i dont know whats up with everyones obsession with making sledge a rusher. if you want a 3 speed who can play vertical, aswell as having over all good destruction, you already have ash lol a change like that would make people ignore his main use which is being a vertical op, infavor of playing him like hes ash, where they just use his gadget to break 1-2 things just so they can rush site. which there hed just be a worse ash in every way in that scenario
@@Nubbleslabob the amount of times ive heard this from people is wild, since sledge has literally only gotten 1 single nerf throught his entire existence, and has exclusively been buffed (2 nerfs if you view him being buffed to be a 3 armor as a nerf) -- nerfs -- - smg-11 removed -- buffs -- + gained emps + breaches removed and replaced by stuns + hammer swing speed increased + hammer pull-out and put-away speed increased + changed from a 2 armor to a 3 armor + hammer can break bulletproof gadgets (it used to not be able to break deployable shields, deployable cameras, etc) + hammer made alot more consistant he's also had a bunch of buffs and a few nerfs via proxy aswell. -- nerfs -- - frag grenade nerf - flash granade count from 3 -> 2 -- buffs -- + his m590a1 got a range buff + his m590a1 got a damage buff + his m590a1 better destroys destructible surfaces + his m590a1 has better hipfire spread + ads spread + his l85a2 got a recoil buff + his l85a2 got a damage drop off buff + his l85a2 has been given a ton of attachments + his p226 mk 25 had its firing animation improved (you can actually see where your shooting) + his p226 mk 25s firerate cap was increased + his p226 mk 25 gained a muzzlebreak + his p226 mk 25 had its damage drop off increased + flash bang buff and theres probably been even more buffs then those that im just forgetting about

Zero's cam lasers already recharge overtime. The only issue is that you never get to use them more than once since Zero's cams are so easy to detect. The change i'd give zero is making his cams silent when impacting a wall, only making it do noise while you're switching sides. Also, give him interrogations. He's Sam Fisher for christ sake.
thats basically what i said for a change with zero instead lol. altho id also love it if he could also pick up his cameras after theyve been shot. both making the camera quieter, aswell as allowing you to pick them up if they miss their intended mark, would all around make zero alot less frustrating to play gadget wise (altho i dont think he should be able to intero, while it makes sense, thats already cavs ability)
i just wanna comment on a few changes that i think are a bad idea -- sledge -- sledge being a 3 speed would only hinder his actual use. hes not a rusher, he doesnt need that extra speed. making him a 3 speed would fundamentally change how he is going to be played. look at ash for example, shes a 3 speed op who was originally meant to be an op who focused on destruction/playing vert, and yet that cant be further from how shes actually played today. sledge is an op whos meant to play vertical, aswell as be useful all around, and him having that extra hp is way better then being a bit slower then before. the speed differences themselves arent even that big, 3 speed -> 2 speed is only a15% difference in speed, and a 2 speed -> 1 speed is only 10% difference in speed. while him having 125 hp instead of 100 or 115 puts him over alot of damage thresholds, which allows him to survive longer. aswell as that extra hp allows him to have a higher chance to actually survive the nitro, since the area where the nitro needs to land to be fatal for a 3 armor is alot smaller then for a 1 armor. all of that equates to him over all having more survivability then he did before. nor is he useless. ram is the only other 3 armor vertical op, problem is, you dont always want to open the entire floor, so sledge who is also just as tanky still has a use because sometimes its alot better to only make more controlled small holes in the floor. and as for buck, hes a squishier sledge who cant break as much as him. buck is used to map destruction (walls, floors), while sledge is used for general destruction (walls, floors, gadgets) my suggested change to sledge instead: i personally think hes just fine where he is hes good at what he does. hes a tanky vertical op who can open precise angles, that can also be used to counter ops like castle, maestro, counter gadgets like barbed, deployable cams, deployable shields, and more, all the while his gadget is the quietest breaching type gadget in the game. hes alright where he is, its just this meta doesnt suit him. the only thing i can think of is to change up his loadout slightly, either give him: - a smg primary (like a vector or p90, something that quick which would play more into his gadgets strengths) - a different pistol (like the 5.7 or the gls) - or a secondary hardbreach gadget. just do something to shake up his kit. -- twitch -- twitch isnt meant to be a fragger, which is why the vertical grip was taken away from her. giving it back to her would just make her a fragger again and we dont really need that my suggested change to twitch instead: give her some sort of secondary shotgun to better allow her to play a supportive role (the ita or the super shorty) -- glaz -- giving him something other then a sniper as his primary kinda renders his entire gimmic as a "sniper op" to be redundant. not every operator in this game needs to be some top teir fragger, which is why his sniper is a bit unruly to use, its to stop him from being what he used to be, a demon who was a 3 speed with a 2 shot weapon that was extremely easy to control. my suggested change to glaz instead: make it so the thermal part of his gadget comes online quicker, and takes longer to fade while moving. or just remove that whole mechanic and give the thermal full uptime like it used to be. -- black beard -- we do NOT need ANOTHER black beard nerf lmfao. he is already utter garbage, being so bad that your basically starting a round off as a 4v5 right from the get go because black beard just cant do anything anymore. hes louder then before, slower then before, he cant hipfire, his melee is useless, his ads speed is god awful, his gadget is borderline useless, his kit is mid/bad, hes easily rendered useless when in a close quarters engagement, and so, so, so much more. my suggested change to black beard instead: either: a. revert the most recent shield nerf they did. the shield nerf they just did over all made all shields just garbage b. buff his ads speed greatly, and buff his ar. this would make it so hes not completely useless in a fight, aswell as help out the people who refuse to use his dmr, and would rather use the worst gun on attack (and one of the worst guns in the game) black beard aswell as all shields right now are just god awful and REALLY need something, because they just dont work at all anymore and are over all just completely useless. -- dokkibbi -- a nerf is deffinetly needed for dokkibbi, but this one just isnt it. the logic bomb effecting the cameras is there since her gadgets 2 uses is to deny enemy intel via camera's, and to supply audio intel to her teammates while also clogging up the audio for the defenders. there was a reason why ubi made it so the dead defenders couldnt just ignore her ability with 0 downsides my suggested change to dokkibbi instead: either: a. kinda do yours, but make it so the dead defenders have to hold whatever button to disable her effect the same way if you were alive. this would make it so the defenders didnt have a free way to just skip out on her ability at 0 downsides when its ment to counter intel b. change up her kit in some way. you could swap her dmr to another op, and give her a weak ar, remove her smg-11/give it to another op, or something c. make her emit a noise when her gadget is active too, so theres a trade off for using her gadget like with daimos. this would give her gadget alot more of a risk/reward type of gameplay style -- nokk -- this change isnt really bad, its just not the play style shes really ment to have anymore. nokk isnt a stealth op anymore, that part of her was removed when they took away her gadget also reducing the sound you made. shes now fully an anti-intel op. people think nokk is weak because shes bad at stealth, when that hasnt been her intended roll for years now. my suggested change to nokk instead: imo nokk is perfectly fine where she is, but if i needed to give her a change, i'd either give her a better smg (or automatic weapon all together) since shes no-longer a steath op, her having an smg as a primary makes 0 sense now. give her either a dmr, or a ar. as for secondaries, swap out her degal for a secondary shotgun, and give someone else the degal so theres still atleast 1 on attack. (i have to break this into 2 parts because its too long)
- zero - thats literally how his gadget already works lol my suggested change to zero instead: make it so his gadget is quieter aswell as allow him to pick up his gadgets if he is close enough like you would with say a c4. this would make his camera over all alot better, aswell as make it so if you misjudge your shot with your cam, its not completely useless besides those, i agree with alot of these changes, or in some cases, i have a few different changes in mind, like monty should be immune to the stacking guard break effect when his shield is fully extended, or gridlocks tacks could take 2 shots to break rather then 1, hibanna should have some more pellets, kali should have the 12x zoom thing removed and instead have it so you can toggle over to a 1x or a 4x zoom, etc that i could go a bit more in depth with, but i dont wanna spend even more time typing here lol
Give bandit a secondary shotgun and smg :( He is good rn but due to having a weaker gadget compared to kaid i think the best would be buffing him into a more fragging version of kaid and giving him a site setup shotty. He would still have a weaker gadget but a better loadout of guns to balance for that.
i think more so the opposite should happen. bandit is already the go to operator to pick when electrifying walls, and the only time you ever go kaid is to electrify hatches. plus bandit already has better weapons over all. in almost every other scenario kaid is just a worse bandit. what would be great is to replace his revolver with a secondary shotgun, since it would allow for more interesting gadget placements since his is thrown, aswell as it would make him helpful around site too
