I know we were looking at this sweet Hinderer/ KA-BAR collaboration, but Dawson knives had some nice choices if you were just looking for a nice fixed blade. I should say I've never bought a Dawson, but they look really nice in every way to me. Not cheap, but definitely not this price. Take Care!
I just checked - it is on the bolster, right between the screws & where the bolster meets the micarta. Pretty much in line with my index finger when gripping. Hope this helps!

Does someone know where is the balance point on this blade? Very important for a fighting knife.
