Shiny chespin went into your dex because you quick caught the other ones, only normal catches go into dex if you didn’t have it dexed before
Well I learned something new. I rarely ever quick catch anything. And definitely never tried it with a new one.
Naw shiny dex entries don’t count anymore since they created the shiny dex
You can see it when he does his megas in recent vids. They never show as shiny in the dex unless you have the shiny selected
As somebody who has pretty bad social anxiety, I really respect what you do in your videos, nothing seems to stop you haha. From an entertainment standpoint you really are a natural too

If you were quick catching all the other Chespin, but not the shiny one, then the shiny one gets the dex entry. I've had it happen a few times.

The shiny chespim is a Pokédex entry because if you speed catch it it won’t count to the Pokédex
This was such a cool video becuase I’ve been to Honolulu twice and both times I played a lot of Pokémon Go, especially in 2021 when I went, and I think I’ve been to some of the places shown in this video. If the mall is the same one I went to then that’s where I caught my shiny Regirock. Also Chespin is one of my favorite Pokémon so that’s cool too. Definitely up there for one of my favorite videos on the channel.

Brandon, if you quick catch, you don't get the dex entry screen. That's why you got the dex entry screen for the shiny Chespin, because it's the first one you slow caught.

The best part for me was seeing you raid Reshiram with 500 CP Pokemon. You had trouble catching bc you didn't have the platinum medal bonus.

nope, you're wrong. Shiny pokedex doesn't have that animation. It was most likely due to the fact that he quick caught the other chespin and that this was his first normal catch.

This is a pretty unique challenge, i really like this idea.
If you quick capture a new Pokémon it doesn't register into the Pokédex until you go through the xp scene
The pokedex just updated to show kyurem with the white form and the black form
I must be an absolute Pokémon Go LEGEND for being able to keep up with Mystic BUT in an urban area.
He has several HUGE advantages over me in the game but I guess I’m just a PoGo badass 😏.

Prior to Sinnoh tour 2024, all form Rotom possible to be debut during Pokemon Festival 2023. If come to situation like Unknown, it may be not all Rotom form can be shiny during Sinnoh tour.
I was at Ala Moana for this community day. Too bad I didn't see you. Fyi, Ala Moana is considered the best grind spot in Honolulu on foot and that is shaded. I know 2 other grind spots better than Ala Moana, but those are a secret, lol.

Just to mention that if you use quick catching trick to catch a new pokemon in an account it won't be registered to the Pokedex, but when you catch the same type of Pokemon without using quick catching it will be registered and then it's when you will get the XP for the first ever catching for that Pokemon. Experience from my Pokemon Go account. Wish you the best!!!

Next time you do this, you should have only give yourself 1 hour at the beginning and award yourself 1 more hour for every task completed (maybe have 2 hours rewarded for difficult ones like catching a hundo or nundo). Then you play until you win or run out of time.

Mystic, the reason that the shiny chespin was Dex was because it’s the only one you didn’t quick catch. Quick catching doesn’t count for the sec for some reason 🤷♂️

im pretty sure the reason it said registered to pokedex for your shiny is cause you quick catched all the chespins and they dont add to the pokedex

when I first created my account back in 2021, the first ever Pokémon I ever caught was a 100% IV chimchar. I’ve always wondered, how rare actually is this?
Prior to Sinnoh tour all Gen 4 Pokemon are debuted hence Pokemon Festival 2023 Manaphy and Phione expected to be debut then Gloomy will be raid level one and can be shiny.
Evolve Sliggoo to Goodra need water lure module and both mythical Pokemon Phione and Manaphy are water type ultimately make sense, this is day one.
On day two, always focus on raid, this time can be elite raid Arceus expected to be raid boss, starting at Normal type. Extra money ticket will charge since more one mythical Pokemon is obtainable?
Come Sinnoh tour, we can obtain three shiny non raid mythical Pokemon Shaymin, Manaphy and Phione, triple shiny mythical Pokemon.
