    My sensors blew through the connector and boy it blew alotta oil out had to stop and tow it home.. hope you fixed it before going home or at least made it home safely

    Good story! In 2003 like you said the dinging goes through the speaker and the radio. That's why you have to add a chime box if you go aftermarket.

      4 hours was just with the bell dinging. It was an 8 hour trip

      Thanks Randy, my happy place is in the OBX. Great people and few NY'ers. I'm there every almost every summer with my large family and cousins from Virginia, we usually have 2 or 3 houses in a row.

    You just may have helped me with my same issue ...I'll come back and let you know if it fixes the problem..in my case I installed a new fuel pump in my 08 tahoe ...so ima check the fuel tank pressure sensor..since you said it's part of the same 5 volt circuit..

    How was the trip home and was the switch in fact the problem?

      Ran flawlessly all the way home, switch was the problem. Replaced and no issues.

    Hmmm.very interesting.ok.so im.having this same problem.driving me ape shit.i can hear my throttle positoning sencor clicking.i think it may be malfunctionong.but you narrowed it down for sure.theres a few it could be.im glad u found urs.im about to get on mine.its undriveable.

      You first need ti find what may be dropping your 5V reference. Thanks the hardest part

      @@AxlesGarage after 6 mo i finaly found the problem.2 days augo.un freakin beleiveable.i can not beleive the culprit i found caused my truck to run like death.ive been inside & out of these vortec motors.this ine threw me off i still cant beleive what i found fixed it.it now runs better than it did when i bought the truck 8 yrs augo
