When I hear Kelty, I immediately think camping (they make some great backpacks and tents). This would be a great addition to a backpacking setup for additional (quick access) gear. I have a chest pouch that I've strapped/buckled to the front of my backpack for quick access gear, but while it works perfectly for MY use case, it wouldn't be wide enough to carry your camera and tripod. Great video!!

Great presentation! Fantastic price for this bag. I think it would be very useful, but it would have to be packed lightly/not overfilled.
