I love that you got rid of the bed. A lot of you tubers and maybe people in general, have guest bedrooms for guests that probably only come once or twice a year, then they want bigger houses because they don’t have enough space. Our guests stay in a hotel or are more than happy to stay on an air mattress or in one of my kids bed. So thank you for being practical and using the space you have for YOUR needs not for guests that are hardly ever there.

Yes!! I got rid of my guest room and turned it into my office/gym. I live here 365 days/year and guests maybe 7-14 days (0 during Covid). I have a super comfy sofa or air mattress and there are nice hotels nearby. (I already have a sewing/craft room.)

I agree! I was feeling guilty about not having a bed in the guest room that’s my craft room. Not anymore!
My husband and I have been having this debate for a few years. I want to get rid of the bed but he wants to keep it if he needs to sleep there. Sometimes he has back spasms at night and doesn’t want to wake or bother me so he’ll sleep in the other room.
Just wanted to say when you end each video saying “you are enough” you have made my heart smile when I’m feeling less than. Thank you sooo much!!

Over the years we refinanced several times to do renovations to the house. The last time we did it we didn't take any extra money out we just lowered our payments. But, I kept paying the higher amount and paid off the mortgage early. We were so surprised to get a letter saying we paid off the mortgage. I had to call and make sure it wasn't a mistake.
You beyond deserve that dream craft room and I have to say, you have the 3 sweetest men to surprise you 💙😭😭😭

Oh that desk and chair from BIG LOTS has brought me so much joy when I saw it on your channel way back when!! I stalked the furniture guy at Big Lots because it was the floor display and he said he couldn’t sell it to me until he knew they weren’t getting anymore!! It's fabulous!!!! You have a home business you deserve a whole room. We retired and downsized and the realtor pointed out a small room next to the master...a nursery "you don't need that". Oh yes I do...craft room. After a year I out grew it and moved into the bigger guest room. We only have guests once a year, they can have the nursery! I'm the type that likes to see all my fabric and yarn and stuff but I love your style too.
WOW! This room is amazing! That room in my house will probably be the last one that I get to, but I will keep going back to this video for ideas. My room is office/craft/and so many other things Great job!
Make it your first! I wanted to do other rooms in our home first, but I kept having to compromise with my husband because it's our space combined, and that slowed things to a crawl, lol. So since the craft room was my room, and it's just paint and storage furniture, I decided to buy all the things myself, and it ended up being the first completed room! When covid hit, he used the room to work from home and was grateful it was complete.

Kathryn, recently I had to downsize to a smaller house from one where I had a huge, custom craft room. It made me so sad to lose that space that I didn’t make a new space in the new house for a whole year. I just decided to try my best to make a functional space. I just want to thank you for these really good ideas. I love that you show ACTUAL craft supplies and not “staged” cabinets. I have been watching a lot of craft room organizing videos and it seems like a lot of creators just buy colorful art supplies to make the video pretty, but that’s not always real life. I really appreciate that your ideas are inexpensive, look great, and are very practical. Great work!! Xoxo
