Kara and Nate, your videos helped me get through the pandemic. I watched every single video of yours from the beginning. I was trapped in my apartment in southern India wishing I could travel again or at least go back home to California. Thanks for being who you are! Your stories and smiles and authenticity made me happy even during that stressful time. I would watch you two read the phonebook (is that even still a thing??) Keep it going!
As i am against the mandates, i am still trapped, 2 years later, in my place in s. America. I cant wait for things to open up, so i can go home. Good thing is i am helping ppl while here and with my family, so it could be worse!
This resonates with me. I've been stuck for 2 years in my apartment in a different country from my family, unable to travel to see my family. I also discovered Kara and Nate during the pandemic and their videos have brought me so much joy. Thanks K&N! 😊
this van looks amazing, like seriously. its so modern and looks super comfortable and good to use. if i wouldnt live in an apartment or house i would 100% live in one of these, or even have one just on the side to use on trips. the way you guys give the information is so perfect and simple, i love you guys!
Living out of my little SUV with my pup and traveling right now. Definitely always interested in seeing the roomier van setups. Pros and cons to every choice for sure

Good to see a more “affordable” option to van life. As much as you guys love the van, I can only imagine how awesome it would be if you guys upgraded to this in the future.
Never worry about what kinda van you are driving...the fact you both are out there experiencing what the world has to offer...stuff which a lot of people cant do for whatever reason (age, money etc) and you are making the most out of your life and bringing us along for the ride. You are a cute and entertaining couple and since finding your channel, have enjoyed all the videos I have gone back to watch. Keep up doin what you're doing cause the whole world awaits you.
You both hit and missed a feature in the Ekko! The extra "media table" can also be popped up and used to give extra counter space when you're having to use the stove/sink area! 💫 If you guys want to see an AMAZING Travel Van/RV you need to do a tour in the 'Leisure Travel Vans' " Wonder REAR LOUNGE" Travel Van!!! (Or the step up in trim level to the Unity rear lounge!) It has a hidden full sized Murphy Bed in the back that flips up out of the way (so you never have to make the bed!) and give you a couch, more storage, TV, and lounge area in the back to double your usable space because the bed isn't taking any room up! PLUS the Wonder is about $50,000 LESS than the Ekko with a Hella lot more features like, for example, the large refrigerator has a door that can open either direction so it doesn't matter which you are standing on you can get in it when someone is on standing on the other side and not be in their way, and a bathroom door that can close off the bedroom/lounge area of the van from the front so you can change clothes/shower etc with guests inside your van and they can't see you naked!
We love our Unity LTV IB and wouldn’t have any other RV. That aside, its not all wheel drive and it’s diesel, which I love. Personally, I would not ever own a Ford or Chevy. Great review though!
@@o0Theresa0o Just type "Wonder rear lounge" into the UA-cam search bar and it will pull it up, or "Leisure travel vans" and you can see all the different styles.
I really appreciate the fact that they are honest when comparing but ultimately love their own van because as Nate said "It's our home" ! It shows how humble and emotionally connected they are ! Btw your content is amazing, Keep going you both !
The springs underneath the bed are for air flow so there's no trapped moisture so you don't get mold 🙂.. I love watching your channel and look forward to getting notifications that you've posted a new one.. it's always been my dream to convert either a van or bus and travel around the world.. unfortunately that's not possible for me right now but watching you two is the next best thing 😊
Wow, this is an impressive van! I actually kinda like the utilitarian look of the exterior more than I thought I would. The 4 seats facing each other is sooo spacious, and that bathroom is legit awesome! That swinging wall between the shower and sink is BRILLIANT! I would never have thought of such a thing. If you don't want a full RV and still want to live the good van life, this one is a great choice!
I'm guessing others have already stated this, but that extra "media" table can also be used as extra counter space. It swings over to cover the door and extends the counter space. I think this would be a great vehicle (except for the price of course) for people that live on the road full time. Especially for the ones that like to do cold weather areas like you all just did.
Except for the price? What exactly is your price target for something with full time considerations? A nice fifth wheel trailer is over $100k now. Then add in the truck, dual registration, and dual insurance. While I can't argue the price is fantastic, I can argue that I can see where the money was spent. A nice base platform: check. Above average insulation: check. Huge battery capacity: check. Good solar setup: check. A fifth wheel checks none of those boxes. I promise. Even the nice ones. Good solar is done by a very limited set of companies. The rest throw a single panel up there, a cheap controller, and call it a day. Many don't provide *any* battery. The batteries alone are $4,500 *each*.
I love the Ekko so much and is the one vehicle that has me thinking van life might be in my future! Kara, I just have to point out that microwave ovens and the food cooked in them are not unsafe... any more than other cooking appliances. If you have broken equipment, it could be an issue, so could not cooking the food all the way through. Food doesn't become radioactive, as there are no microwaves left in the food, once the oven is turned off. Microwaves are just light and therefore a carrier of energy. The myths that grew out of scared housewives of the late 70s still doing the work today 🤣
@@KitchenWitchery My family actually got a microwave in about 1977. It was HUGE with massive dials on it!! There weren't inherent issues with them necessarily... but plenty of issues with people misusing or misunderstanding them or faulty parts, making them dangerous. They were such a huge investment back then that you would actually take them for repair. I remember my dad (who was an electrical engineer) noticing the door wasn't latching properly, so he took it in for repair right away. They basically replaced everything in the unit. We had that thing until the early 1990s! I am just always surprised that those fears live on today... which was my original point.
@@EricaGamet It isn't misinformation, it was her opinion! Some of us are just more prone to ask questions and study deeper than the surface and ads. And frankly, after seeing that even 15 feet away they are still pumping out massive EMF's while running...some of us would just rather not mess with it. Not to mention that there are studies that show nutrients are depleted from baby food that was warmed in a microwave and the study recommended not using a microwave for baby food. Of course, that doesn't happen to adult food though...riiiiiigggghhhhht.
Thank you so much for the video. We really enjoy it,. We just saw that Ekko yesterday and we loved the bathroom too. The only thing is that is "backorder" and you need to wait almost a year. But in any case is great. The antenna on the roof is for Digital tv, is not SAT, that lot of people normally think. Is just for digital antenna signals, so, as soon as you leave the city, you wont get anything. Engines. Diesel is always better, why? durability and range. But sometimes (specially during this difficult times for diesel, since government is pushing to limit the emissions just to kill diesel engines) lot of brands are just discontinuing the diesels, or at least the good ones, to prices are very high, like 10k on new vehicles just for the diesel engine. And you can save that money, leave it at the bank and then swap the entire gas engine when it dies. AWD, is not 4x4. Is better than 4x2 for sure, but is proven that is not even close as 4x4. Except for Subaru that they do magic. Still a good "some offroad" but the low clearance and the awd will just make it good for a little snow on road, but not a mid difficulty off-road trail. Still the price is very nice compared to other options, but they made the difference using a ford gas chasis, that cost 40k or less than a mercedes, and is way more easier to find. This is the last year for mercedes for the v6 diesel, and 4x4 on their vans, sad but true, the will come with the smaller engine and awd in the future. Because emission limitations they dont want to deal with that, so the downsize the engine, and with that is not powerfull enought for a 4x4 (more moving parts plus the transfer case, takes away more HP than awd ford systems,) We are thinking to do the van ourselves, or buy one old. or a pick up camper. Right now the market is switching from the crazy prices and no availability of the 2021, to the "there are too many trailers for sale". So, the prices of new still high (our TT Lance 1985 is 75k) but the trade in price is by table, so they want to pay for our 2020 1985, 20k. So definitely not a good time to buy new. Since this 170k van, when is ready (in a year) will cost 150k, just when you receive it, and then next year will be 70 or less. In any case we love your videos and enjoy every second of them
That was a very long rv tour. Helpful if anyone is wondering what the amenities are. Having storage under the bed is no different than your can because to get at it you have to lift it up and your bedding would have to be moved. Agree with Kara, the kitchen is small. A ton of money for a fold back wall to have a shower. 😉
Kara and Nate, your videos have become a favourite in our household. Just this morning our kids came cruising by (7 and 4 years old) playing "Kara and Nate". You have inspired our 7 year old daughter to really want to travel. Before your videos she always requested to camp at the same place and exact same site each summer. You have sparked a little travel bug in her! I am an automotive painter at Leisure Travel Vans in Manitoba Canada and it would be awesome to see your review of the product we make. If you ever make your way back to Canada you would be more than welcome to come for a visit!
The bathroom was very cool, but the bedroom was actually the most interesting part to me. I really liked the bed arrangement because its perfect for a pair of friends who enjoy travelling together but don't necessarily want to share a bed. Most vans and RVs are designed with couples in mind, or sometimes a couple with a kid, but nobody ever considers that maybe you just wanna travel with your best friend. The only thing that would make it even better is if the beds could be (separately) curtained off for privacy.

The lagune table swivels to extend the kitchen counter top. The bed you use a twin top sheet for the middle and two twins on the other beds. You sleep sideways and the bed creates a larger queen. The cassette toilet you use liquid biodegradable cassette. The outdoor kitchen cooler you can place 4 days worth of juicing. Traveling for a month with three person family we had 30 days worth of meat. Our son in snow can lay sideways in the table area of the kitchen. The garage is massive. You can store 3 paddleboards and climbing gear along with 15 gallons of drinking water to conserve your 60 gallons. The generator is amazing. We have tried every van and bought the Ekko. It's incredible! The price listed is not what you pay.
Hello Guys, Love your videos. You deserve one of these. Imagine what you can do with 50 gals of fresh water and that studio/condo like van. If you want space for two more people, there is a pop-up tent. BTW, the standard Ekko comes with a generator and only one battery. Therefore if needed, you can run your A/C as long as you have fuel. Now, the Ekko come in two models: Ford Transit chassis and Sprinter Chassis. While I don't like diesel engines, the Sprinter chassis is 4-6 inches longer and they made the beds a 80 long like a true residential queen or king size beds. With the exception that apparently the Sprinter doesn't have the the outside kitchen option, you may prefer the layout. They improved the kitchen as well, for more counter space. I hope you review both 2024 versions. Kara, while a diesel engine usually is more durable, and depreciation is slower, I still prefer gas because of the following: 1. Chassis been the same, a diesel engine will cost at least $10,000 more. 2. Diesel cost at least 40% more than gas and only 10 more of mileage efficiency. 3. Diesel engines need specialized mechanics, therefore rare and most expensive. 4. Overall cost of ownership is much higher. You will never recover the extra expenses of a diesel engine vehicle. 5. In the case of the Ford Transit engine, it has more power than the Mercedes Sprinter. Many content creators with Sprinter vans were surprised of the power of the Ford Transit, specially going uphill.
I feel like this would be a great upgrade for you guys, especially since youve been going on trips in the van again. Obviously the one your using right now can still go to a good home, seems like you could live more comfortably in this new one.
What a great video. I love that you really showed the comparison between doing it yourself, and where the money goes in a higher priced vehicle. Thank you for showing that difference. For all of us, in doubt as to whether we could get a better deal if we do it ourselves. This really shows a good point of view. Thanks.
Definitely an amazing van but I think the Unity rear lounge looks amazing and has so many extra things. Would love to see you all do a review of it if possible!
I absolutely love the video of the Winnebago Ekko that you got to try out to show us as well. I can agree with you Kara, The first outdoor storage compartment, I'd just leave it as storage. I wouldn't put any fixed outdoor kitchen equipment in it. However, I would probably have a folding table and a camp stove, along with a couple camping chairs inside of that storage if I lived in it full time. I can agree I'd want the ability to maybe roast a marshmallow outside. But my whole thing is, I wouldn't want something like that taking up SO MUCH room. To spend time outdoors would be excellent. and to have some equipment to do so would be fantastic. Like a picnic blanket or two even. I love the shower configuration. I think that's so neat how it moves. The price was right for your van Kara and Nate. It's always nice to explore what is being made today, and I can understand that you always underwhelm your van when you make these comparison videos, but you always have to give and take, with everything in life really. The idea is you still have an amazing van with a shower, sink, toilet, bed, seating area, kitchen, etc. And it's self contained and it is off the grid capabilities. So I mean, I know there are things left to be desired. The Ekko does seem to be a VERY nice vehicle. Actually more affordable than a Earthroamer. To think the cost of that Winnebago Ekko costs about as much as my parents house costed that they bought in 2005, that's insane. It's amazing to think though that it's a house that you can move down the road, wherever you wanted to move to, to be honest.
You two do a wonderful job of giving a consumer-oriented tour of the vehicle. My husband and I are in the market for a retirement travel van/camper and I'm so tired of watching vendor-created sales videos. So thank you! On the basis of this video we are considering the Winnebago Ekko:)
Another great video tour! The bathroom was surprisingly impressive 😌👏🏽 Even though the layout and features of the Ekko are very cool, life in your van enables you all to spend more on your globetrotting adventures! I would also miss your van mishaps 😃 😁 Safe travels❣️
OMG! You guys are crazy…..what you’ll do is soo professional but still a specialist kind of WORK. Which would require a very very awesome set of skill set and you guys have it all. WOW!
I have been researching the Ekko for months it looks so awesome! (If you put Ekko in the title I think you’ll get a lot more views from people like me who want to see reviews) Love the channel keep up the amazing work!
🎉your videos have inspired me ever since I was little. I’m still a kid but I’m much older I will always love your videos because I love ❤️ to watch 😊traveling and surviving your videos are perfect 🤩 ❤for that so it is amazing 😻😊😜🤪
As a future RV-er (Van-er). love the comparison videos! The Ekko is definitely a unique design. FYI, the desk Kara showed swivels toward the kitchen to give more counter space.
Although very expensive the EKKO van bathroom is out of this world...WOW🎉They thought of everything!!!. The bed is a bit disappointing...other than that..if you can afford the EKKO ..go for it..luxury on wheels for sure. ..congrats on a job more than well done😀
This Tennessee Nana loves your videos and so does my 8 year old Granddaughter. She never misses an episode. If you're ever near Huntsville Alabama she love a meet-up, or if your home in Tennessee I'd bring her up to Tennesee for a meet-up.
I’ve watched about 500 videos. Since covid. U guys have gotten me through so much! I couldn’t believe a few months ago you were in Rhode island and Massachusetts. I was like an hour away. I’ve been to the places you were at!
🥰 that made my whole year! Thank u! Safe travels. My son is also autistic, he knows every country and capital, and states. He literally knows it all so he watches your videos with me. He will definitely travel and or be a pilot some day. My daughter is 14 and she wants to live in Japan. We watch all your videos too.
I just can’t get use to the look of these RV’s. This huge white mass in the backcountry is so unsightly. I have a 2021 sprinter converted by Sync Vans and it is so nice. Being gray I don’t stand out in the back country and I can 4 wheel over any river bed or up a snowy road. I wish someone would make a wrap of trees for these white vans and hide the mass in the beauty of back country. I highly recommend Sync Vans if you are seriously going away from it all. It’s a game changer and a whole different way of life. 🌱🌱😁 thanks.
Thanks Kara and Nate! This really helps cement our choice for ordering our EKKO! It's been a year though......hopefully we'll get to experience what you guys have reviewed very soon! Love your videos!
Loved your review of the ekko! What a cool little RV and space is utilized perfectly. The garage and the bathroom are my favorite features!! I have a travel trailer but definitely love this.
5:57 Wise and kind of her to mention that. That got automatically Liked too as well as other thoughtful things in this video for new potential RV owners
K&N have a dedicated collection of “rough start” videos that makes a star appearance every once in a while and I’m all about it. Nate’s electrical wiring, pee spilling, and fire inducing clips are gold 🤩
I watched this with my engineer fiance who works on vehicles, and as soon as Nate started talking about the batteries, his eyes started to squint. Then he pulled out a calculator and started muttering about the difference between amps and watts. So thanks for getting him engaged in your videos, too 😂 we also loved when Kara was pointing to the display and started talking about the solar panel stuff and then immediately cut away. 😂
I'm is so proud of how far you guys have come! I will be starting my youtube this October. You two have been one of my three inspirations. flying the nest and lost Leblanc being the others.

When Kara was counting the number of outlets in the Echo my brain switched into flashback mode when she was counting all of the outside freezers around the New Braunfels TX location of Buc-ee's.
Kara, just have to say, you are adorable. I love your excitement and positivity. Nate you are a natural in front of the camera.. You both are. I watched you since the beginning and you have both come a long way. Keep on going forever.
I actually love it when you guys try out other options of home on wheels and give reviews! Very interesting and helpful. Can you guys try the Leisure Unity corner bed?
Hey guys, You may want to watch the modifications the couple from "The Fit RV" did to their EKKO. I particularly like the kitchen mod. They switched the sink to the other side for a bigger one. They eliminate the propane stove and leaving the whole counter free, and got a portable induction cooktop. I think they got a single one. If space wasn't a problem, I would get a double one. They also installed a massive solar system.
you guys are the greatest motivational youtuber i have ever seen.. every time i watch your contents.. i believe that i would live the dream exactly like you guys... love ya both
You know, I've been going through your past travels. I recently watched your video on the Trans-Siberian Railroad. I saw you stay in a Bedouin dwelling in the middle of the desert on the Arabian Peninsula. Those videos were wonderful--they had heart and soul and a sense of wonder. Presumably, you don't care about those old videos anymore, because a lot of them only have two or three hundred thousand views, so obviously that content is no longer worth your time. This video is supposed to be showing your lives (It's one of your hashtags! #vanLIFE). Instead, you fast forward through an evening of LIVING in about 40 seconds, with the other 26 minutes of the video being an ad for this supercamper (oh, with a minute-and-a-half ad for your company mixed in). And this is the second consecutive video that was nothing but a straight-up advertisement (the "$1.5M treehouse"). And I've loved a number of the videos you've made of funky/cool places to stay (the places in Norway, one of the lodges in Africa was beautiful, even something luxurious like a solar-powered yacht). And you did tours of most/all of these places, but it was usually 5-15 seconds per room (not 20 minutes on the whole place). And then we saw you LIVING in these awesome spaces. It's great for you that you've racked up over half-a-million views in a couple of days on this video, but that's not why I'm here. I wasn't here for the social media influencers. I was here for the travel vloggers. But you've changed--that's certainly your prerogative. But it means I'm out. You probably don't care, because the #ads and the invented physical challenges get you the 7-figure views you covet. But there's an ever-dwindling segment of your audience that was drawn to you by your exploration of the world. You're losing them in favor of your new soulless social media personas. You know what my favorite recent video of yours is? Nate's Grandpa's Van-Life video. He seems like a wonderful man, and your interactions (especially yours, Nate) were absolutely wonderful. I loved that video because of the humanity we saw in it--even the van had character! A lot of that is gone now. (If you are one who likes Kara & Nate's new social media personas, do me a favor and don't @ me.)
I saw your IG post before I had time to finish watching this, and your hair was healthy and beautiful looking here. But the cut/style you got really frames your face and shows off your features. It's YOU! 😊 IMO
I'm guessing someone has mentioned it already, but that stuff under the mattress is for airflow; it helps to reduce mould. You can see it used by some of Van builders on Jarod Tocci's channel. Gotta say I'm not a fan of that bed and the Garage, and I think a proper permanent bed on air struts to tilt up would accomplish most of the same thing without the cushions. Also, I always prefer the garage space accessible from the inside.
I love the video but i think you made the thumbnail wrong because the prices are on the wrong side, if you see this comment i hope you have a nice day ❤
Hi Kara and Nate I was so excited seeing this video ever day I come to you channel to see if you posted and finally you did and I can’t wait. this video just makes me want to travel so much be safe and cherish all the good moments
I like Kara and Nate but lately these advertisement videos haven’t been very interesting… like to see more real adventure and not advertising hotels or vans…
Its really expensive, but this Van is so good. It makes me (someone who has no interest in a van life) be comfortable and interested in the van life travel experience
I want an EKKO. We're shopping for a fifth wheel right now (my husband is an evangelist)and we already have a duly truck, so we figure the trailer is the way to go. But this Ekko is super nice. Y'all did a great review, and I'm not even done watching it yet.
We were on our way back to Kentucky from vacation in Florida yesterday. We had a Mercedes van from Colorado pass us and it was definitely a live in van. It was awesome. Keep the great videos coming you guys. Love it
Wow - that bathroom in very clever. Having the twin beds provides another sitting area and a bit of privacy from each in such a small space - a real plus. I think you could come with a fix for the short middle part of the bed. I am supprised that Winnebago didn't deal with that. The plastic pieces under the mattress is to help prevent mildew and mold from forming when you are using heat in the rv or just from your body heat.
When we bought our Micro Minnie Winnebago trailer, the first thing we did was to get rid of the microwave (it’s easier than you would think) and added a shelf so now we have awesome storage for our pots and pans.
The spring things under the mattress are to increase airflow and prevent the formation of mould. This can happen with warm bodies and cooler underneath forming condensation.
Hi. Love your channel!!! We do have a camper van ourselves and, here in Europe, they almost always come with a cassette toilet. You do say, in your experience, they tend to smell. But do you know you have to put a special fluid in the waste tank? Because if you do so, it brakes down the toilet paper and stops the ‘smell’. Also, first do your business, then open the valve. This way, the waste tank isn’t open for so long 😊

Review this RV Nate!
We love our Unity LTV IB and wouldn’t have any other RV. That aside, its not all wheel drive and it’s diesel, which I love. Personally, I would not ever own a Ford or Chevy. Great review though!
Is there a video somewhere that features this?
@@o0Theresa0o Just type "Wonder rear lounge" into the UA-cam search bar and it will pull it up, or "Leisure travel vans" and you can see all the different styles.
I am one of the painters at Leisure and would be totally pumped to see a review of their product!
You guys should totally buy one!!! It would be awesome to see you guys traveling a little more comfortably! 😀
I really appreciate the fact that they are honest when comparing but ultimately love their own van because as Nate said "It's our home" ! It shows how humble and emotionally connected they are ! Btw your content is amazing, Keep going you both !
grdhdrjhrj
Kara: Where would they sleep? Oh ya in the trunk 🤣
It would be nice if they have tunnel get to the trunk from inside
bot
In the Ekko, the desk that is in front of the passenger seat I think swings around to extend the countertop in front of the door! Love yall's channel!
Thanks, I was going to point this out as well. I think with a following this huge it should be important not to carelessly spread misinformation.
Not only that, but a lot of the newer microwaves also work as ovens too.
@@hillardssepticservice2432 I had a combo micro/convection/Advantium (halogen) oven in a previous house. That thing was insane!
Because emission limitations they dont want to deal with that, so the downsize the engine, and with that is not powerfull enought for a 4x4 (more moving parts plus the transfer case, takes away more HP than awd ford systems,)
We are thinking to do the van ourselves, or buy one old. or a pick up camper.
In any case we love your videos and enjoy every second of them
You wrote ALOT
Despite the van having it's challenges, I couldn't imagine another van for your videos!
Love these comparisons with these vans and your perspective on them
Kara and Nate, your videos have become a favourite in our household.
Pro level vid right here. You guys are frickin legends.
Aww thanks Brian!!
Love how you gave your sprinter van a hug. Show some love.🙂🤣
@@KaraandNate You said 28 outlets but didn't mention the 2 outlets on the exterior. Does the 28 outlets include the 2 exterior outlets?
The bathroom was very cool, but the bedroom was actually the most interesting part to me. I really liked the bed arrangement because its perfect for a pair of friends who enjoy travelling together but don't necessarily want to share a bed. Most vans and RVs are designed with couples in mind, or sometimes a couple with a kid, but nobody ever considers that maybe you just wanna travel with your best friend. The only thing that would make it even better is if the beds could be (separately) curtained off for privacy.
I completely agree, and because of the design I can totally see an easy way to diy curtain set up
I completely understand but honestly if he going to be living with someone you need to be comfortable with them

Try sleeping horizontally on the bed rather than vertically... that might work
Is there a reason why you guys dont sell that van and buy one of those
Hi
We love the regular posts! Keep em coming, absolutely enjoy watching your videos. Been following your journey for three years now ❤️
Hello Guys,
Love your videos.
Kara, while a diesel engine usually is more durable, and depreciation is slower, I still prefer gas because of the following:
Thanks.
these videos make me want to buy a van, leave everything behind, pick up my friends and live our best lives
Yeah, good luck. These videos and the glamorization of van life has tripled prices of even 30 year old, barely functioning vans.
And who has this money to spend on 'van life'
Definitely an amazing van but I think the Unity rear lounge looks amazing and has so many extra things. Would love to see you all do a review of it if possible!
I love how giddy Nate was with this RV. Like a kid in a candy store. Kara you are the perfect tour guide as usual!
These kind of reviews are great. I love it when people review something without being sponsored, just gives a better unbiased view.
You actually think this wasn't a sponsored review? ROFL!!
Oh hey Kara and Nate! Love starting my Saturday with y’all!
Never seen this type video before. Impressed with what you do. Thanks.
Another great video tour! The bathroom was surprisingly impressive 😌👏🏽
Even though the layout and features of the Ekko are very cool, life in your van enables you all to spend more on your globetrotting adventures! I would also miss your van mishaps 😃 😁
Safe travels❣️
OMG! You guys are crazy…..what you’ll do is soo professional but still a specialist kind of WORK. Which would require a very very awesome set of skill set and you guys have it all. WOW!
I have been researching the Ekko for months it looks so awesome! (If you put Ekko in the title I think you’ll get a lot more views from people like me who want to see reviews) Love the channel keep up the amazing work!
everything on the Ekko looks cheap IMO, lot of corners cut
Kara, you absolutely shine when you talk! Wonderful personality!
I still think my favourite is your van!! Despite all of the challenges you've had, it makes it part of the adventure!
Love Kara and Nate I have been watching y’all since 2020 it’s been amazing watching y’all go on different types of trips ❤❤❤❤
So happy to take a break from cleaning to watch yall 💕
Kara: Where would they sleep? Oh ya in the trunk 🤣🤣🤣
🎉your videos have inspired me ever since I was little. I’m still a kid but I’m much older I will always love your videos because I love ❤️ to watch 😊traveling and surviving your videos are perfect 🤩 ❤for that so it is amazing 😻😊😜🤪
WE LOVE YOU KARA AND NATE! Thanks for making my Saturday! 😊❤️
Nice rig. Seems very capable. Those "things" under the mattress is to allow for air flow to prevent mold and mildew on the mattress. Nice review 👍
As a future RV-er (Van-er). love the comparison videos! The Ekko is definitely a unique design. FYI, the desk Kara showed swivels toward the kitchen to give more counter space.
I was wondering about that, they must have thought something
Although very expensive the EKKO van bathroom is out of this world...WOW🎉They thought of everything!!!.
The bed is a bit disappointing...other than that..if you can afford the EKKO ..go for it..luxury on wheels for sure.
..congrats on a job more than well done😀
Like normal, loving this video so far! It’s been so encouraging to see you two grow, together and individually.
Watching from the Dallas centurion lounge. Channeling Kara and Nate this morning!
I love watching your Videos 😍!!!!!!!!!!!!you have brought me sooooooooo much joy during the pandemic!!!!
My guess is that Nate meant 120 volts (inverter) outlet. Not amps or watts.
I loved this video and I can say excluding all the diy VANS, this is the best deal I've seen.
And the bath design is perfect!!!
Lol 😂 Nate, “ this is definitely going on one those foot websites” hahaha Kara was like nooooo 🤣🤣
Ha ha definitely 👍 Not complaining 😉
I'm is so proud of how far you guys have come! I will be starting my youtube this October. You two have been one of my three inspirations. flying the nest and lost Leblanc being the others.
Starting my Saturday’s with you just make sense! I love catching up on videos and getting ideas for my next travel adventure. Canada in May with Karma Campers is booked! 😊
12:46 - I love my old trousers, rarely I have to get new ones, Jeans are feeling better the longer they last ;)
Thank you both for continuing to be an inspiration to us travel vloggers! Thanks for another great vid 😎👍👍
Hello Kara and Nate, how are you?
I hope you are having a good time traveling, and lastly safe travels!
HAVE A GREAT DAY/NIGHT
When Kara was counting the number of outlets in the Echo my brain switched into flashback mode when she was counting all of the outside freezers around the New Braunfels TX location of Buc-ee's.
Kara, just have to say, you are adorable. I love your excitement and positivity. Nate you are a natural in front of the camera.. You both are. I watched you since the beginning and you have both come a long way. Keep on going forever.
I actually love it when you guys try out other options of home on wheels and give reviews! Very interesting and helpful. Can you guys try the Leisure Unity corner bed?
Hey guys,
You may want to watch the modifications the couple from "The Fit RV" did to their EKKO.
Videos continue to be inspiring and awesome!!! Love what you guys do!!!
you guys are the greatest motivational youtuber i have ever seen.. every time i watch your contents.. i believe that i would live the dream exactly like you guys... love ya both
You know, I've been going through your past travels.
It's YOU! 😊 IMO
I always enjoy these comparison videos! The bathroom was definitely a cool layout and very functional🚿
Stay you ✌🏼
I'm guessing someone has mentioned it already, but that stuff under the mattress is for airflow; it helps to reduce mould.
I love the video but i think you made the thumbnail wrong because the prices are on the wrong side, if you see this comment i hope you have a nice day ❤
Its done on purpose to make people click
Whoah. That bathroom is genius!!!! Excited to see where you go exploring in my neck of the woods! (LA 😊) Love watching you guys!!
Do we need another comparison video... Yep, always yes.
17:27 I love how excited Kara seems when she thinks about making her friends sleep in the trunk if they had that van 😅😂
I want an EKKO. We're shopping for a fifth wheel right now (my husband is an evangelist)and we already have a duly truck, so we figure the trailer is the way to go. But this Ekko is super nice. Y'all did a great review, and I'm not even done watching it yet.
So I thought I would do van life, I was set on it. But then I forgot I would have to learn how to drive.
😂
We were on our way back to Kentucky from vacation in Florida yesterday. We had a Mercedes van from Colorado pass us and it was definitely a live in van. It was awesome. Keep the great videos coming you guys. Love it
This is just a plain Ekko Advertisement. Love your video’s but this one ☝️ not so much😕
Wow - that bathroom in very clever.
Need more Kara feet shots for Wikifeet
Bruh
guys im 9 minutes in and yall are obviously in love. Maybe its time for yall to treat yourselves... if you can. But its really cool... :)
Legend has it, Kara is still fighting with that cabinet door
23:50 that shower/toilet set up is amazing!
Hello! Nancy and I came to see this interesting comparison. Wow! Very thorough tour. I love this van!
shawn anit wrong thats the best bathroom ive ever seen for a van
With the cassette toilet, after you empty, rinse and close it, run a little water into it. That will prevent odors seeping back up around the seal 😊
