Try the gazzew boba LTs and lube them and they will become (in my opinion) the thockiest and kind of marbly switch it becomes as or more thocky than the middle night switches with a little bit of marblyness which is a perfect balance when i used it on my leobog (pe foam modded and tape modded with 3 layers of electrical tape) i dont use painters tape because electrical tape is the best tape for marbly builds is what i was aiming for but it ended up both marbly and thocky
Really is deep. On par with Vertex V1 or sometimes the other is deeper depending on the keyboard. I just wonder which is smoother out of the two? The Midnight's specs are great though. 2-stage springs and w/ a diffuser (although I don't really need it but nice to have)
I felt both were super smooth out of the box but I'mma have to give the HAIMU middle night as the smoother ones! I think the two stage spring was the factor in the HAIMUs that made me feel it was smoother and had a better snap!
@@keebboardwarrior i am actually planning to spring swap my vertex v1 to 2-stage springs. I guess it would be the same feel. Too bad I dont have the Midnights to compare
@@kenv2667 Yo, that'd be a great idea, let me give it a try and update you when I've got time for it! But don't worry, they're both super similar in the smoothness
Vertex v1s support rgb they just get dimmer when you use them also try the Gazzew boba u4ts (tactile) or the gazzew boba LTS (linear) When they are both lubed they are thockier than the rest of these (i own the v1s and morandis and its a day and night difference) i only own the LTs but the u4ts are considered one of the thockiest switches the only downside is that its not prelubed so if you want the best sound you need to lube them i use the LTs on my leobog hi75 (pe foam and tape mod with electrical tape for a marbly sound signature) and its defo my thockiest and marbliest build yet
@@EXVGR thanks I actually have the u4t and even the lt. But couldn't be bothered lubing them. Perhaps I will try that soon. Glorious panda are a tactile switch which comes out really marbly as well. I have oil kings and tangerines on order because I am still exploring.
any ticking noise when tapping or pressing the key on any of the edges of the keys? got a set of factory lubed vertex v1s recently and my god the ticking when pressing keys on the left or bottom side is annoyingly noticeable. got them to stop after hand lubing leaf and spings but their slowly coming back. might pick these up as a replacement if its thockier than the vertex v1s and have no ticking.
@keebboardwarrior Have you heard about the Galaxy80? There is a newer version coming I think called the Galaxy70 I think you should look into it! It's a budget aluminium keyboard (I don't know if they will release a barebones for the Galaxy70) It's $99 prebuilt!
@@keebboardwarrior thanks. I was planning to get some of these but since I know haimu also was involved with morandis and morandis wobble like jelly its so bad I regret getting them.
Ay bro the thoght put into your video is really nice man keep up the good work
That switch is prolly the closest budget version of ws morandi lmfao, as both are manufactured by haimu

yeah these and WS Morandi are the deepest. V1 too but I prefer the option for RGB.

@@jiwany Best of luck on finding a switch that suits you
Are these switches fairly smooth? I know they are factory lubed but idk how well the lube job is done
Yeah they're smooth! Not to worry, not much scratchiness, and great out of the box! Think the two stage spring helps a bit

Hey! I know this switch might be old but could you check out the ktt peaches in any video? Any would be great!
If I come across them and make a vid, I'll let you know :)

Also, where can we get these?
I got it from shopee, but they have sold out. Seems like you can get it from Aliexpress
@@keebboardwarrior Thanks!
@@keebboardwarrior I think also sold out on ali
how is the stem wobble?
Apologies, didn't include it in the video, but it's pretty good/comparable to the vertex V1s given its price!

where do you get this switch?
I got it from shopee here. Previously it was low on stock, but looks like they just got restocked!

which has better tolerances the midnight or v1?
Hi, by better tolerance, are you referring to the +- distance for the actuation and bottom out force?
@@keebboardwarrior No, am talking about the housing who is tighter and less wobble
Which do you prefer the Midnight or the V1?
The V1s if I hand lube them. But the price will then be practically 3x the Midnight, so it is expected to be better
Stock board ?
Yup! Stockk
I need it
hey i have a question i will be turning 15 on august the 18th and i want a keyboard with this sound pls
