Abdul Qadir R.I.P. Magician who could spin a ball that came back to him. It's nice that he didn't speak English or mix with Urdu. I cant believe he is not alive
Such a pleasure to see the camaraderie between two alltime greats in their respective areas. The little master Sunny Gavaskar and the great Abdul Qadir RIP. Loved to see this side of him, such a humorous soul, I'm sure he will keep the angels in splits. The way he described the pitch at Faisalabad and kidded Sunny sa'ab about how he'd still be batting was inimitable. Wonderful player and fantastic raconteur. Have read all of Sunny sa'ab's books and he always speaks well of the Pakistani greats. Qadir, Zed, Javed etc.

Abdul Qadir Saab was a spinner who bowled with the aggression of a fast bowler. His son Usman Qadir has made a dazzling debut and hope will carry forward his legacy.
Qadir was being humble... It was great achievement to have batsman like Gavaskar lobed a simple catch to silly midoff on a bating pardise... Sign of completely misreading of delivery.. which obviously is very rare from master Gavaskar. I remember that delivery well ...
