PLEASE READ: Like everyone else, we are very concerned about the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. We have suspended all travels until at least late-June. However, we have decided to continue to publish videos as usual because luckily, within the past twelve months, we were able to record a lot more videos than we were able to publish. This means we will publish some older Tripreports we weren't yet able to cut and upload. And we have enough of them to continue to publish three Tripreports per week for the foreseeable future! We ask for your apology for having to upload some older videos which are not necessarily up-to-date. As always, you can see when a video was recorded in the description. Thank you for your understanding. We wish everyone, especially those working in the aviation and travel industry, a lot of strength in this difficult time. Remember to wash your hands and stay safe! Thank you for this! I have lived in Brunei in the early 90s and used to fly a lot in that time. Back in the days they had a fleet of 757's and 767's and the very distinctive yellow livery. We called them the flying bananas. Although things have changed it brings back a lot of memories. Glad to see Royal Brunei seems to be doing well nowadays.
That was an interesting jetbridge with the jungle scene. There are a few reports of Royal Brunei I've seen and the airline seems really nice. Nice video.
Compared to short economy flights in the US, this one was above average in many ways. Good legroom, good IFE (with free headphones, not earbuds), and an impressive meal.
As a regular visitor to KL and the airport like you I love the models of the aircraft of the airlines that actually fly into KLIA... it is a nice touch. ! Thanks as always Felix. This airline is very popular here in Australia due to very good Business Class fares especially to London. They are a "dry" airline as decreed by the Sultan of Brunei...however they will provide you with Tonic water if you feel like a G and T from your duty free. The only down side of flying with them is the size of the fleet. Friends were due to fly home via Brunei from London on the Dream liner....however it had a problem after landing in London and they were stranded there for 3 days until the problem was fixed and Royal Brunei did little to help them cover the extra cost of a hotel and meals etc. But for you a good flight !! Thanks again mate !!
Wow RB= "telefon bimbit BOLEH DIGUNAKAN SEKARANG" (while still in flight) MAS / Air Asia = "telefon BIMBIT boleh digunakan SETELAH BERADA DI BANGUNAN TERMINAL" Anyway good video and report👍 Regards from Sarawak👋
@@Mario-kz8sd Brunei people got free healthcare, free education, no income tax, subsidize electric and water supply, subsidize oil... thats pretty humane for me... The only thing that democrazy "human rights" country can give to their people is a free speech which really is a time wasting...
Not gonna lie..Even though I live in Malaysia..I missed KLIA sooo much...Like everytime I transit there from Alor Setar to somewhere else..I often go to Anjung Tinjau to watch planes take off and landing..So comfortable there..
Fyi, 12:45 - 12:57 The Green and white hangars is where the Sultan of Brunei parks his 787, 747 and all his private aircraft. If your lucky, you might see them doing touch and go’s or even parked outside. :D
Thanks for this nice report. I was for work several times in Brunei and except one time I was always going with Royal Brunei. They offer a really good service in Business Class. Sadly in 2022 it was my last trip to Brunei and I have daubts if I will go there in the future again. 11:03 This is Tutong, there I was living always.
I dont know if its only because of the recordinga audio, but i love the sound of the engines. They are not as loud as older airbus a320, but they are still magic for me
I flew the London to Dubai leg on this airline and I have to say its really good Airline. Enjoyed every minute of the 7 hours flight to Dubai. Hope to fly with Brunei Airlines again in the future..
Last year I flew with Royal Brunei on Surabaya-Bandar Seri Begawan-Tokyo round-trip route. It was quite good flight and service. I was expecting that Royal Brunei would use B787 to flew from Brunei to Tokyo. But, Royal Brunei were using A320 and I thought A320 were only used in short-medium range flight.
Looks like a wonderful experience with Royal Brunei. The IFE was very modern, even better than IFE on some widebodies. I have to try them in the future
May 30th 2023, only now seeing this for the first time lol. Feb 2020, I was there, last trip before Brunei closed its borders due to the virus. Keep looking to see if I could see myself but alas lol. Made this trip so many time over the last 20 years. Only just returned from KL after a gap of 3 years, probably on the same aircraft lol. Those A320 neos are so spacious and so quiet! Great service and food on RBA too. Not the cheapest but very good value.
I had also go on this airport the when you show the airport I remember my all this my old memories of 2017 my journey was to Mumbai to Malaysia the plane has 6 to 7 hours holt our fainal destination to Australia🇦🇺 flying by Malaysia Airlines thank you🙏💕 for this old memories
I really miss to go to KLIA because I got only once in my life time and Malaysia is my country where I live I usually fly with AirAsia and AirAsia operates at KLIA2
What an awesome meal for such a short flight. It's ridiculous how US carriers give you 3 pretzels and 2 chips for a 6 hour transcontinental flight :/ Thanks for the report, awesome!
US carriers suck big time. They can easily afford good food but they're greedy bastards. United sells $13 sandwiches, horrible food, on flights more than 3 hrs. Go to Monoprix food stores in Paris, $3 worlds best baguette bread and unsweetened butter + tuna or ham etc. Air France has awesome snacks for inexpensive flights.

Simply Aviation Cringe but true
I am italian....in italy there are sadly much cases of COVID-19
Simply Aviation why? You let cancelled to your flight at next month june😥
I like all your trip review. Thanks.
Ok
A hot meal and an IFE on such a short flight! That’s why I love these Asian carriers ☺️
Awh! Thanks for your support!
It’s used on 6/7 hour flights so like.
That was more than 2 hours😏
But not AirAsia!
Yeah MAS too is a wonderful airline

Nooo i kinda miss travelling
Yeah
One of the best airlines in Southeast Asia but is too underrated. Glad to see your clip on this beautiful gem! 😀
Wow, a meal for a 2 hr flight. Royal Brunei is a neat little airline.
Welcome to non-European/American economy
Skylight that bull shit airfrance European compagny when I was economicy class they give food for short flight
Stylight how about Turkish that gives meals on any flight get ur facts right sir ;)
In malaysia, we can even get a meal on a 50 min flight
It can be a jarring contrast travelling to the US with most Asian airlines and transferring to domestic (never mind the airports).
4:41 Ι can't believe that they have IFE. I learn a lot about aviation while I watch your videos. Love your channel!
Kk

Loving Royal Brunei through this video . Wish this pandemic goes and can travel to different places , who all expects this like it
Love it toooo !
thanks for the love

IKR! Such a beautiful chime!
12:20: You can see that they touched down very left of the centre line, as the plane returns back to the middle afterwards.
IFE and good hot meal service on a two hour economy flight. Impressive stuff from Royal Brunei 🇧🇳
Felix covering the whole earth.
4:01 u see an Etihad’s new ‘GREENLINER’ 🤯👍🏻👇🏻 please like simply aviation
ive actually been on Royal Brunei on their long haul flights in a 787 and I have to say its an amazing airline
Great report. I always like to see the flight reports of the rear airlines! Keep up the good work.✈️
Really this airport is Awesome Well Decorated. Wow
This is the first report of Royal Brunei I have seen on the Airline Reviews
Great Review
3:02 Yea this Jetbridge is really cool
1:30 i've stood in that exact spot multiple times!
Klia looks very nice ...proud as Malaysian
Despite the nice service, its weird no one commented on the landing. Clearly, it was way off the centerline and slightly a long landing lol
A320 or B737 usually have a hard landing so it was normal
I dont know if its only because of the recordinga audio, but i love the sound of the engines. They are not as loud as older airbus a320, but they are still magic for me

Kimon Mac Con Uladh I agree! Whoever dislikes the video is probably jealous of the travels that Simply Aviation do.
The air bridge is so nice. Thanks for sharing this informative video.
I was very impressed by the highways system of Brunei it’s so modern.
What a fascinating jet bridge have a nice journey

Thinking of flying with these from London to Dubai later this year. They seem a good airline. How have other people's experience with them been?
service and food is as good as you can find anywhere. They use the Dreamliner for the long-haul flights, good legroom.
What flight did you use to connect to Royal Brunei???? Please answer me!!
