- In the search for his armor Boba Fett looking a bit too deep into the Sarlac Pit and gets trapped.
Fennec uses Slaves I´s fearsome seismic charge against the sarlac pit. A stunning display of Boba´s insane weaponry.

This sound effect never gets old... RIP Sarlacc
F*** the Sarlacc

Rest in pieces indeed
I love that they killed the Sarlac all these years later with one of the most badass things in all starwars
Bruh, the animal plant thing was just vibing
What show is this?
Edit: oh my god it's literally in the title
crnge fan service
A shame it was Bobas sidekick that got the kill. Boba was useless in this show.
@@kR-qj7rw how?
I actually love how they successfully used both sarlacc designs
Both?
@@Gonig Yes both. theres two diffrent sarlacc designs
My first thought when seeing it. So cool. It's like a choose your own canon.
@@Gonig In the original release of Return of the Jedi, it didn't have that beak thing. It was just a flesh pit with hooks and tentacles. In the "remastered" version that Lucas did a few years later, he CG'd in that beak. This version shows how the Sarlacc could have both appearances
@@GonigYes the weird beak or mouth thing was added in the Special Editions. Originally it was a whole in the ground with just the teeth and tentacles.
For its victims that could still be suffering in there to this day....that was probably a mercy kill.
Good point. Always believe Luke and Han Solo should've destroyed it before leaving during Return of the Jedi to put the victims out of their misery,
@@erikmattson2507 I hope Slave Leia was thrown into the Sarlacc pit. 😂😂😂😂
@@erikmattson2507 I like to interpret personally that the "thousand year digestion alive" was just bullshit Jabba made up for fear effect. I know that lots of EU lore makes it canon (or did) but eh.
I feel like you'd have to die of starvation, cardiac arrest, suffocation, or a combination of all that jazz before that thousand years is up, right?
@@davidmaione2742the Sarlaccs tentacles in its stomach embedded themselves in the victims skin, supplying them with sustenance in addition to the acidic fluids that dissolved the outer portions of the meals, the sarlacc also processed them from within. The tendrils and vessels pumped the sarlacc's acidic blood into its meals and carried back nutrients from them. Not sure how oxygen would work. God what a nightmare creature.
So let me get this straight the sarlac pit could pull down an entire ship to the ground but in ROTJ it could not pull down lando so does that make lando the strongest character in star wars.
good point!
He was full of “smooth Colt 45.” No sarlacc can resist.
Nah, the sarlacc was being lazy back in ROTJ.
Remember Jabba kept it fed for *years* and all of sudden the food stopped coming. The pit was feeling it's equivalent of *starving* after being overfed for so long when Slave 1 willing comes into its range.
@@girl1213 wow I never thought of it that way thank you you answered my question
@@bigmann2351 of course you never thought of it that, because it's pure copium for bad writing
Love that both the original sarlacc design and the special edition sarlacc designs are now combined. With the old look being a dormant sarlacc and the special edition being an active sarlacc
Whatever helps you sleep at night after watching this Disney garbage, pal.
@@RobertJ-vo4bk Just because these newer Star Wars projects are shit doesn't mean that they can't have at least one thing kinda cool.
I don’t know how many fans know this. Boba fett just did an untold amount of humans, and sentient aliens the hugest favor ever. He put them out of their misery. Read about getting eaten by one of those things. It’s terrifying.

Perhaps the only time a seismic charge was actually seismic
The awesomeness of the seismic charge aside, "don't touch my buttons" and the look she gives him kills me every time. These two together are really something special
indeed!
'That day, she was amazed to discover that when he was saying "don't touch my buttons," what he meant was, "thank you."'
I STILL remember seeing episode2, attack of the clones, and I was in the theater when I first heard that sound. I thought my ears were going to bleed! My dad, rest his soul, damn near started jumping for joy that they had some heavy artillery kind of stuff in that movie, and I actually miss that day, because we didn't really go to movies much until then, and it was the last one I went to with him until he died in2013.
"I thought my ears were going to bleed!" such a hyperbole stupid comment.
@@flybeep1661bro relax.
@@flybeep1661you don't have to be so bitter
The last movie I saw with my dad in a theater was Terminator (1984). I am not even certain why he took me as he was not into movies/TV/SCI-FI. He took me to a few Disney movies when I was younger. My dad passed away in 2019 so all I have now are memories as well.
Dude's gonna need a handle of whisky to sleep tonight after this. That'd be some serious PTSD there, remembering being nearly digested alive the last time.
I’d be sleeping good that night knowing that things guts were turned into mashed potatoes
Which is why this scene doesn't really make sense. They acted surprised when the Sarlac popped out, like as if they had no clue what was down there!
This scene was absolutely exhilarating to watch in my home theater with surround sound speakers. The seismic charge dropped harder than my grandma falling down the stairs!
:-D Awesome
That wasn't funny. Really not cool man. But I laughed anyways. =D
How is Grandma now??
The slave one is probably the most bad ass ship in Star Wars. Sounds almost like sebulba’s pod racer which was awesome in theater and has the best weapons for a small ship. I really liked the Naboo cruisers too the fact both made a return is pretty cool.
the naboo cruiser comes back? which episode?
@@danwake4431 the naboo Cruiser was on the mandolorian I forget which episode exactly.
@@danwake4431 Disney retcon’d his ship, it’s no longer called the Slave I due to wokeness
Certainly you mean Bona Fett' Starship right?
I like how this show actually takes things from all of Star Wars and doesn’t just try to forget about it and ‘destroy the past’ like the sequels did.
1:26
You can tell she’s just like:
“Are you serious rn?”
😂😂
“Don’t touch my buttons” -Boba
Fennec: gives the whole “bitch I just saved you and your ship from becoming lunch” lmao
Boba: Listen to me, you oriental bitch, I wasn't waiting 39 to kill that fucking monster and not so that you out of nowhere know which button of a non-existent ship you never used to kill it, if it weren't for the fact that the writers are from Disney, it would have been founded a long time ago .
Imagine seismic charge didn't fall off.
@@Dr.Harvey 🗿
That's his way of saying that was a close one.
Yeah, that's basically the whole show. It should probably be called the book of Fennec, but they needed that legacy character for anyone to give a shit.
Boba Fett had no reason to believe that his armor was inside of the Sarlacc. He knew that he escaped from the creature with his armor on, and that other beings removed it from his body. Only a "fool" would have tossed Beskar armor into the Sarlacc.
Well he was passed out near the entrance of the Sarlacc so maybe he thought the Sarlacc's Tentacles grabbed the Jawas who stole the armor and pulled them into the Pit.
he was already out of it from getting out the sarlaacs stomach, then knocked out so he mightve just forgot what the fuck happened
@@notsamhoward How did Boba think that he could have escaped the pit without his armor? He remembers "not being able to breathe" without his armor, so it stands to reason that he would have "known" that he had his armor "on" when he busted through the Sarlacc. This is just bad writing.
I agree completely. This is probably the most awfully written scene in the entire show. There’s no way he could have lived and escaped the Sarlaac without his armor on. Fennec even acknowledges it. So, if he escaped, he knows the armor had to be on him. He even looks up at the sun through the T visor of his helmet. The only way the armor would be down there is if Boba took it off himself and threw it down there or, when he fought off the tuskians (while wearing his armor) they knocked him out and threw it down there…
Dumb.
@@michael9659 I just wanted to show off fennec, that is understood, but why make a fool of boba fett, whenever a female character is in danger, saves or humiliates him, the tsuken, the cyberpunk, fennec, etc.
That was freaking hilarious how that seismic charge went off underground like that it was like someone blew a fart and it sent shockwaves through the sand.
People have asked why can this thing that can apparently pull starships not be able to pull Lando into its mouth?
Simple: Jabba.
Jabba had used this pit as an execution ground. Sarlacc naturally don't eat a whole lot. That's why their digestive system works so slowly on food. But Jabba was constantly providing this pit with food for years, if not decades or even centuries. The Great Pit of Carkoon is a *glut*
And you know what happens with gluts? They get lazy when they are well fed and act crazy when they feel "starved." The Sarlacc didn't both eating Lando right away because Luke was providing it with food in the form of Jabba's goons falling into it. It was just holding onto Lando to keep him from going anywhere, treating him basically like desert after a meal. And it wasn't worried when Lando got away because as far as it's concerned, more food is coming.
But it didn't.
After Boba escaped, it was *waiting* for Jabba to keep on feeding it but time passed and no food? You know what happens to people who experience starvation? Same thing for this pit.
That's why it was so desperate for the Slave 1. And it got killed for it.
"...as you are slowly digested over a thousand years." Given what fell in in RotJ, the Sarlaac would still be in 'lazy mode' in TBoBF, surely?
Maybe it was playing with its food?
i love how disney tried so hard to change the name of the slave 1 but everyone was just like "nah" and people still call it by its REAL name
"Boba Fett's Starship" just doesn't have the ring to it like "Slave 1"
Doesn’t have much to do with this video, but okay.
Not like the name’s that big a deal anyway.

Goblin King: "Well....that'll do it."
It's pretty f'ing lucky that the charge fell off the ship and rolled the exact way it did. Nonsense
0:38 , 1:00 and 1:11 It’s fitting that Boba was one of the two responsible for killing the Sarlac. We can only imagine how many souls were put to rest when it perished.
Somewhere, it’s said that the minds of a Sarlac’s victims merge with its own, even as their bodies are slowly digested. Sarlacs can apparently live 20,000+ years naturally. But all they do is eat and they can’t move locations easily at all. So that doesn’t sound worth living such a long time.
1:07 FIRE IN THE HOLE 🔥🗣
I would say the sarlac definitely ate something that disagreed with it, seismic changes have a way of doing that. Must have turned that things guts into pudding
I get that it was discharged underground, but that seemed like one weak-ass seismic charge. Would’ve been nice to have the strum sound more muffled too.
Fennec is just lucky she didn’t get any blood on the canopy

It's funny when you're attuned enough to cinematic tropes, that you notice the sound floor dropping away and realize a jumpscare is imminent before it happens.
As awesome as it is to see the original Sarlac get blown up with a seismic charge, personally I think it would have been better story wise if the Sarlac was eaten by the Krayt Dragon (something that was mentioned they would do). Which Boba looks to hunt down, believing it now has his armor. Which would explain why Boba was present at the end of the Mandalorian episode, he tracked the dragon to that point, only to find Din now has it.
*_F A T A L I T Y !_*
_Slave I_ wins.
Flawless victory.
It would be badass if Boba Fett were to join Mortal Kombat. Unfortunately, Disney won’t allow it.
You knew the pit was going to drag them in but it was still scary when it happened. The pit of sarlaac is like going to hell.
1983: sarlaack recoils from a pistol shot, people can somewhat resist the pull on sand
2002: seismic charge breaks asteroids
this show: the thing holds on a fucking space ship and the bomb doesnt turn it into paste blowing up a hole
at least the effects are cool
lobotomy charge
C3PO: Jabba sentences you be eaten by the sarlac pit where you will be slowly digested for a thousand years.
Seismic Charge: 5 seconds is all i need.
Hated this entire scene.
1. He knows he was wearing his armor when he climbed out because he sure as hell didn't take it off in there, but thinks it's still in the sarlac.
2. He flies the ship right up to the mouth to use the headlights to look inside. Like that's gonna do ANYTHING. I was sitting here waiting for it to grab the Slave 1, which leads me to...
3. A starship doesn't have strong enough engines to tear the tentacles off a sarlac, but it can break orbit in seconds. I knew they would get caught because of cinematic physics, but it's like a kid wrote this.
4. The bad ass Boba Fett doesn't think to use the seismic charge, but he'll keep on blasting away at dirt.
5. Awful big risk she was taking that the charge was angled just right so they didn't get cut in half along with the sarlac.
Fun to watch if you're 10 or you shut your brain off, but really dumb and falls apart of you put one iota of thought into it.... Kinda like the entire series.
Yeah, it's annoying how badly written/directed this show was, and it sucks how this level of quality has become par for the course to me when watching Disney _Star Wars._ Yet at the same time, I haven't gotten completely numb to the frustration, because shows like this carry _so much potential_ and could be so much better without asking for much. Add to this how the stuff that's done well here and there keeps providing that dangerous thing called hope.
then why do you continue to watch .. who's more foolish? the fool or the fool who follows?
@@jchockey22”why do you continue to watch” Because when we stop in the middle y’all whine “B-but it gets better in season 24!!! You can’t judge it without finishing it”

I didn't buy this scene. That seismic cahrge would have done some major damage to Slave 1 as well. Recall the blast diameter from AOTC and that was in space. I know I'm nitpicking, but when people tackle Star Wars, these details matter!!

The seismic charge is my favorite sound in Star Wars. I would even rank it above Darth Vader’s breathing. (Though I like them for different reasons)

If you have a Dolby Atmos surround sound setup at home, this scene is an eargasm!!!!!!!!!
Too bad they had to ruin the scene by letting Fennec handle it and make Boba looks clumsy and unaware...

The only other sound effect I enjoy along side the seismic charge blast is the cannon fire from the Venator-class Star Destroyers and the Providence-class Dreadnoughts.

This is how i be flying near planet surfaces in Elite Dangerous
It now makes sense with the Sarlacc’s original design. The beak can sink down into the pit and would raise its beak to the surface.
I love the fact you can see the original colour when jango had it
Considering what the Sarlacc is capable of, I'd never dare to live on Tattooine at all, much less go anywhere remotely near the Pit of Carkoon
The Sarlaac died like it was Wile E. Coyote. Only without the cartoon logic that would allow it to be fine a few scenes later.
Why would you bring that ship that close?
No more Sarlacc Pit in the Dune Sea. I guess nothing and no one has to worry about any more sand monsters anymore, at least not ones that one.
