They did a lot with makeup in his Dynasty scenes. He looked awful and had to rest a lot. They did a great job with camera work to hide how bad he looked. Linda so kind about everything all these years. Thank you Linda. Rest in peace Rock Hudson.
What a show. The 1980's was THE best time of my life. We were young, healthy and full of life and there was relative peace (compared to today). Things were [reasonably] affordable and life was good. Shows like this made history and the 80's was a great time to be alive :)
I disagree of course u loved the 80's but the cameras werent hd an the fcc had a strangle hold on scripts.u loved the 80s cayse u were young an it was your hay day.now you're an old bag an u long for your youth.lol father time is undefeated an your number is about up.these shiws were terrible.unrealistic chauvinistic an glorified waste an wealth.get real women walking around sipping scotch in fancy pajamas doing a bunch of shopping an the men screwing every woman on the show.these shiws stink thats why they dont make any lije this no more.wake upbthe 80's stunk an so do you
He seemed as masculine as they came in old Hollywood, especially with that voice. I now understand why the world was shocked when they learned he died of AIDS. This was a time when you could put the word "AIDS" and "gay" in the same sentence without offending the snowflakes and it was widely accepted that if you had AIDS, most likely you were gay.
No, poor Linda Evans. Rock knew of his diagnosis, kept it a secret, & during this time the virus was (incorrectly) thought to be spread through kissing, water-fountains, coughing. Rock kissed her numerous times during the filming of this scene. Foul thing
I swear, they always had Krystle falling in love with nothing but a bunch of crusty old men. Alexis was the opposite her men were not old and crusty. They were quite the opposite.
This was the early days of AIDS and many people weren't yet sure or misinformed on exactly how the virus was transmitted. They honestly didn't know any better, but at least now we do.
When you don’t know how a disease is transferred and there is a definite death sentence with it as everyone who has it is dying, you would worry about being close to anyone who had aids. I know i wouldn’t go near someone that had aids back then in the early 80s. Heck I wouldn’t go near a person with aids today if they had a cut in their hand, it’s called protecting yourself.

Ellos no sabían que tenía la enfermedad así que no creo que se Allan esmerado tanto en ocultar lo que para ellos era desconocido
Love 💕 Rock Hudson! Very cute 😍 he is a icon! A legend!
I agree with all of that especially the handsome part.

The irony of that statement given the terror that Rock Hudson was going through at the time!
Yep,and the music was great too
@@Whatt787 The music was fantastic.
It seems like he aged about 15-20 years between 1980 and 1984. He looks completely different here compared to just a few years earlier.
That'll be the AIDS. It did tend to age people pretty quickly, particularly back then.
He had AIDS.
Lipodystrophy of the face.

still is...
hmmm...it wasn't just the snowflakes then. I think it was the general and popular opinion of people.
Clearly you don't understand that gay men can be masculine and butch !

Whole farm is perfect but barn has hay thrown around and is a complete mess, yeah right.
SharkSport Hahaha!!!
Thank you ..
Dinasty is actually spelled Dynasty
Any reason as to why they spelled it incorrectly?
@@itslikethesamebutdifferent8020it might be an English youtuber who pronounces the show “dinn-uh-stee”
I remember people made a whole big deal about this mess. 🙄
They should have. He didn’t know how it was transmitted. He could have killed her! Same thing with Marc Christian.
