@@customseikowatches1911 So awesome!!! Isn't the world a tiny little place? Ha,ha!!! I always keep my Seiko's in honour. I don't know what it is but I just love my Seiko's that I have. They give me so much confidence, when I wear them. Maybe it's because, we as watch enthusiasts feel the heritage and legacy and can appreciate that much more then an average person🤷🏻♂️
My two favourite parts are when you stick a screwdriver into the movement to get it out of the case and when you jam a steel case back opener under the bezel to prise it off with no protection for the case.
I like that you can get something different by doing this. Not pretending to be a Rolex. Clearly still showing the movement and where it's come from but just making it look like a Rolex. I think this is a really cool idea. I know nothing about watches so wouldn't have a clue about your processes but I really like the Kermit and the Pepsi. Two of my favourite Rolex's, I might have to reach out to you. :)

As a total watch noob, I wish you would not have cut some of the video so I can see exactly what you're doing. For example when removing the dial face, I don't know what you did, where there any latches or hinges you had to unbuckle? Or do you just use a tool to pry it out? That 1 second of video footage could have explained so many important things IMO. Still, thanks very much for the time and patience taken in making this video, it still helped me understand a lot of the basics. Have a great day :)
This usually doesn't happen. This was my first time building on camera so in trying to ensure camera sees my steps, I neglected the blue dial. Anyways it was not being used in this watch so it's OK, I threw it away :)
@@customseikowatches1911 Bad practice is bad practice, it was ugly to see. Your further excuse is the perfect depiction of what's wrong with humans and the consequential effect on the planet.
nkuwan You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
Its usually best to snap the bezel on the case first before you put the bezel insert on especially when its a sloped one. Using the crystal press to press the bezel down while the insert is on can easily cause it to crack or worse crush your insert if you slipped. Then you'd have to go and purchase another one. Just a tip if you decide to do another build. Oh and also its easier to align with the chapter ring/indices as putting the insert on the bezel first is a lot of guess work~
Amazing mod congratulations 👏 Where did you buy this wonderful watch strap ?? I've bought 3 at 3 different places and I didn't find at least one good 😭😭. Any advice please 🙏🙏??
He turned a Seiko into a Seiko.
That’s my sentiments exactly.
with some Seiko mods...
I was thinking that, Mercedes hands and a green ceramic insert do not make a Rolex lol
It's not my thing either but he never said it was anything other than a Seiko...

Aaargh.. Autsj.. There is a dial stuck under that crystal press when pressing the crystal. A bit roughly build, but a nice watch. Enjoy it.
It would be nice at the end of video inform everyone the total cost of the mod. I believe most audiences would be curious to know.
1 dollar.
At least 3
@@vladonebotos Thanks for posting the link. I've just checked out some of the modded pieces and, I have to say, the prices are quite modest.

This is filmed so well, not a lot of cuts, tons of explaining. Thanks!!

We learn by teaching, or sarcasm...lol
The glass trick though
You mean when he gently lifts the movement with a tool that works great for the job and when he doesn't damage the watch and removes the bezel?
