I love RB .It is very good airline, they look after their passengers. Few years ago our flight was canceled and they put all passengers at the Hilton Hotel in London. When we arrived at Brunei there was tea and coffee and toasts for passengers. I was very impressed with the way they handled the situation. I go every year to Europe and I always fly with RB.
I flew Melbourne Heathrow return earlier this year. Business class with flat bed. Food was exquisite the most wonderful experience ever. By far the best Airline to fly with. Economy my first flight with Royal Brunei Airlines surpassed any other airline by a mile. My first choice of Airline. Thank you Royal Brunei
My very first flight when I was 9 years old was with Royal Brunei from Heathrow to Brisbane Australia. These were the days you could smoke on a plane about 21 years ago. I remember the prayer on a big screen in the middle of the cabin wall and also the crew was so lovely. They could not do enough for me and my brother offering us drinks and cup noodles all the time and also trying to keep us entertained. It's great to see 21 years ago they still give the same service now and would really love to fly them again.
I'm a simple Malaysian, whenever I see any airlines of the 3 siblings countries (Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore)... I will click like as fast as lightning.
We have just travelled manilla via BSB and can only agree with your review. Attentive and genuinely friendly staff Well equipped aircraft Also an error was made with our connecting flights we were placed in a lovely hotel in BSB for 24 hours all expenses paid Highly impressed 🇧🇳

I think that 'hot-drinks-after-meal' thing is a Bruneian habit. We're so used to having water or cordial drinks when we have our meal and only end it with tea and coffee, which most people usually skip. 😄
Yeap. That's what I was going to say. It's a culture thing. I usually drink water during eating and ends it with hot coffee/tea after meal. Except during afternoon high-tea with light foods.
I love royal brunei as well I flew them from Melbourne to London via BWN and DXB Crew was awesome food was amazing We were late but they gave us free food for the food area down the back of the airport which also had amazing food
Hello josh, I flew on this route last December. Everything was good no bad comments about the service at all. The highlight of the flight was the landing love it very much.
3:32 Thanks for reminding about Sri Lankan airlines. I’m from Sri Lanka and your review on Sri Lankan airlines business class was the point I started watching your videos and still is. Good content and honest reviews than Sam Chui. Keep the job up
I don't do dry airlines however Royal Brunei's approach of being happy for you to bring your own onboard is a brilliant approach both respecting their religious aspect and mine as a customer so i'd happily fly them. The soft and hard product look good and i've had much worse duvets in F on LH! Even the guy across the aisle, who had headphones on, turned to look at that guy making the gross noises behind you but OMFG that phrase about dog balls cracked me up,
I once flew RB from FRA to AKL via BKK and BNE and back. On my first flight I was a bit astonished about the prayer before take-off, but every after it made me feel so safe, loved it. Flew in Y-Class and the crew on each and every flight was very caring. Hate to fly night flights but had no jet lag at all despite the long journey. Thanks for posting this video, Josh.
RBA is my favorite airline due to i live in East Malaysia, Start from Melbourne then BWN( 6H45Mins), transit time 2H then connect flight to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (35 Mins flight), before they have this connection i usually get Malaysia, so took me MEL to KL 7H45Mins then transit 1:30 Mins then connect to my destination another 2H25Mins. I never regrets flying RBA even i am only Economic class Food is great even on Economic.
In the Asiana 767 economy class review you asked which Asian economy class you wanted us to be reviewed. I asked for the Royal Brunei A320neo. Now you did the Business Class damnit! :-p Oh well, close enough. Very interesting hard product that suits a 5 to 6 hours flight pretty well. On 7+ hours you might prefer the Dreamliner. The soft product is something you'll never have to worry about when you fly RBA. About the comment on the IFE screens: I've seen a few reports on the Royal Brunei 787 economy class and those screens seemed very responsive. Maybe you just got unlucky with yours. Other than that: Great report as always and thank you for flying Royal Brunei Airlines :-)
I would like to ride this A320neo but I have experienced the B787 dreamliner in Economy class. I'm completely impressed with the service & there's so many things that I'm really impressed about! 🌟
Great review. EVA AIR Business Class serves 12 different tea options ☕:-) , or they used to. "I'm having a Chamomile tea because I'm getting very old" 😂 I drink Chamomile tea everyday, nice with honey too. Safe Travels.
Great review. Loved flying A320neo earlier this year and look forward to flying BI in the future. Seems to be a great product overall love the selection of tea
I'm happy you enjoyed RB. I'm bruneian and I've never been to the sky lounge hahaha. Anyway I found your channel when I saw the video regarding Malaysia Airlines. Agreed that Air Asia is better however Malaysians, like bruneians, are very friendly. So usually its down to the crew. Hope you visit Brunei again in future!
Uncle Josh !! Funny stuff mate !! Well done as always. Royal Brunei have a pretty solid following here in Australia as their Business Class fares to London are excellent value. Being a dry airline doesn't bother me but friends have done the flight with the BYO option and found the staff were fantastic in serving them a "mixer" such as Tonic or a Coca Cola. The only down side I hear about are delays if your aircraft is grounded with a technical issue. With such a small fleet ( 15 in total) you can run the risk of a lengthy delay getting from Point A to Point B...none the less they look like a great way to travel and are excellent value for money in Business Class !! Looking forward to our next trip !!
HI Josh, I've heard from others that sometimes your premium travel experience differs due to your dress code. Have you encountered a different behavior from the flight staff? In your videos you are generally in casual and comfortable clothes, (my preference especially for long flights).
What a coincidence, I have been watching your videos and enjoying your work Josh. And I was about to comment that do a review on Royal Brunei. I’ve been in this airline twice and I must say its a very nice and a decent airline ..
Thank you josh for reviewing the royal brunei airline for the second time this year. I'm so proud of you josh. We apologize for the error of the word from the RB crew. Your truly Fan From Brunei !!😎😎

Great video -- your comments on the passenger behind you was hilarious :) I recently flew on RB's economy class from Kuala Lumpur to Brunei in an A320 (not neo though). The economy section was nice, with PTVs and great service, but when you showed the economy class in your video, there is a metal bar underneath the tray table and that hits exactly at your knee so it makes it somewhat uncomfortable. Other than that, a great service
Josh ......where the first meal supper on board? I wanted to see also the 1st dinner supper meal.....I like the poached eggs on board......like making it through electric boiler.......fresh poached eggs on board...........I had been with RB before to Frankfurt, Germany flight way back years before from SUB to FRA to SUB via BKK and also via Abu Dhabi and via Dubai
Glad to see they have improved the biz lounge, although it was quite a few years ago that I last used it. Yes prayers before take off and presumably still no grog. (Took you until 07:30 to mention that Sam :-))

Why I feel like Royal Brunei Business class seat is very smaller than the other airlines. Honestly, It’s look like Economy seats of Singapore Airlines more than Business seat.
Glad to see the traditional turbulence appear when you got your food. It is so disgusting when people “Pull the slime from their testicles” when people are trying to eat around them. Seriously, what are they thinking when they do that? Regarding the flight, I don’t think I’d be seeking out a narrowbody aircraft even in business class on a six hour flight.
