My buddy is a lead design artist and has been working with lasers for 20 yrs for artistry. I reluctantly told him he could try to etch a privy on mine to match the one he got - I swear I can’t even tell the difference. He got the depths correct and everything. We’re going to buy as many more as we can!
@@Broke_Stacker, unfortunately an etched privy mark is easy to detect compared to a struck one(that the Mint does). Plus, not sure your intentions but there would be no reason to copy something like that...
@@brentstraddle1462, thats unfortunate that the Mint is turning into a Coin Dealer trying to be greedy. Those should be random and available to anyone who bought one, kinda like the Silver version. Instead they are being auctioned off to people with deep pockets. Very sad...
I recieved mine yesterday and it had a mark that says 230 on the front. Why doesn't yours have one? I didn't think they were doing the privy on the gold ones. Only silver. Or did the mint mess up and send me a privy on accident?
@@McSilverWolff, hi. Well, ALL "230" privy marked coins went to Stacks Bowers auction house. If you got one, its definitely by mistake. Please send a pic of it to John@ZmansCoins.com and I can see if its legit. Hope you got one...

With such a limited quantity that should not take place. Pinhurst has 50+ for sale on eBay. The general public misses out so you F’N people can profit from it. .. weasel
