You chose some good ones. I like Pure Wonder too. I worked in the health care setting, and I wore Philosophy Pure Grace and all my patients and co workers loved it. Some people don't wear deodorant and stink, yet no one says anything to them ???? Light, floral scents are best, and believe me,working in a hospital there are a lot of unpleasant odors !
PG is gorgeous but it is pretty strong 4 a fresh clean type scent. I'm surprised the hospital didn't mind that bc it is really strong not so much light.
I feel this so much! I work in health care as well and all my co workers love to comment on my scent of the day. The bad smells are definitely a motivator for me smelling great at work.
Great topic! I find Wrapped in Vanilla a great office scent. Also, Beach Nights is nice also. I think any scents with vanilla would not be too overwhelming for the office.
I miss working in an office! I used to wear Saltwater breeze, happy vibes, coastal hydrangeas, midnight swim, and almond blossom to the office all the time. I think Saltwater Breeze is great for the office!
I think if you like some of the stronger foodie, fruity, or floral scents, wearing the cream and skipping the fragrance mist is an option. The creams are less intense and are closer to your body. But, your fragrance mist recs are good ones!
I remember back in the early 2000s I was working in an office that had cubicles, and one girl on the other side of the partition from me would wear something strong and cheap smelling. It always made me sneeze and feel nauseous. One day my boss was walking by and told her she stunk lol. It was kind of rude, but also true lol.
I definitely have a shared office and my coworker doesn’t mind scents (thank goodness). However I quickly realized that a single wick candle can travel far to other offices haha
My coworkers ALWAYS tell me how good I smell. I work in a kitchen though, one of the line cooks said just last week that whatever I was wearing was amazing and he could smell it on the line. It was Wrapped in Vanilla 😍
Oh I really go back, graduated high school in 1958 and Prince Machiabelli"s Wind Song was my signature scent. Worked at Macy's in NYC 3 days after classes- my school was 2 blocks away - and this scent was the big seller at the time. Actually discovered Walmart still carries it.
I still like Windsong and wear it occasionally. It was one of my mothers favorite scents so I think I learned to love it because of her. I graduated in 1985 but I still love that fragrance.
I was Class of 90 😊 My signature scents were Tommy Girl, Polo Sport, Curve, New West, Blue Diamonds (Elizabeth Taylor line). I also loved Beautiful way back when but now I feel like it's too mature for me haha
Loves Baby Soft in middle school, and Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche in high school - yup I doused myself as well 😮😂 / Dr. Pepper Bonnie Bell lip balm and Adidas Stan Smiths were also essentials 💖😀 / People at work always say who smells so good when I wear my Coconut Mint Drop, or Hope - Winter Peach Marshmallow as well. I think Whipped Rose and Vanilla would be acceptable as well ( cause I Iove it ) , Same with Pink Lily and Bamboo. Yup Butterfly would be good too....
BBW may be feeling some type of way, I'm sure they read comments also. With that being said, maybe BBW should listen to the people that purchase the products. Lower prices! More sales! Stop changing the fragrances to no smell or not lasting. Also bring back fragrances that we really want to have back. BBW, please listen to us.
I’m much older…I graduated high school in ‘79, and one of my favorite scents from back in the day was Tatiana by Diane von Furstenberg. That scent has long been discontinued, otherwise I would probably still be wearing it! lol
I do jiu-jitsu and wear 1 spray of Almond Blossom, it's perfect even though I'm right up on people. People occasionally compliment it, and I've never had anyone dislike it at all. If it's jiu-jitsu safe, it's definitely office safe 😂 Good vid! I agree wholeheartedly with all of these (at least the ones I've tried)
😂 That Polo overspray!! 🤣 I remember some guys bathing in it! You could practically “taste” the scent if you opened your mouth to talk within their proximity!! 😝 My friends and I used to say, “If it smells like cologne . . . leave it alone!!” 🤣
I've worked in office most of my life & I've never ever heard of a no fragrance policy. Light yes but none at all, I'm not sure I would make it lol. Pink Chiffon is delightfully pretty & light & so is Pure Wonder & Hello Beautiful.
I've been wearing Pure Wonder for the last couple of weeks. I also wear Warm Vanilla Sugar, Honey Wildflower, Gingham Heart of Gold etc.. and save the heavier smells (Strawberry Pound Cake, Christmas Cookie etc) on weekends or evenings. Tfs
I find the light fruity ones are okay like Winterberry wonder and bright Christmas morning, pink lily and bamboo, beautiful day…but yah the boys always overspray! I am in a scent free policy office but I get away with scented lotion- my coworkers would not be shy about telling me lol
When I worked in a shared office space, everyone always complimented me when I wore CK1. I know that's not a Bath & Body Works scent, but if you know what CK1 smells like, you probably know why it's office friendly. #1, it's unisex. Smells great on a girl or a guy. #2, it's a light, clean, neutral pleasant fragrance. CK1 is old school (was super hot and popular in the 1990s), but I keep it in my collection. It's a great go-to when I'm gonna be close to people (doctor's visits, job interviews, etc.).
I work from home except for one day a month when I have to go to my office. I wore pumpkin pecan waffles once, and everyone who would stop by my office would say it smelles so good or what dessert I had with me lol. They were surprised to find out it was me not food 😂. I still wear it sometimes because I am in an office by myself but I try to rotate it.
Hi Bonnie, SPC like you i wear it mostly at bedtime its strong but relaxing for me. I wear Coconut Cream Pie with the matching cream in the office. I guess people like it, i get many compliments each time i wear it lol :) Another one i use is Bonfire Bash not too strong and very pleasant.
Hi Bonnie! I just discovered your channel and I am learning so much! I am starting to build a FFM collection and decided to separate them into a daytime/office or evening/perfume baskets so this video is very timely. Today I am wearing Hello Beautiful, and tomorrow I plan on wearing Beautiful Day. ❤
I work in an office 7 days a week (2 jobs). My go-to for winter are Bonfire Bash, Fireside Flurries, Snowflakes & Cashmere. For summer are Champagne Toast, Beach Nights. Then Pure Wonder & Fairytale are year round scents.
Autum Drive would probably make a nice office scent as well. I don’t go into a office anymore, but when I did I was working in pharmacies. More often than not there would be a no fragrance policy for the building. I will say there were some private pharmacies that did not have the policy, but in those establishments I usually wore something light by Philosophy. I’m sure many of the lighter Bath & Body Works FFM would have been okay too.
Fun video Bonnie! I agree with the scents you mentioned. I work in an office full of guys lol, hopefully my sweet scents aren’t too much. Sometimes I warn them lol. One of my coworkers jokingly mentioned he wanted a coffee scented lotion. I told him B&BW had one, so I got him the Coffee and Whiskey body cream with one of my rewards, he loved it 😄
Yes we need a body care sale!!!! I have been working from home for about a year now and I completely forgot about how I used to have to take other people into consideration 😂
Am I the only one who wears scents for me? 😂 I wear frosted coconut snowball, confetti daydream or watermelon lemonade if I wanna smell perfumey. Most days I wear foodie scents, like coconut creme pie, marshmallow pumpkin latte. It keeps me regulated throughout the day as I sniff. I associate them with happy memories and its my escapism from the work day. Certainly leave JCB for night, though.
You had me laughing, Bonnie-thinking back to High School days when my friends & I would wear way too much perfume! LOL! Still love my perfumes & body sprays! But, seriously, we do have to be considerate of others. Here, at home, I have to watch what I wear & can't burn my candles. Actually just packed away most of my BBW candles due to complaints of the smell(the lids are not 100 percent airtight). Another place to watch what you wear is Bingo. Our local F.Dept. just reopened Bingo 3 weeks ago. Forgot the first night. Was all excited to go & get out for a bit. Got there & saw more people on oxygen. So, no more fragrance on Bingo night. Good topic! :)
Very informative video, I love your background and stories ☺️! About? 1999- early 2000's, there was a big fad with the lime and coconut perfume, but true story- men loved the way I smelled 😄 🤣 😄haha!
Such a great video and topic Bonnie! You’re right! I wear fresh, light and airy body mist. My favorites for work are aqua kiss, velvet petals, buttercup Bellini, pure wonder, beautiful day , denim and daisies and almond blossom
Love this video! Cracks me up! I graduated in 1991, so I grew up in the 80’s with the big hair bands! 😂. My signature scent was Dior Poison!! I think that is the signature scent of the 80’s 😂 for me!!! 😂 I now wear some of the flankers .. Poison Girl and Hypnotic Poison ! So funny! ❤️. Thanks for taking us down memory lane!
I graduated same year and had the huge hair and I totally remember Dior Poison lol I don’t know if you had a Snyder’s department store near you but my friends and I used to go there and spray on all sorts of scents 😂
@@juliemudd2985, no, we didn’t have one of those near us! 😂 I live in the south in a small town and we would have to travel to a mall about 45 minutes away! Those were the best times! 😊

I love watching your channel. I come everyday just to watc the latest in Bath and bodywork. I haven't shop new collection yet, waiting until a buy 3 get 3 free.
I am a teacher, so I wear pretty much any scent to work. I worked at McDonald’s in the summer, and I got compliments when I wore Waikiki Beach Coconut.
I love Chloe! I graduated from high school in 1998. I remember buying Pear Glacé from Victoria’s Secret, all of the GAP scents, and a peach body spray from Bath and Body Works. In my 20s, I loved Ralph Lauren Blue.
Great video idea Bonnie! Years ago I used to teach preschool and I wore Sea Island Shore(cotton) all the time. I also wore warm vanilla sugar a lot. I’m a nanny now and the little girl I take care of(she’s 14 so not so little anymore) says she can smell me as she’s walking downstairs 😂😂 she says I always smell so good though 😂
Hi Bonnie! I’m 19 and in college and I love your videos!! I think it would be awesome to do a Q&A sometime. You’re such a positive soul! Happy Monday 🎉
I would love to see a video about the body mists that you think would be unisex. The mens selection is good but i like the non areosol spray that the body mists are. Thanks for the videos.
When I worked in an office I usually wore Warm Vanilla Sugar or Coconut Mint Drop; I don’t think I offended anyone. Nowadays I work from home so I wear whatever I want!
Hi Bonnie I know that you read your comments can you do a video on the heavy hitter fragrances for those of us that love strong scents that you can smell a mile AWAY ❤❤❤
The difference is people are more sensitive and offended by everything now. Also be enchanted was my favorite! There is a scent from a while back I feel is my perfect go to office scent.. London tulips and raspberry tea. It's perfect and just a charming scent.
@@jennab.8957 People really are given the right to be offended now so therefore they just are, all the time!! I was bullied by my management at one of my jobs because some girl wouldn't stop bitching about me smelling like perfume.. I stopped wearing it and still every day they would come at me.. because of my soap.. 🤔 I guess I was the only hygienic person working there! Being attacked because you smell good is certainly hilarious 🤦🏻♀️
@@taylornation320 Absolutely agree. And the folk that smell of cat pee or bio no one says a word 🙄 Being a perfume addict i've worn many scents to work like dior, mulger, Prada, kayali, VS, BBW and i've had for the most part funny looks and the odd "what that smell comment" 😂 I used to worry about it and just wear deodorant, but now i wear what the hell i want and couldn't give a crap what people think, especially when i have people that smell of cats telling me my perfume is strong 😬 The hell with it, i wear what i want!
@@tbugtbug2112 hahah its so sad how true this is.. the people I have worked with, omg.. I worked at Amazon. Labor intensive and sweaty work, sure.. I got complimented on my scent all the time so I know it's not hard to still smell good through the sweat by showering and wearing deodorant. But NOPE, not for some.. You would come down the building and legit know when this guy would skip deodorant that day. The entire half of a massive building would be kickinnn. It was BAD and no one would say anything. This happened at countless jobs. I can't believe it's okay to not remark on that disrupting people but yet come down on people for wearing a bit of perfume or in some case, literally soap.. just crazy. I'm happy you are smelling good to your hearts content . :D Luckily I'm working in my own cleaning business and people actually enjoy when i come in smelling good my your cleaners smell good and they are happy everything smells clean and fresh. ☺️
Hi Bonnie - I'm also an '88 grad! Definitely remember guys overspraying Polo in the 80s🤢 My signature scent used to be Aramis New West. I work in a library now and I've been enjoying B&B Works Whipped Rose and Vanilla; gotten lots of compliments on it and no complaints🙂
I work in HR and honestly, no scent is safe for the office. People complain about everything. I have a former boss who used to use Japanese Cherry Blossom room spray in her office…🤢
I’m going to apply to a job at the hospital working on the phones and computers they’re all pretty close by each other. I heard they have excellent medical for the people who work their and their spouses. The interview is on Thursday because they have walk in interviews every third Thursday of the month.
MOST PEOPLE ARE PAIRING THEIR BATH AND BODYWORKS FINE FRAGRANCE MIST WITH ONE OF THEIR PERFUMES SOMETIMES IT TO ES THE SCENT DOWN WHILE LASTING LONGER SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO BACK AND SPRAY MORE BUT YOU HAVE TO PAIR IT WITH THE RIGHT PERFUME
I used to wear in the Stars and if I ever started to perspire slightly the smell will overwhelm me. I was worried it was too much for my coworkers. It smelled good but too strong
I love Red Door! I would over spray it in my twenty. Unfortunately my husband doesn't not like it. so, I have not wore it much in twenty years. I still have a bottle just for the the memorys.
Hi Bonnie! Thank you so much for this video! I have been struggling so hard at work with this like I had mentioned the other day. I work at a music studio that offers private lessons… it’s me, the owner, and her sister which is the secretary. I have a private office in the back of the building …. I do have to walk by her when I come into work …. If the secretary smells anything she leaves early lol😂 I think the worst two I’ve worn in her opinion are Sweet Whisky and Snowfakes and Cashmere which I feel is light but not to her apparently lol😂 I’m making me a list of the ones you have suggested and I’m going to try one each day 😂
Scent is a no-no in most health care settings. I have severe interstitial lung disease waiting for lung transplant and allergies and I can say ALL of the fresh cotton scents, the coconut scents, laundry scents, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Sea Island shore, sharp oceanic scents really make us suffer. The coughing and shortness of breath not only make us miserable, but I have actually been hospitalized in the ICU after plane trip when someone was wearing Sea Island Shore. It can be dangerous to our health and I love scent, but am pretty much relegated to softer gourmands. You actually can develop a dislike of persons who continue to wear irritating scents. It can also vary with how I'll or severe your disease is or how I'll you currently are.
I'm with you, I'm an AVID gourmand scent lover! There are alot of smells that are hard to handle though, maybe if you carry along a mask to put on in these situations, I'm sure it would help you out until the person w the loud perfume is out of the area 😉 😀
Had a double lung transplant three years ago. I wear bath and body works at home now or just to bed if it bothers my mother. I have cystic fibrosis so I get the whole “can’t breathe from smells” thing. Now, I love it because I can actually smell it and breathe it in and not cough constantly
@@meghannpalmer7417I have CF too, waiting for transplant -- actually qualified but mentally waffling for all the reasons you considered also. Congrats to you for making the decision and getting through all of it and the commitment. Good to hear about someone doing well. You are a Shero Cyster!
I work on cars for a living, so I wear the strongest scents I can get my hands on 🤣 all the guys always tell me I smell like cookies. There's only one guy that tells me to stop spraying my "candy" perfumes so much.
I prefer smelling any of these body mists vs a heavy perfume in the office. Those powerful scents really suck the oxygen out of a space. Most all B&B are soft and pleasant.
Happy Monday night , Bonnie & everyone ! What a great review on scents to wear in the office ! I got fired from a p/t job when I was in HS because the scent was too much for the person I worked with. Really ? Let's just say I never wore that scent again. Wasn't BBW either, lol. I love your working story Bonnie. I never wear anything too strong anymore. Ty for the great review. 🤗💕💕
Bonnie, love your story! I grew up hanging out on Coventry Road. Sipping milkshakes at Tommy’s, sandwiches at the Grog Shop, searching through music at the Record Exchange and across the street at Big Fun. I worked at the Turkey Ridge Tavern. Avon Imari and Ciara perfume were my favorite scents in high school.
I have been wearing BBW to a preschool where I work. I am having to wash my hands A LOT due to germy kiddos and their body fluids (ick), so it's nice to have some good smelling soaps and a travel sized lotion within easy reach. Now of course, what I may love in terms of scents, may be hated by someone else, as that's just a real life situation, but BBW smells sure beat some of the smells my kiddos can produce. hahaha!
I’m fine with not wearing perfume/strong scents in the office, especially in places where you’re likely to share your space with others. What I like others may not, and what others like I might not. So I don’t see it as a big deal; just wear your scents lightly or when you’re not working. I enjoy wearing fragrance, but I don’t always wear them when I’m at work.
“If I had to share an office with someone who wore Berry Waffle Cone everyday … I’d quit my job.”
😂😂😂 that took me out
Yes we need a body care sale immediately.

I graduated in 89 and my signature scent was Prescriptives Calyx! Glad that scent survived all these years. 😄
I used to have some of that! 😊
It has! It does smell good. Only thing my mom of 79 has worn for years and says can’t wear florals 😂
I am a teacher, so I wear pretty much any scent to work. I worked at McDonald’s in the summer, and I got compliments when I wore Waikiki Beach Coconut.
😊💚💚💚
My male coworkers loved Champagne toast
I love Chloe! I graduated from high school in 1998. I remember buying Pear Glacé from Victoria’s Secret, all of the GAP scents, and a peach body spray from Bath and Body Works. In my 20s, I loved Ralph Lauren Blue.
😊❤️❤️❤️
Class of ‘88 here! From age 16 all through my 20’s, Estée Lauder Beautiful was my “signature scent”. Thanks for making me think of that. 😊
I used to love that scent!
That is so sweet
More videos like this, Bonnie! Maybe you can do evening scents and date night scents. 💙
Hi Bonnie! I’m 19 and in college and I love your videos!! I think it would be awesome to do a Q&A sometime. You’re such a positive soul! Happy Monday 🎉
Thank you so much! Happy Monday!
Hi Bonnie I've gotten so many compliments on Almond Blossom and You're The One, Fall In Bloom. PoLo was so strong my son absolutely loved it.
😊❤️❤️❤️
Hi Bonnie I know that you read your comments can you do a video on the heavy hitter fragrances for those of us that love strong scents that you can smell a mile AWAY ❤❤❤
I work in at a desk in medical facility, one of the rules is not to wear strong fragrances or food scents.
I LOVE COCONUT PINEAPPLE SCENT
And the folk that smell of cat pee or bio no one says a word 🙄
Being a perfume addict i've worn many scents to work like dior, mulger, Prada, kayali, VS, BBW and i've had for the most part funny looks and the odd "what that smell comment" 😂
I used to worry about it and just wear deodorant, but now i wear what the hell i want and couldn't give a crap what people think, especially when i have people that smell of cats telling me my perfume is strong 😬 The hell with it, i wear what i want!
Luckily I'm working in my own cleaning business and people actually enjoy when i come in smelling good my your cleaners smell good and they are happy everything smells clean and fresh. ☺️
I wear you're the one fragrance to work because I love it and I get compliments on it too, I love fragrance so many people I work with do not
Hi Bonnie!
I loooove Be Enchanted!! I just wish it was still in stores. I have Butterfly body cresm on my shelf on my office..a lot of ppl love it
Hi Bonnie - I'm also an '88 grad! Definitely remember guys overspraying Polo in the 80s🤢 My signature scent used to be Aramis New West. I work in a library now and I've been enjoying B&B Works Whipped Rose and Vanilla; gotten lots of compliments on it and no complaints🙂
OMG I am from Cleveland, I knew you looked familiar, from the Avon emails!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I work in HR and honestly, no scent is safe for the office. People complain about everything. I have a former boss who used to use Japanese Cherry Blossom room spray in her office…🤢
I lived on Coventry in Cleveland Hts so i know exactly where The Winking Lizard was 🤦🏽♀️😁
I’m going to apply to a job at the hospital working on the phones and computers they’re all pretty close by each other.
I heard they have excellent medical for the people who work their and their spouses. The interview is on Thursday because they have walk in interviews every third Thursday of the month.
Good luck!
I’ve been wearing Crisp Morning Air to the office
HAPPY COLD SNOW MONDAY BONNIE AND TO ALL
Hi Bonnie! Thank you so much for this video! I have been struggling so hard at work with this like I had mentioned the other day. I work at a music studio that offers private lessons… it’s me, the owner, and her sister which is the secretary. I have a private office in the back of the building …. I do have to walk by her when I come into work …. If the secretary smells anything she leaves early lol😂 I think the worst two I’ve worn in her opinion are Sweet Whisky and Snowfakes and Cashmere which I feel is light but not to her apparently lol😂 I’m making me a list of the ones you have suggested and I’m going to try one each day 😂
S&C is light and pretty. That's too bad u can't wear that scent, I'm kinda surprised by that 1.
@@juliemcdaniel499 yes me too! I was like umm ok? 😂
I wore Enchanted candy potion in the office around Halloween and my coworker said it smelled like a dentist's office! 😅
Im going to use this time to catch up on my BBW stash and get organized .... I think they are planning something 🤗
I have a co worker that doesn’t like vanilla and another that doesn’t like coconut so I purposely don’t wear those to the office
I work on cars for a living, so I wear the strongest scents I can get my hands on 🤣 all the guys always tell me I smell like cookies. There's only one guy that tells me to stop spraying my "candy" perfumes so much.
One of my favorite scents is Magic in the Air but it does linger.
Hey Bonnie. Happy Monday.
Happy Monday!
I prefer smelling any of these body mists vs a heavy perfume in the office. Those powerful scents really suck the oxygen out of a space. Most all B&B are soft and pleasant.
That was a great video, thanks Bonnie!
Happy Monday Bonnie! I like to wear fragrance spray when I’m not working. I enjoy them more that way. Lol
Happy Monday!
Oh no!!!
Bonnie,
love your story!
I grew up hanging out on Coventry Road.
Sipping milkshakes at Tommy’s,
sandwiches at the Grog Shop,
searching through music at the Record Exchange and across the street at Big Fun.
Now of course, what I may love in terms of scents, may be hated by someone else, as that's just a real life situation, but BBW smells sure beat some of the smells my kiddos can produce. hahaha!
Love your shirt! So cute!
I honestly wear whatever my little heart desires to work 😂😂🤷🏽♀️
Beautiful Day and Crisp Morning Air are good office scents.
I love twisted peppermint but the mist is so weak it would be gone before you got to the office..😂
