- It’s new guitar day!! I know, who needs another guitar? Well, me because, I just can help it.
This one however, is different and it is definitely been missing from my collection, my musical toolbox if you will. It just does stuff and plays like non of my other guitars.

This is the first guitar that I ever fell in love with. I tried nice Epiphones and Mexican Fenders, but couldn't find one I really connected with and sold them all on. Then one day I picked up a Juno off the wall at a Guitar Center and just got it. This is a great beginner guitar (if you have the means) because there are no distractions. It's also well-appointed, fun to play, stays in tune, and a lot cheaper than a US-made Fender or Gibson, while being set up and built just as well. The locking tuners alone are a game changer.
Pete literally makes ANY guitar sound good. But the Harmony's are cool. Thx for the vid!♥
When I was a teenager, my friend got a Harmony Les Paul studio copy for Christmas from the Sears catalog. It sounded amazing. Super low action, pickups were warm, great neck. It sounded so good that when another friend (who had just graduated from Berkelee College of music in Boston) played it, he BEGGED him to sell it to him. He said it played and sounded like magic.
Congrats my never-met-danish-friend. That guitar was built about a half mile from my house in Kalamazoo. Enjoy.

I love Harmonys. I have a vintage Rocket I've had since the 90s. But the Juno is definitely a great little machine. They do an excellent job of replicating the tone of the original DeArmond gold foils

I thought I'd be hesitant about a guitar that only has a volume knob and pickup selector switch, but the Push/Pull control really dials in a sweet tone!

Youhouuu DP, besides being a super guitar player and gear monster, your skills and musicality comes out so clearly when you do your loops. So spot on the way you create. Since request are a Thing in your channel, can you do another loop “training” video? Using your Ditto. Also, please show us your guitar collection and the story’s behind them beauties. Hi, Pete. Love that rose finish! Saw it in person on a Harmony rebel and really loved it. I assume the Juno is a little neck heavy. Does that bother you at all? those gold foil pups are amazing. put a set of single coils in a strat and it is my favorite sounding guitar by far.

Hey Pete, Late to the party here. Ive been looking for a little inspiration and have narrowed my choices to a Harmony Jupiter and either a Rivolta P90 Combata or the Mondo Mondota. I know you have played them all and was curious on your thoughts. The Rivoltas seem more interesting looking, but something about the simplicity and quality of the Harmony is intriguing. Just bedroom playing and gonna replace a Nash Strat. Glad to find your channel in addition to the Andertons.

Eastwood Guitars still makes some of the old Harmony designs branded as Airline. They make a very similar model to this called the Airline H44

Really nice! I actually almost bought one of these in champagne from sweetwater. I just couldn’t do it because I’ve literally never played one before. I have a really old harmony acoustic my dad passed down to me
Always good to try if you can. They are great guitars, but also different so good idea to try them of you can.
Beautiful guitar and playing. Very affordable for an American guitar too. Even Americans think of American guitars as a bit out of reach most of the time.

Hi, just seen this and thank you. One question though… you say the fingerboard is ebony but it doesn’t look anything like ebony, more Indo Laurel or whatever they call the new stuff. Every ebony board I’ve ever had has been dark to black. Can you explain plse? Subbed (Australia)

That little thing has the potential to push a lot of guitars behind it on the play rotation. Unique style, yet comfortable and expected tones.
I likely would not use the pull switch, as i am not a fan of the under a mountain of pillows tone.
