- What a whirlwind of a week!
My #thinkpink box arrived on Wednesday but I have been so busy I’ve only managed to get to it today! Better late than never though and I was not disappointed (which I never feared anyway!)

I had a birthday during the week and excitedly I have graduated into the #sewover50 hastag and I am loving it! A big special thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday, I had a wonderful day and family dinner. For me that was the perfect celebration 😊
You may have heard that I and three other wonderful Aussie sewing vloggers are hosting the Sew Autumn Denim challenge over on Instagram. I have to admit that those ladies are carrying the weight of the challenge as I have been non stop all this first half of the year…. I’ve just realised we are almost half way through 2024…. Where has that time gone!
My toile of the Masion Fauve Pilar Jacket is now complete and I will be starting the white denim version asap to have it complete by the end of the month. It is a lovely sew and comes together beautifully.

You won’t believe it Kerry, I’m currently on a train in the UK! I came over for the grand opening of the BTPD shop! I’ve been here a week today in fact and fly home Tuesday. Then I’ll be buried in the sewing room to finish my white denim Pilar jacket!! I do like to make my life challenging!
