This is so beautiful. I got addicted with Nantucket since I started reading Elin Hilderbrand’s books. Now I can’t stop watching videos about Nantucket. As a christmas person, this is a dream for me.
probably americas most unique & gorgeous place. i'm from the UK & i've watched loads of videos about nantucket, and every one leaves me wanting to move here 😂 literally looks like a place that could only be created on a movie set. one of those "cute, fantasy" towns where everyone knows everyone & gets along extremely well and help each other out when needed, like christmas with the kranks.
It's an absolutely magical place! If you ever get a chance to visit, you should do it mid to late may. The "summer season" starts at the very end of May, and the entire island is packed with tourists once it does.
There are sooo many places like this in the US. Places that look like they came to life from a story book. If you’ve ever been to Kennebunkport Maine, Manchester by the Sea in Massachusetts or Carmel California, to name just a few, you’d know what I mean.
Absolutely beautiful. My family moved from Massachusetts decades ago to So Cal. Massachusetts towns are so pretty. My whole family originated there. Hope to take my daughter one day. Been to Cape Cod, other towns where my family is from.
I forgot how beautiful Nantucket is at christmas it reminds me of fairy tail town filled with love/peace n unbelievable mystery in every corner and when it snows the magic comes to life , I miss it
Thank you for this video, it brought back many memories for me. I was stationed at the NAVFAC at Tom Nevers Head for two years in 1969 and 1970. I loved exploring downtown Nantucket on my days off on the weekends. 👍
Thank you so much for this. Very enjoyable to watch. I'm up un Canada and visiting Nantucket is on my bucket list. Meantime, your video makes me feel like I am really there, walking the streets and looking at the beautiful historic buildings. Yep, virtual tourism :)
I WENT TO VISIT A FRIEND OF MINE IN MASSACHUSETTS. I JUST LOVED IT. I WANTED TO STAY FOREVER BUT IT WAS NOT TO BE. I CRY SO MUCHA IN THE PLANE,I JUST DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE.😢😢😢😢😢
You need to do an updated one this Christmas where nobody’s wearing a mask! I’d do it myself, but you guys have the experience and patience for it.🎅🏻🎄🤶🏻❄️🌨☃️
My ancestor, Tristram Coffin lived there after leaving England.Coffin, Tristram - colonist, b. in Brixton, England, in 1605; d. in Nantucket, Mass., in 1681. He is considered the ancestor all the persons bearing this name in the United States. In 1642 he came to America with his wife and a number of relatives and lived in Haverhill, Mass., and in 1659 took up his residence in Nantucket. In 1671, he was appointed governor of Nantucket, serving again in that office from 1674 to 1680.
Enjoyed it very much , thank you for doing this. One wish I would like to have is you would have swung camera left of right and give us a peak into a couple of shop windows
Excellent videography. I was raised here.I live in WPB, Florida and was sad to see the Sports Locker was no longer there.Murrays will always be there..I do miss ACK..only in the summer tho..I could walk blindfolded in towne.Had to break away tho..Sleepy Hollow (ACK) was too tiny for my dreams😭..See ya in the summer ACK..
Lucky you...looks gorgeous there. I read so many books centered around Nantucket I love these videos to really visualize this lovely town. Is that music on speakers all over the town or did you add it? Thanks for the visit.
@@kristahodges7025 I read all of Elin Hilderbrand’s fiction books. She’s lived there always and still does and much is based on true places. Print out a list of her books ..in order… and you will love them. I do audio books and listen….I prefer as voices bring the characters to life. There’s one triology the Winter Series…another the Paradise series. I definitely would get them all in order. They’re fabulous.
Nice to see a video of Nantucket. However, all you showed was a straight on view of the sidewalk and street. I feel you missed the charm of seeing the various shop windows decorated for the season.
This just came up and i am watching it. But did i hear the man in the street correctly in beginning? I played it over and over and sounds the same to me. " Big Zero Nantucket" ?
I knew the island is quiet after August, but that’s eerie. Then I saw that reader board in the middle of town telling everyone to “mask up”. I forgot how ridiculously paranoid everyone was (and still is in a lot of places) in the northeast. Hopefully this year you’ll get some snow and people will come to their senses.
Meh. Looks like every other overly cutesy overly gentrified overly commercialized "historical" town in the US. Show us some footage of the wild winter surf or even the inside of whaling museum and then you'll have me at hello.
It feels like the beginning of a Hallmark Movie.

Same happened to me 😅I ended up going there last summer and it left me speechless 😅its the most magical place ever! It seemed unreal !

Definitely not the most beautiful here but it is gorgeous
Martha's Vineyard is better!

50th place if i would rate it.

I am watching this in May - yet it is still magical. I've been to Nantucket, but never at Christmas. Thank you for this.
Lovely thank you.

Thank you for the beautiful tour. It's on our bucket lists of places to go.
Beautiful, this is on my bucket list to visit one day x
very pretty place lot's of history
Thanks for this, watching from Australia. I'd love to see some of those shops as you go by, even if it means now and then turning the camera left.
What a wonderful video….what a wonderful island♥️♥️♥️
NANTUCKET IS A DREAM BEING SUMMER OR XMAS TIME, LIKE CAPE COD TOO. MERRY XMAS!!!
Just as i left it in 2002......speechless......Love.....ACK
So story book wonderful there and I wonder was Thomas Kincaid ever inspired by this beautiful village in his great paintings
Thank you! Loved this! It actually was very helpful riding my stationary bike in the gym❤️
How lovely I am feeling Christmas and want to start my holiday routine but in limbo. Life should be so pretty!!!
Very enjoyable. Watching at home here in Wales as we get ready for Christmas 2021.
So beautiful! I hope you will do another this year.
it is 8/4, this video captures well the beauty of Nantucket--it will probably get more views closer to Christmas--thanks for sharing...dts/usa
The "Mask UP, Keep your distance" sign (about 1/2 way through) is a nice festive touch...enjoy and remember the past 4 years of horror...dts/usa

I use to work at the sports locker. Very sad it’s no longer there.
AWESOME

What is the name of the version of “Carol of the Bells” played here? Where can I find this particular version? It’s great!
A throwback in time. How are they able to do this? Out price the riff raff.
would've been great if you had taken us at the end to a cozy coffee place and let us watch as you get yourself a hot chocolate : )

Nice something the Hackett Brothers. Helen Chappel and the gang would experience in Wings.
I can just imagine Antonio driving his fares around these quaint streets

As long as Democrats keep getting elected the NE will continue to be forced into whatever mandate the government tries to control the citizens by.
ok billy....🙄

Look a lot like some of the 'nice' towns in the south of England.
Where exactly in Southern UK does this remind you of then 😂
It looks a bit Dutch?
Looks American to me
Damn pandemic! Normally there would be people strolling through town. It’s such a magical place.
Which country is this its beautiful
Paranoid people......
Sheesh! Not even Christmas Day they already have their Christmas trees kicked to the curb for trash pickup.
Oh, I guess you’re trying to be funny.
