Shows like "That's Incredible" and "Real People" had an interesting variety of topics, and I enjoyed watching them as a kid...I sure remember the stories in this preview!
@6:20 I do remember double protection AquaFresh before it went to triple protection @7:20 the voice over announcer Peter Thomas is still going strong today at 88. I just heard his voiceover in a Charter Communications radio commercial.
@TEEFUS87 Charles "Speedy" Atkins drowned in 1928. When brought to the funeral home for a pauper's burial, the mortician used a powerful preservative that turned the body into a mummified, wooden-like statue that retained most outward appearances. Instead of burying him, he put Atkins' body on display at the funeral home. The widow of the mortician finally buried Atkins in 1994...nearly 70 years after he died.
1 ZOUZANDZIX DOLLARS LESS! MIREAGE RATING! IT'S 1980! Break out the pixels!!! Gangbusters on "city grime"! The WLS Chicago 3:00 Movie was the equivalent of WABC New York's The 4:30 Movie which ran until 1981. I guess we were ready for the battlefields..... OF THE FUTURE! That 12-month program the Army had would definitely not fly today. ANOTHER toothpaste argument ad! If you don't use AIM or AQUAFRESH expect to star in one of these! Chevy Chevette -- 5, 5, 5 ADS IN ONE!

A lot of wine commercials in the 80s. You hardly ever see wine commercials now.
