7 Steps to Prevent Hairline Receding
Going ahead, Dr John Watts tells viewers about 7 steps by which they can prevent fast receding hairline from exposing their baldness.
Massage:
In the first step, Dr John Watts advises viewers to use coconut oil or almond oil for a gentle massaging on the hairline region of the scalp. “This step helps in ensuring adequate blood supply to the hair roots,” he says. Vitamins for Hair Growth:
He advises the viewers to go for diagnosis of any vitamin deficiency especially B12, vitamin D and Biotin as they play an important role in hair growth. If they are found to be deficient in these vitamins, he suggests that they consult an expert and continue the prescribed medication.
Protein Rich Diet:
The third step advocated by Dr John Watts includes going in for a protein-rich diet, which help in hair growth.
Lemon Juice Application:
This is a home-based remedy that one can try. He advises viewers to apply lemon juice and gently massage the scalp for 15 minutes before rinsing it off with shampoo. “This technique will also help in arresting receding hairline if used regularly,” he says.
Caffeine Application:
The use of caffeine on the scalp is another preventive remedy that Dr John Watts advocates using to prevent a receding hairline. The home remedy comprises using a mix of coffee powder (two spoonfuls) with a spoonful of honey and two spoonfuls of olive oil.
“Make them into a paste and apply them on the scalp as a hair mask for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with shampoo. This also works,” he informs.
Egg Yolk Application:
Using protein-rich egg yolk, Dr John Watts says that its application on the scalp may help stop hair breakage. “The peptides in the yolk can repair hair,” he says while suggesting that users need to apply this home remedy on their scalp for 1 hour before rinsing it off with shampoo for maximum benefits.
Minoxidil solution:
The best remedy to prevent premature hairline receding is said to be the application of minoxidil solution in the affected region. “The ideal dosage could be 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml in the evening. This needs to be massaged on the hairline region before rinsing it off with water,” he suggests.
The advantage of using minoxidil solution is said to ensure improving blood supply to the hair roots, thereby preventing hairline receding.
While concluding the educational video, Dr John Watts urges the viewers to share the video among their friends for awareness, especially with those who are experiencing hairline receding issues.
“If none of the above remedies work and baldness continues, then the last option is to go for a hair transplant surgery,” he concludes.
