I an having the same issue along with stalling issues. I have 07 r6 and i cant seem to find the tps sensor. Where can i find it? Do i need to move the gas tank? I tried to take off the right side fairings and really couldnt find it with all the hoses. Any help will be appreciated
@@444jc444 how hard would you say it is to replace? Do you have any videos for it or any guide i can follow? Removing tank seems easy, after that i am bit lost
@@440hp5 not that difficult. Tank and air filter come off easy. I don't have any videos of me replacing the tps sensors but I remember watching a few on UA-cam.
@@444jc444 excusme Sr. I’m having a problem wt my 2015 Yamaha R6 My motorcycle when it goes at a stable speed loses speed for a few thousandths of a second and then returns to speed, it feels as if it lost the supply of gasoline or air, I disassembled it to be able to look at the throats , I opened the key as you Did you in your video turn the throttle to the maximum and the throats only open a little maybe 1/4 of an inch, I think it should open halfway in full throttle right ? Or I’m wrong? , do you think it could be the tps? Thanks
@@Michael-iu1gv just go into dyagnostic mode and look at the values when using throttle. On google you can get the chart with the right values. When you use the throttle just do it slowly the way I did on the video. Throats should open and close smoothly. If not may be a tps issue like mine. Take them off and clean them.
Get a new battery with 12AH, yamaha has problems when it gets older. My mt09 takes 8 months to figure out the problem.

Mine like bucks at 8k rpm. You think this would be the issue? It also kinda does it from take off
Is the right size battery in the bike?
Was the bikes idle bouncy or misfiring ?

On mine I had to take off the fuel tank and injection body. Then you find the tps sensors. One in the middle and the other one on the right.

joao carvalho I replaced TPS sensors today & all of a sudden throttle isn’t working anymore ? Did this happen to yours also ?
