UPDATE: Kroger has changed this program a bit and it's now called the Boost Membership with a cost of $59 per year go.magik.ly/ml/1tnot/ (affiliate) Benefits include free next-day grocery delivery on orders of $35 or more, Fuel Points, and exclusive savings!
As an employee of Kroger I want to say that definitely treats there employees very well and the reason we can’t take tips is because we do make a decent pay. Kroger has many savings like you said with the coupons, fuel points (up to $1 off per gallon, up to 35 gallons), and free stuff online and they pick random weeks to give out free goodie bags as well. So stay tune for that. To answer another question we have fulfillment/distribution centers in Florida. One in Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Miami and Daytona coming soon. I’m in love with the service and it helps with families with kids and those that live in the country areas and dirt roads I’ve seen benefit from it the most. If I can help with any other questions ask away. 💚 But this is by far one of the BEST companies in my lifetime I’ve worked for and I’ve worked over 50 jobs and real quick to quit too, but I believe I finally found a career here.
Thanks so much for sharing this! I love the delivery service and every employee I've interacted with has been great! After hearing horror stories about how Amazon treats workers I was wondering...
And you're so right about it helping families. I can sometimes forget being child free, but if you're a parent and having to take young kids to the store it can be stressful and time consuming.
From one LE😀 to another thanks for this comment. I know what you mean by quitting something if it doesn't work out...I'm quick to run!...just @$$ cheeks & back seen.
I loved your review on Kroger, you little Millennial! HA HA HA. I think you left out a couple of key components. For me, I'm 71. What I think you left out is 1. You don't have to drive to the store, find a parking place (even in inclement weather), grab a shopping cart (that has been touched by 100 people before you. and 2. You are not faced with "Impulse Items" at the store. This alone pays for your yearly pass. Thanks again.
It’s very useful! I’m on the free trial period and i’m so happy with the service. The groceries are kept refrigerated when its delivered to you and no tipping! 👍
Been using the service for over a year now and Kroger really runs a decent operation. It’s not any more expensive than regular grocery shopping and very reliable.
I am in the Jacksonville area. When we moved here from Michigan (where I shopped at Meijer, Aldi, Kroger, and other stores.) I started shopping at aldi, walmart, and publix. I do not like Publix and love Aldi. However Aldi is a 20 min drive and gas is $4 a gallon now. Also my time is precious to me. I found out about Kroger new delivery and tried it with the coupon for $15 off delivery. I used it up and then paid for the fee. I have to say I have been using this service for a few months and have been so pleased!!!!! We are a family of 5 (3 active high energy boys) I can buy generally everything I need but do see that somethings are out of stock. I am spending maybe $80-100 a week for groceries. I still with sale items and coupons and I do not buy a lot of snacks unless on sale. Even though Aldi is cheaper with driving, shopping, loading groceries and then driving back home to unload and put away this service is a win win for me. This morning while getting my kids ready, in a robe, with coffee my groceries arrived at 7:00am, I put them away and now have my whole day to do other fun and great things.
I'm finding the same thing, that I'm not spending more on groceries using the Kroger delivery service. In fact, I think I'm spending a bit less overall. We have a monthly grocery budget and never go over the allotted amount. I get deliveries about 2x a week. The time savings is totally worth it.
Don't worry about the bags. Kroger collects them so that they can be recycled into very high quality Trex decking material. Just leave them out for your driver to take.
I live just far enough away from a store, that its a wash when considering the delivery fee. However, if I consider the coupons I get in the mail that Kroger sends me, its still worth it to just drive into the store, as you cant use those paper kroger coupons for a delivery order. Are paper coupons going to continue?
Thank you! Overall it's a great service but there are a few quirks that I wanted others to be aware of like the fact that your order will likely have out-of-stock items.
Thanks for the review! Im in St. Pete and have been getting their delivery coupons and wondering how they could deliver wirh no actual stores. Might have to give them a try as i am totally fed up with Walmart delivery.
I'm interested in trying Kroger's delivery 🚚 but I'm also hesitant to try it out because I'm not sure if you can use ur digital coupons on your orders and save that way to? We use Walmart delivery and it's worked out great for us but Walmart's delivery fees are kinda the same as Kroger's but they have to different delivery fees and the prices are right. I've used Instacart in the past but the only thing I don't like about Instacart is that they require u to have at least $50 on your card before you can start shopping and before they can deliver to you. We shop a lot in store at Kroger's and I think that might be part of the reason why I'm hesitant to try out their delivery service. I'm Ashley by the way. 🙂👍🏽
I had to $15 off for over 35 I had a item out of stock for 2.59 now i’m paying 40 bucks I call them told Some of the produce were moldy so they gave me $25 Credit
Here in Florida that’s pretty much it. When you check out with alcohol, you have to input your birth date and check a box that says you confirm you’re 21. Delivery person cards you at the door. Pretty easy though.
I hated lifting the groceries five or six times by the time I got them home. It was a basket full. Now I just lift them out of the car into the house. I have been using Kroger pick up since 2019. I may never go back in. I also find more in the store through the search function on the APP so I try new things I would never peruse in the store. I am not an impulsive in store shopper, and buy more through the app. I write my shopping list by adding it to the cart as it comes to mind, so my average list is better thought out and longer. Yep, since I live literally around the corner from Kroger, I can't make myself pay for delivery. Yet.
This kroger delivery thing will fail and fail bad. Can you imagine the amount of waste there having with the perishables rotting in these distribution center.
Kroger, as far as I’m aware (at least in my area) does these deliveries through a third party. Essentially they just get people to come in, scan a barcode, we (cashiers) ring everything up, and then it’s totaled out and send to your house by the person who took your order through the third party.
It does depend on your location. In the Tampa Bay area, Kroger delivery drivers work directly for the company and are not 3rd party. Their website does state that in some markets the deliveries are done by 3rd party companies.
NO, it is not worth it. Wasted an entire day waiting on delivery and had to call them for status. Then THEY CANCELLED IT They sent 2 text--see below: Purchased $176 worth of groceries. Chose time for 6/30/23 from 10am-11am for KROGER delivery. Nothing. I tried reaching out at 11:45 nothing. Couldn't connect to chat or via phone. Finally at 12:30pm connected by phone. Order online says 'out for delivery'. Rep said she called dispatch. Couldn't give an ETA, nothing. Said dispatch wanted to know if I wanted to cancel. Well no. Delayed plans now and time it took to do my order. Called again at 7pm. Couldn't give an ETA. Got a text from Kroger saying they are giving me $10 off on NEXT purchase. Rep gave me $20. Not even sure it's there. Then 8pm get a text stating, " Your Kroger delivery has been cancelled. If you weren't expecting this, give us a call at *******377." HUH? Why would I expect it? Then I go to my account online, it says it's cancelled and will be refunded immediately BUT my bank may not have it for 3-7 business days." WOW. So I'm on hold, which takes about 30 minutes to get to talk to someone. Never again for delivery KROGER. Wasted time in doing the order, cancelled plans because it's 180 degrees out and last time you didn't ring the door bell so I have to keep checking and be here, then you won't even keep people updated via text that you are late? Horrible Horrible customer service. Guess you don't need my $200. Oh well.

Well done and informative video. Thank You!
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing review! Exactly what I expressed. Will definitely use it again
Thank you for doing this. I looked at others and they use random drivers. This is better!
Thank you for your feedback.
Thank you from Oklahoma!I'm going to Try it !

How much do they pay hourly
Thanks for the review, it was very thorough. I have Amazon but my frozen is always iffy. Will probably try them next month. Thanks.

Very useful. Considering using this service when going to Disney next year. Thanks!

I work at kroger and i love it
Thank you for your review
This helped me
Going to go for it, first time.

If Kroger has your cell number for text you will receive update when item is replaced or refunded, if item not found.
Thanks for the review! Im in St. Pete and have been getting their delivery coupons and wondering how they could deliver wirh no actual stores. Might have to give them a try as i am totally fed up with Walmart delivery.
Buy the pass first and then use the 15 dollar off coupons to start paying for the pass.

Yes you can use digital coupons but not paper manufacturer’s coupons
Thanks so much for sharing!...Your review was very helpful & I'm placing my first order as I watch this. 💚

Can someone please explain how a delivery that contains alcohol works? Do they card me upon delivery?

Such a great video,
U deserve more views 💚
I’m assuming the reason you were always missing bakery items is because delivery’s are done primarily through fulfillment centers in Florida
I got 39 items for 103$ I haven’t checked out but I’m needing too lol
I ain’t seen em.
Put on my bra because I’m a lady…something I need to keep in mind since the pandemic.
Right???

Where I live they have a huge fulfillment warehouse and dispatch drivers in kroger box trucks. No third party.
I live in the Charlotte NC metro area and Krogers is building a fulfillment center here and we haven’t had a Krogers in the area since the late 80’s.
