race winner in BSB let alone BSB champion.
@@Compendium_of_tom Probably some truth in this. WorldSBK electronics are the most sophisticated of all, including MotoGP (which is capped), so to have some experience of tc/aw/lc would be beneficial
BSB is the best motorcycle race series in the world in my opinion. I feel like everyone is behind Kyle. Living in Bath the Bridewell's are my favourite. Tommy is the best rider by far in my opinion. He wasn't even in the running at the start of the season. He has the big H behind him and he's cool headed. I think the rider who can handle the pressure the best will win. COME ON TOMMY!!!!!
Andrew is playing for both teams, in the last Donington race he clearly had more pace than Tommy and he just stayed behind Tommy. His Heart is Glenn, but head is Tommy. As you say Glenn is a long way behind and realistically he needs to win all three. So I think the only way for Andrew to help Glenn would be to get to P2 and become a rolling road block.
Honda made a mistake keeping Andy this year. He's not a good enough rider for the bike he's been given. He's mid field, and only tries when the contracts are due, like a few other riders. Lee Jackson deserves the Honda seat, he's hardly out of the top 10 and doesn't end up in the kitty litter very often. Unfortunately, he's not one for blowing his own trumpet.
To me at the minute there is too much dead wood in the BSB Championship it needs a complete overhaul to bring the young hungry and really talented young riders through never worry or even ask how much money they can bring to the team the teams sponsors should be paying the young hungry talented riders to join their team
Experience counts more in BSB. The youth are coming through Skinner, Cook, Nesbitt, Stacey, all 22-23 years old and learning their trade. Add to that Joe Talbot and hopefully Scott Swann and you’ve got the future of BSB right there. Who do you class as ‘deadwood’? Bearing in mind some of the manufacturers aren’t helping with the SC0 rear (fact, not excuses), I’m interested in your view 🙂
I think if you put Storm on a better funded team, I don't mean any disrespect to the GR Motosport, but this sport is all about the Have and Have Nots. Hopefully he'll take a step up the ladder and become a consistent top 6 rider, then top 3. The wet weather shows that he has fantastic bike control so it is more a case of getting the best out of him and the bike in the dry.
After five seasons in the championship whoever he moves to they’ll be expecting him to be regular top 10 because he’s served his apprenticeship now and we’d all love to see Storm fulfilling his potential.
Resigned or re-signed? 😁 don’t know the state of play there at the moment but if he does depart Honda (which I don’t think he will) then there aren’t too many places left to go 🤷🏼♂️
At that stage of the season was Glenn a real championship contender the way that he had been going the last 3 or 4 rounds l don’t really think he was or is
We all know journalists and others who make a living from sport pick up information, which they cannot pass onto the public, because their sources would dry up. I stopped watching the live discussion because it was a never end tale of "we know stuff you don't". Back when Squeaky and Pompous used to commentate for Eurosport, I grew tired of hearing them spouting the same nonsense, week after week. "There are changes coming, but we can't tell you" jeez. If you're not going to tell us what you know, even from earwigging in toilets, please do not bother until you have the go ahead to discuss rider moves, bike changes, etc, etc, because you are wasting my time.
Thanks for your feedback, Jon. At no point have we portrayed the ‘we know things you don’t’ in a smug way. We try and reason out who could go where and sometimes the answer is in the reasoning. The appetite our listeners and viewers have for BSB silly season rumours is huge. I’m fully aware of what I can and can’t say and as this is conversation, ‘pub chat’ if you will, then will season rumours are part of that chat. Unless there’s an official release stating a move then the rest is purely conjecture. 80% of the definitive of what I know is kept to myself but the other 20% is open season. The biggest engagement on BSB Forums are rumour mill posts, people can’t get enough. I’d like to think we’re reasonably well informed compared to some of those posts… Appreciate your feedback and watching as far as you did.
Love these shows Dave, the preview and review are brilliant……more of the same please!

Hi Dave, Another great show, please try and encourage more people to leave comments even if they are simple thanks messages as it really does help with the UA-cam algorithm.
Thanks so much, Chris, we’ll do that for certain in the next show after Brands and in the shows we record there 🙏🏼
The Courtyard in Hereford would be a good place for an evening, and close to MLav , Luke Hedger and Luke Jones
One of the reasons I think that riders can’t make the transition from superstock to BSB is because in Superstock they rely too heavily on the bikes electronics
They'd probably step on a WSBK easier with the whole electronics transition
@@cliffordbell646 It’s certainly made the transition more difficult, I maintain that Supersport is still the favoured route but STK seems cheaper maybe. We’re yet to see an ex-STK1000 rider become a serial race winner in BSB let alone BSB champion.

Scott Swann is one of the most marketable riders in BSB a merchandiser’s dream tall blonde surfer dude with a surname SWANN

I’m not sure Andrew has P2 pace with the Honda at the moment, but Ryan certainly does and HE could be the blocker for Kyle 😁
@@OffTrack_Podcast I think Factory Honda should run a third bike for Luke Mossey the play rear gunner

Where is Rokit Grilla or Rich available to buy
Rich is gone I believe but the other two are available online

No one should need help to win a championship just go out and win it yourself for yourself

Has Andy Irwin resigned for Honda next season? Interesting as to whether he helped Glenn because he's possibly on the move next season 🤷🏻♂️

Yes Danny Kent is a class act but he keeps making silly mistakes sooner or later he has to cut the mistakes out and start winning races
Dave l think that too many riders going into the Superbike paddock over complicate the whole thing. Keep it simple it ain’t rocket science
I stopped watching f1 when barrichello let Schumacher pass in Japan , not quite glen and Andy or was it , I hope not !
Dave when they were handing out noses you thought they said Roses and you asked for a big Red one 😂😂😂😂
Erm, thanks… 😂🤷🏼♂️
