Lindsey, we share so many of the same likes in spring decorating! I, too, love lace curtains, embroidered linens (I am blessed to have ftom my grandmas.), baskets, ceramics, flowers, wreaths,...I put out seasonal salt and pepper shakers. I also have vintage kitchen utensils hung on my kitchen soffit including a carpet beater from my grandma. I also have beautiful pink depression glass items from family. I wish I could think of the name of this item for your hats, but it is wooden and folds accordian style, but can be hung to hold coats or, in your case, hats. It would fit in in a lovely way in your room. Love your spring touches! Beautiful!
You're home sounds so Charming I'm full of wonderful family treasures ✨ we do have one of those accordion coat racks for coats and scarves etc. I would like to find a wood peg that's also a shelf so we can play some little items on top as well ✨

I loved everything you did! I added a lace valance last nite to my bathroom. It is very dark in mine and although I dislike fake flowers. I added pink flowers to the inside window boxes. So when I saw this I felt like we are kindred spirits. Well, I always feel that anyway! Love you guys and all your cozy touches.

I have a little woven mossy bird's nest and blue eggs, with china birds, books, and tea cups. I also inherited some china eggs painted with flowers. I will have to pull them out.

I love your styling talent and am glad you know that even though you pick up ideas from other places you can still add your own style. Even at my age I constantly have to remind myself that the rules are just a guideline and each unique individual can add their own special touch. Thank goodness we are all not alike totally because that would be probably very boring. Your cottage looks so gorgeous and cozy and ready for a great Spring!
I'm glad you understand what I was trying to say about getting inspiration but putting your own twist on it, I quite agree it would be boring if we all had the same style 🌷
This was a lovely video Lindsay. You could tell that a lot of thought and work went into it. I loved how your new throw with the pansies went so well with your new duvet cover. I like to display old kitchen utensils and also adore embroidered linens. I’m looking forward to changing out my St Patrick’s day decorations for Easter/Spring decor next week, thanks for some inspiration. I acquired some more linens from my parent’s house last Spring when my dad decided to move into an assisted living facility. I liked how you draped linens in your baskets so I think I will use some to do that! Thanks!! 🌻🥰🫖🌸
Especially to have so many family linens 🕊️ I was also very happy to see how well duvet and pansy blanket matched because I was trying to just guess up the photos 🌷
I just finished sewing new linen European pillow shams late last night. Instantly the room was more complete and welcoming. Today the herb and veggie beds were filled with companion plants. Tomatoes have basil nearby, green tea herbs have chamomile flowering for pollinators, and 2 sets of seedlings are emerging nicely. Bumble bees floated through the garden, and below there were big happy, fuzzy honeybees enjoying the little purple and white flowers growing in the grass. Springtime!

I also chose a blue and green color palette for spring. The two are so soothing together and mimic what is happening outdoors. Some advice on a trailing plant for the bathroom. Ditch the Ivy and get a Pothos. They are so easy and do well if they do not get the bright afternoon sunlight. There are so many beautiful leaf colors to chose from to fit your decor or preferences. 💚

We are going to redo the outside. We love the european cottage style so this is what we are starting. I love your videos and the vintage music !

Oh wow, I wind in the willows theme for your bedroom sounds so Charming 🍃 funnily enough, we found a 1950s copy of the book today at an estate sale and just couldn't leave it behind even if you already have one at the cottage 🏡

And if you ever have time (and haven't already read his work) I highly suggest William Horwood's continuation of the Willows series. He writes much like K.G., and the stories are so fun. Oh, and you should definitely look up Chris Dunn's illustrations for the books as well. They're amazing! Anyway, thanks again for the inspiration.☺

@@itsacharminglife I don't think so? I'll have to look that title up! The titles I own by Horwood's are "Toad Triumphant," "The Willows in Winter" and a Christmas novel. I like to read them all at the respective times of year, which makes it more fun. I currently have them stacked on my bookshelf with an empty antique teapot on top that I plan to poke some ivy and a bird nest into. ☺ Thanks for the replies - hope I haven't babbled on too much! I enjoy the like-minded interests and hope one day to join your patreon.

Miss Lindsey.... May I just say how wonderful this video was, ... so sweetly and wonderfully done.
I change out my bathroom curtains, shower curtains and the " over lay curtains " that I use on the outer part, over the shower curtain. I love sheer white curtains, so I use those in the tub area, and on the window, which the window one is pulled back to one side. These replace the heavy velvet grey ones that are used in the Autum and Winter. I also change out the rugs and I like to create sweet Vignettes, such as the way you do, on certain surfaces. The ones you did were so charming, and of course, have to have books !
It seems as your content just gets better each time, and you looked absolutely beautiful, which just adds that special something to your Channel.

I paid $300.00 for my linen sheets, fitted, top sheet and 2 pillow cases and I am absolutely in love them.
It's my first set of linen sheets and I agree it is a wonderful experience sleeping on them. I will be looking into Brooklinen for my next set.

I went on a woven blanket thrifting binge a couple of years ago. I bought so many! I ended up donating some of them back again, but kept my favorites. My cat loves the way the woven cotton blanket feels so I found one with the All Creatures Great and Small poem on it, which is her designated blanket now.

Hospital corners, yessss! My mum was forced to do them at boarding school in country Australia and she taught me to do them as a kid. I’m still trying to teach my husband because it drives me insane when he doesn’t do them!

Very nice. I make pillow covers out of damaged vintage linens. I just made four cute ones out of a tablecloth that had a big hole in the middle and I paid 50 cents for it.

I am doing my house kind of “manor style” vs “cottage core” just because I have a little bit more formal things
I still want that woody , cottagey feel… It’s kind of a challenge …I put one thing in and it looks great and the next thing is just too sweet
