Does this procedure change the water resistance of the watch?
In my opinion, no. But it does void any warranty, and I did not pressure test, so there is no way to truly confirm.
I have a doubt. this seiko have an internal crown gasket?

6:51: why did you put the seconds hand at the 5oclock position, does that position matter when reconnecting the seconds hand?
Second hand position doesn't matter
what about moving Seiko logo from old to new?
It might be easiest buying a new seiko logo off of aliexpress and adhering it to new dial.
What’s the name of the tool to pull of the minute hand hour hand and seconds hand?
What is it called?
Not a specific name, but you can find it by searching 'watch hand remover'

Well done! looks genuine ... misaligned second markers on dial with rehaut just like they come out of the factory... btw, you should really oil the seal ring before putting the caseback on ;)

Why when you lose the date function?
That's the beauty thing about modding. You can do whatever you like.
Must change all on seikos.Dial, bezel insert for ceramic and hardlex glass for sapphire.
No need to align the hands at 12 when u got a no date dial😅 regardless, Nice video!
But imagine feeling that date wheel click over at some random time during the day…
