That Mario Bros. commercial is amazing. Also, that CB & Stereo one actually made me laugh, especially the graphics that were intended to look like the Volkswagen had a face.
Def Leppard would be one of my first experience in Hard Rock ever after 1st seeing them in the Me and My Wine video. But after watching the video Foolin and being mesmerized by the visuals (at that time), I would then beg my Mom to take back my New Edition tape she recently bought me in exchange for Pyromania. Don't get me wrong I love N.E, but I love Def Leppard more and the exchange was well worth it ;)
@DecKrash Prior to Super Mario Bros for NES, Mario wore blue/red and Luigi wore green/red. Other than the white hat, the commercial is accurate to this color scheme.
The Dodge GLH commercial (i'm certain) was originally the Talbot Sunbeam in the UK, looks exactly the same. Cool ads though, Batcherlor Party was an ace film! Very anarchic and great humour throughout.
great local commercials in this volume those video 45's were an interesting idea. was that price just for 1 song & video? i'm sure it was quite cutting-edge @ the time was "Bachelor Party" a successful movie? i don't hear it referred to in Tom Hanks's repetroire much
God i miss the 80s!

These commercials aired the same weekend that The Karate Kid opened in theaters! :)
I love how it shows a chevy commercial and then the next commercial shows a chevy overheating.

Billy Squier doing a mean air guitar in the Doritos ad...LOL j/k
When he says "Mario, Where are you" it reminds me of the theme song to "Car 54 Where Are You"

That was Ian Ziering from 90210 as the curly blonde in the Scope commercial.

I want a t-shirt that say "I'm Not Crazy Al."
Atari Mary-O Bros.
I don't why but I've always loved it whenever somebody pronounced Mario liked that.

Mario Bros Atari... F'n Win
If it's the Mario brothers. that would make Luigi - Luigi Mario and Mario is Mario Mario. ;-)
Damn, that chick is really spraying that Impulse on. The can's going to run out before she's done.
@troodon311 I have, but my brain in it's mercy decided to bleach that part of my memory.
2:19 -- [you can't hum along with] "The terrorists bomb the hospital."
Um... not that I didn't fangasm with the Mario Bros. commercial, but why is Luigi wearing red?
@Gavin2002 I THOUGHT that guy looked familiar!
Was that Ian Ziering in the Scope commercial?
Yes and Lynn O'Brien!
Isn't Impulse great? It makes men stalk you like creeps!
ScratStitch these commercials would not fly today!
