    I love the way these guitars sound! Almost like PAFs with extra brightness. These have been designed by people who know their shit.
    Ebony boards, small dot inlays, two controls, tele bridge (without annoying ash tray bit) bolt on neck.
    Just love everything about these. The semi hollow is incredible too!

    I do like everything I see here about the Jupiter and I do like that it is lighter and with a shorter scale than my tele. It’s a lot of money to part with though so I’ll do what I always do with a guitar that I want but don’t really need, I will attempt to distract myself from it and see if the temptation subsides.

    "saving the best till last" - I don't think so.
    Last week I bought a Harmony Jupiter Thinline from Andertons and it must surely be the most impressive of the Harmony stable. I have had many expensive underwhelming guitars over a long period of time but this Jupiter Thinline is just a joy for not a lot of money.
    I hope the boys will have time to review this guitar in the near future.

    As much as I find the old Danelectro & Harmony - made Silvertones to be interesting pieces of music history, I believe that the reissues are much better made, in every regard. Proper woods & modern features while keeping the vintage aesthetics of the originals, sold at an affordable price.

    Great video as usual boys, love them all. How about in your amp setup have a solid state amp also, like a Katana head 100. I know you love your valves, but good quality solid states would be nice. I own valve amps but I also have a Trace Elliot SuperTramp Reverb that I bought in 1998, all British made with Celestine Vintage 30’s in it. It sounds as good as my valve amps (Marshall, Peavey). Still going strong as you would hope. Again great video and they sound a great option Harmony guitars.

    • @CarlyonProduction
      @CarlyonProduction 2 роки тому

      I dont see why they would choose solid state amps over valve amps. Whilst there are some solid state amps that can sound reasonably good, they are nowhere near as good for guitars as a well designed valve amp. If clean is your thing, there are valve amps that do it better.

      @@DrunkenRhinoceros shocking in today's age that you expect a resurrected brand that's 3 years old to have a roster of household named artists and you don't feel confident using your own ears and hands to decide whether it's a good guitar, you need the buyers affirmation that they bribed a musician with a paid endorsement to tell you whether to like it.

    I had a harmony acoustic as my first beginner guitar, that thing was so crappy. Im grateful for it just because I was able to learn on it but I'll never touch another Harmony again. I'm honestly shocked that Harmony is charging this much for one of their guitars now. I expected maybe 200 or 250 for one of these max.
