Next is Obviously a Good Looking Horse But When You See Him Up Close & Personal You Can Appreciate Just How GORGEOUS!!! He is
Next's movement is simply amazing!. I just watched the race for a third time. The conformation of his shoulder (laid way back at an angle) allows exceptionally free movement of those motorized front legs as they swing high to gobble up the ground. If you look at the other horses in the stretch run, you can see the big difference in the angle of their shoulders compared to Next's. Too bad he's gelded. It would've been great to pass on that gorgeous shoulder to progeny.
You Can Also See Just by His Action in The Stretch....His Legs are Moving Like He Still Has 90% of His Energy Left and Moving so Easy and Efficiently While Rest of Fields Action is Obviously Struggling....He Looks so Composed and Together

The way this horse kicks the dirt for speed in the stretch is truly impressive. Only great horses do that
