You don't need to pill the bark off, just cut it around. In Vietnam we do similar technique on pompelo tree. On small Citrus dig around the roots or just dry out.

Thank you, this is interesting! Yes, there are many different techniques for stimulating fruiting. Most effective techniques caused disruption of the transport of organic substances and their retention in the tree crown - in one way or another.

Your orange looks awesome . A friend of mind that grows citrus here on Vancouver Island uses luke warm water to the soil once in a while when blooming and setting fruit . . Like a little more like room temp + . Acidic soil or phosphorus helps for bloom set to fruit . Ivy Organic here on you tube is a great source of intel . His name is Charles. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Figs in Israel. Hope this finds you well my fellow earthling. Peace and love

Hello! Thank you for your kind words and wishes! This is very interesting information - watering with warm water and acidifying the soil. I will definitely try it out. I appreciate the referral to a qualified individual - I would be interested in checking out Charles's work. Thank you again, peace and good luck to you!

Yeah stress blooming is a thing. In italy they also use acid to stress the roots in order to make the tree flower/fruit

      Hello!
Yes, this is interesting - I have not heard of the use of acid on fruit trees to stimulate fruiting.
Naturally, on an industrial scale, different techniques are needed than in a small private garden. Thanks for the info!
      Sincerely,
      Figs in Israel.

Hello! Thank you for your warm wishes!
Yes, you can take a chance and try it on apple trees. Just remember to limit the size of the cut so you don't kill the tree. Good luck!
      Sincerely,

    Thanks for showing this technique
Cincturing is effective enough to use consistently …..but should not be confused with Girdling witch will kill your tree…

      Hello!
Yes, surgical techniques must be used carefully so as not to kill the tree. Therefore, each technique has its own rules and limitations.
