Whenever I watch a car reviewer reviews China made cars with fully loaded specs and good performance(on paper) at such a significantly lower pricing, I begin to wonder have we been scammed by the other carmakers all these years. I really don’t feel like buying anymore. Feel cheated😅
its like you go restaurant to eat compare to cook yourself, surely more expensive right? shipping cost, setup factory to put it together, distributor wanna make money,, salesman saleswoman wanna make money it all adds up cant just compare how much sold there
@@lcwpg but if you put premium conti brand on this car I can guarantee you it will be priced no less than RM300k and they are CKDs example Merc or BMW, so shipping isn’t a factor.
other car makers have taken us for a ride for far too long. 1st our Kuda gave us the inferior Proton and then he jacked up all prices from Japan. Now that China is getting a car done 100% using own supply chains and this is why other countries just cant compete with them anymore. If not bcos of our own 'automotive industry' protection, I think china car prices could even go lower.
@@fixxzitt dont forget govt also take a piece of the pie even its ckd..everyone wanna make money off you and me so nothing is ever cheap anymore still though this is alot of car for the money, but china brand well if cant accept then buying overprice japanese cars the only way for many
I really like this car from your preview. I have a budget around 180k. I hope I can get it within my budget. The questions I like to ask that others are not are potential resale value, warranty and free services, availability to cheap spare parts vs the Japanese ones, dependability of the engine. NVH, dependabiltiy and reliability, as well as fuel economy (especially we know RON95 is going up, so it would help if they have a PHEV or Hybrid model) are also extremely important to me. Was going for the CRV but now I think will wait for the test drive of this car.
Omoda surely has up the game from the original Omoda, the interior seats look posh and very comfortable as you have commented, look forward to your review on the drive and handling. Nice preliminary review.
The kind of review im looking for. So many revicallare just half arsed did not even cover the full thing. Especially that b-pillar mounted aircond ive only seem it on this channel and not others
This is amazing value. However, we have yet to know how well these Chinese cars hold up over 10 years. There's good reason why Harriers and Lexus older than 10 years are still running around in good condition. Of they're still running after many years, will these Chinese cars age like Toyotas or like Peroduas/Protons, I wonder?
Chinese car sell you cheap cheap expect you to change car after 3-5 years😂 like their handphone industry.. cos the money you save from 1st purchase can buy the next new car .. it's a cycle that continues to make profits and sustainable ongoing business 😂
use old engines old gearbox just low tech, low horsepower anything would last lol once toyota push hp their engine explodes..just google exploding gr yaris and gr corolla engines lol
At first i thought that u are Pep Guardiola.. And i was like, what are u doing? Dont u have to coaching your players? But then i realize that Harith Iskandar already slim.......
Wide open your eyes and be a wise consumer everyone. There's always a reason why China afford to sell it in cheap price but not others, advise to read more news about what's really happening in china's car industry.
Correct me if I'm wrong. China products are good with just fabrication but quality wise very questionable. Many China's brand just entered Malaysia recently and we still do not have enough data and credibility to back their durability. Somehow I wish everything of this Omoda C9 is made by Toyota.
They just entered malaysia this year, but you may check out their history, they are well known in russia ,saudi and etc. maybe you could get more data or information there😊
@@Bringmedejuice every car maker have their own pros and cons. Some china car maker can make some good product. I think chery is one of them . Since they are the only one who can fully build their own drivetrain. For my pov, i would give it a try on the chery.

Definitely a NO for resale value. This car once you bought, either have it till end of service, or sell for a very high depreciation values

Should be C.
yup, this is the same segment as harrier
i wonder who's transmission are they using. 8 speed transverse transmission, if its aisin then i'll bet my money on this car.
