Picked up one of these yesterday.... Wow! Really impressed! Sounds and feels fantastic!
I've had one of these for a few months now and it has quickly become my favorite guitar. Amazing quality and value, imo.
RIGHT??? Love LOVE mine.
I actually already own two Harmony guitars and I bought them new. I own a Harmony Silhouette 2020, and a Harmony Jupiter 2019. Both have ebony fret-boards. So I am very disappointed they stopped using the ebony, and it is the actual reason why I have not bought the Thin-line model. Both my Harmony guitars have hand written serial numbers. The specs are actually outrageously good. I would say as a whole your review/presentation does not do the brand justice felt very incomlete...just my opinion, perhaps I feel this way because I own two of them are they are so good. I suggest; buy one no matter what...it is NOT a redundant model to add to any other guitars you may already own, and I myself already own a Gibson Standard, an Gibson SG61 reissue, Gibson LP Junior and pro II Fenders (Tele and Strat). Harmony guitars sound absolutely great. The sound of them is actually their best feature, even though the quality of Harmony guitars speak for themselves alone. The tone is like finding a bucket of gold for the taking lying on the sidewalk. Their quality and workmanship is way better than Gibson, by far. Not even close actually.
Someday I will be at Alamo, thx for the great content as always 👊🏻👽
Incredible guitar wow the value! Mono bag, locking tuners, and bone nut! Daaannng!
I picked up a Silhouette recently at a store and fell in love. High on my wishlist.
I hope your wish comes true!
Loving mine. I got the pearl white and put a Bigsby on, and it's a killer.
I owned one of non-thinline Harmony Jupiters for a few months a while back. Even though it was ultimately not for me, the build quality was amazing for the price. I think if I went back for one in the future it would be the Silhouette for the mini-HBs and offset body.
The pickups sound fantastic! Great articulation and string separation. Wonder if they are mini-humbuckers or some Firebird-like design. I was looking at some Les Paul’s, SGs, and PRS CEs but I guess I’ll have to put one of these Harmony guitars on my G.A.S. list for now or later, but definitely sometime soon😅.
Have a Silhouette, the Jupiter Thinline will be next. Wonderful guitars.
Sounds good
Sweet guitar and sweet picking. I just wish it had separate tone and volume control so you could do that middle pickup blending thing.
Unicorns DO exist... and they're called (the relaunched) Harmony guitars. I have both this Jupiter and a Silhouette and I will NEVER give them up - 2 of the best guitars I've ever had (among Gibs, Fenders, Rics, Gretsch, etc). As stated, flawless fit and finish, tasty tone, and the nicest neck profile I could ever hope for (whew, alliteration nailed), and American made in the coolest shop on the planet - all scraping by at LOW 4 figures! I know that last part's subjective, but seriously, if C shape is your thing, and JUST this side of girthy, then whoooweee you're in fer a treat. Chris is right about the color - think pearl white, but... black. The metal flake reflects back ambient colors and is abso mesmerizing. I don't gig, but I can just imagine it's glorious under stage lighting. Got it as a substitute for a Gretsch George DuoJet cuz I couldn't get around that neck shape, and I don’t know if it's the shape, color scheme, that silvery-grey guard, the headstock shape, or the tones, but it totally has Gretsch vibes - and there can be no higher praise than that.
Yo Yo! With MONO Case, baby ❤️ ❤️
Yeah boy ✌🏻🎸gold foils
How about Rudolph and Vixon? 🎸
Cooper: you can play a $70 guitar and make it sound like a $4,000 guitar. If you threw a random price out someone would pay it after you jammed lol. All a compliment 😊
This is the reason why one day i need to go into a guitar store tell them my budget and get them to blind fold me and give me guitars to play so I am not biased to the looks which I am not a fan of with this guitar but I would be sold solely on it's tone.
I HAVE ONE OF THESE AND YOU'RE DEFINITELY RIGHT IT'S NOT YOUR GRANDFATHERS HARMONY. IT COULD QUITE POSSIBLY BE YOUR GRANDMOTHERS !
Wrong...oh sooo...so...wrong.
I'm surprised they brought back the Harmony name as a USA made product. I have a Harmony mandolin that I bought in 1978 that was made in Japan and not a good quality instrument. I would have thought the Harmony name would have been put on an imported instrument today. (edited) Had I watched the entire video, they mention this...
Totally different guitar now.
The guitar is interestingly specced, but when you say it compares favourabl to Fender's pricing for US made: the performers are $1449. Given the Fender brand premium compared to Harmony, I'd have to disagree about how favourably this compares.
I think a more direct competitor for this would be somthing like the Godin Radiator. And this doesn't compare favourably there either, unless you're crazy for a nitro finish.
You're forgetting who is making these. The quality for the price is on point.
Almost perfect, they need rolled fretboard edges.
The fretboards on the two I own are perfect.
$1499.??? Are you kidding me,,,,,OMG
The Harmony guitar company died years ago. Re-emerging and prostituting the name means nothing to me.
It's just a guitar, man.
@@stevewilliams846 It’s marketing, man…
@tmo7734 - No insult here, but you could not be more wrong. Just advice best to take on this one anyway. Fantastic guitars
@@starmarker531 Glad you are enjoying your guitars.
