It's no secret that the iPhone 14 Pro Max was my least favorite iPhone I've used in a long time, but is the iPhone 15 Pro Max any better? Did Apple listen to my complaints and fix the issues? I’m someone who buys a new iPhone every year so I also went from the 14 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max and the difference has been unexpectedly great!

I went from the 14 pro max to 15 pro max and it’s barely different😂. Yes the camera is better and the new button on the side but for the average user it’s not much different unless your a editor or UA-camr

@@bluiii I had a 7 with 128 then I downgraded to 64 when I got the se. huge mistake. Made sure to get at least 256 w the 15 and I definitely cannot complain
I’ve had the 8+ for 7 years now, never needed a battery change, and I’m constantly using it, these phones are amazing!
I upgraded from a 12 pro max -> 15 pro max and the improvement was better than I expected. LOVE it.

@@AntonioPerez18 Get the Pro if you do. I didn’t need to upgrade but I was worried about Taiwan (TSMC) at the time. It’s a complicated supply chain, in case something happens, I want the latest. The promotion screen, lighter titanium and new cameras are simply wonderful.
My ip12 pro battery is at 86% and looking at upgrading to 15 pro.Will see.
I think you had a lemon 14 😂 I use my 14 max all day usually watching UA-cam and using UA-cam music while at work. Usually end my day around 11 pm at 20% 😂
I noticed battery degradation on the 14 pro as well. Mine is at 91% after a year, where as my 12 pro max had 93% after 2 years…

The 14’s battery was due to software I experienced the same on 12 pro max. Doing a backup and restoring the phone took care of the problem.

I have my iPhone 13 PM with still 93% battery health, this battery on my phone lasting me all day and I charge it every evening when my battery percentage still 50-60% this way each charge is considered as half circle instead of when you charge it when it’s under 50%
I bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max back in 2020...sooo good! Our battery health was at 82% thanks to all the iOS software updates. On 2/25/24 my wife and I bought the IPhone15Pro Max. Incredible camera and video quality. We live in Santa Monica next to an ultra wide network and get an average of 2.6Gigs. The WiFi 6e is a big improvement over all in our home and abroad. Even in our under ground parking, we get good reception to watch UA-cam TV and UA-cam. It’s lighter than the twelve and no fingerprints in the frosted glass back. I also never use a cover on any of my iPhones..unlike my wife. I’ve been with since the first iPhone in ‘07.

Might the battery life on your 14 Pro supermaxfelony have been wonky because of the battery health app? Like the optimized charging?
I just upgraded from a 14 pro to a 15 pro max today. Last big phone I had was the iPhone 6 Plus. I wanted the black but ended up getting the natural titanium because it’s the only color my store had but I will say I do like the color better. Every single iPhone since the 3g I’ve had has been black/space grey. I know that I didn’t need to upgrade but my ex wife bought it for me as a distraction for adulterous behavior so I HAD to get rid of it. Every time I picked it up I wanted to throw it into a wall. Anyway, I love the extra real estate and I have absolutely no regrets upgrading early for a bigger phone with better battery life that feels like the same weight of last years smaller phone and I can’t wait to put it to use and see what the main differences are!
i upgraded from iphone xs and the 15 non pro model cought my eye basically because of awesome battery life and usb-c change. So far its been awesome and the battery definitaly holds up to my expectations. lasts all day perfectly
I stopped using my iPhone 14 PM after a year, switched to S24 Plus, and the battery health was at 98%. Later switched back to iPhone 13 PM to keep my SIM Card slot.
Totally agree with you. I use my telephoto lens all the time. I use it all the time for my daughter’s events (choir, tennis, etc.). I’ve been very happy with this 15 pro max.
Im considering upgrading to the 15 PM from the 13 PM because of usb c alone. I have an android work phone and I’m very forgetful of cables. It’s something i don’t want to even be on top off.
What gives me pause is the huge notch on the 15 PM, since i watch a lot of media
If you don’t full screen the video I’m not noticing it at all and I made the same jump for the same reason and the other little surprises made me realize that the upgrade was more worth it than initially expected
I went from 13 P to 15 PM and it was worth it! But I upgrade every two years regardless but it had many changes needed…USB C, Dynamic Island, Action Button, 10x Camera, 48MP Camera, Slimmer bezel on screen, WiFi 6E, and so on
I watch full screen on my 15PM on say disney plus app and you only see the tiniest bit of it, barely even noticable. I didn't even notice till i looked for it
@@Xx_aXtion_xX”dynamic island” is not a feature but rather a step back and a liability. Its a notch on a 2023 phone.. other phones have full screen with only a punch hole for the camera. “Dynamic island” lol

I’ve been saying this forever stop charging your phone past 80%. I’ve had my 14 Pro Max for a little more than 11 months now and it just dropped to 99%. This is pretty common for my phones as long as you do that
I have a iPhone 13 Pro at 81% battery life and I always leave my charger on it. I guess that would explain why it’s so low, but I do use my phone a lot

The iPhone should not be compared to a high end sports car. Nothing practical about a sports car, nor is there anything sporty about an iPhone.
I’m still carrying the XR since the launch, 5 years and half so far. It’s really impressive how the phone still functioning as good as new, *even though I took the phone to the extremes, Traveling, Camping , hiking, motorcycling, skiing, mountains, forests, beaches, a lot of hot spot, a lot of pictures and recording and games and finally a lot of drops. I don’t think Androids phones can do that type of thing.* I can’t wait to get the 16 pro max or whatever they making next. I think that’s gonna be a huge level up.
love my 15 pro max and immediately bought external SSDs to record vids in great quality to an external device. do not mind at all having to use to hands to hold both the phone and the SSD to future proof my videos in 4k 60fps Pro Res
I have the 14 pm got it back in Feb of 2023 up until oct it dropped to 99 then in Nov it dropped to 98 and now in Jan it’s at 94!!!!! I take care of my phone the battery life is still great but that degradation is stressful as nice as the 15 series is ima hold on to it for a few more months
I had my 14Pro max for almost one and a half years and my battery health is at 92%.I a very heavy user and I have about 20 to 30 percent at the end of the day.
About to upgrade from a Xs lol can’t wait I feel like mine is on its last leg.
I jumped to the 15 Pro Max from the XS Max. One of the best upgrades ever. Love this phone, I will probably keep another 6yrs like I did the XS Max.
I personally run two iPhone 15 pro max’s with 1tb and it’s great more productivity!

I definitely use zoom a lot too. Pretty much never use ultra wide. Love this phone.
Every time I touch my iPhone 15 ProMax, it jumps to a different app or video. I’ve come close to throwing it several times. This zero bezel bs is a pain. I’d like to have an adjustment to deaden the edges.
Switching to the s24 ultra the 15pm hasn’t met my expectations wish l had kept my 14pm apart from the camera upgrade and usb there isn’t much of an upgrade only incremental changes

My battery is at 99% on my 15 max and a year later on my 14 pro max I was at 99% so no improvement on battery degradation for me it’s worst at this point
How the heck do you drop to 80% after a year I got my 14pm back in Feb of 2023 and as of now I’m at 94% but the 15pm is not worth the upgrade imo I’m gonna hold out till the 16 series which is only 6 months away
I encountered a glitch when adjusting the brightness or volume, the screen brightness flashed quickly, the column I was adjusting also jumped and then stabilized, in a few minutes of adjusting it, it doesn't happen anymore, but if I leave it for more than 5 minutes and then adjust it, the glitch comes back! I encountered it on ios 17.2, and still have it on 17.2.1

Love it right now, definitely put an anti glare screen protector though to make it much more of a pro experience. Still not sure why they don't have anti glare screens, I hear the new s24 ultra does though

0:10 I wouldn’t call a year the iPhone life cycle. To me, the life cycle lasts until it loses support. I don’t judge, but as an Apple fan, I don’t see buying an iPhone every single year as a good idea.

No issues with my 14 pro max battery life. That’s why I didn’t upgrade this year. Currently at 88% battery life. Still makes it through the easily.

I usually charge it between 30% to 95% never all the way full. I am do finding the phone getting a little slow.
Flippity Doo-da is a game changer shortcut for doing different things based on the iPhone's orientation. It becomes super natural once you start using it. I have it silence the phone if the screen is down or open the camera if the action button is up and the iPhone is in landscape. It can even start a new query to ChatGPT 4 with Bing if I have the iPhone upright in portrait. It's like having a new smarter Siri with the other button in many ways! You can choose the actions to be whatever you want. Those are just some of the things that I do.

Same it's been great for me. I'm not seeing the issue. Even my battery health is at 95% which I think for this time of it's life cycle is pretty good. Gonna keep it for a couple years.

I down sized from the 13 pro max to a 15 Pro last year! The battery is not as good as the pro max but the 15Pro size is great for my hands and pockets. I have a 24056Gb

My 13PM battery sucks. All of a sudden it drains within a day. The battery capacity after 2.5 years is at 84%. I work on the phone and cannot have this problem. They won’t replace the battery til it get to 80% or below. I guess I’ll upgrade to the 15PM even though I wasn’t planning on it.

Is it worth upgrading from 13pro to 15plus? I am drawn to bigger screen and better battery life but at the same time worried about 60hz display and not havin 3x optical zoom. Thx
If battery life and screen are your priorities, then yes, it's worth it. You'll get used to the 60hz in a week or two. Yeah, you might miss the x3, but with 48MP primary, x2 zoom is (almost) optical level. It also has a better SoC, is much more efficient, and USB-C. The battery, however, is what will make it all worth it.
For me the max is just too big. It’s a shame because I do love it’s battery life. But I love too much the size of the regular pro. If only the pro could have the pro max’s battery life !
The 15 P max is definitely quicker and I love the battery but it’s still new to me. My 14 P max is still my daily driver and my battery is at 87%
I went from iPhone 8 Plus to iPhone 15 Pro Max and honestly not as impressive! Had the latest iOS update and on this one it’s been no dramatic change. Need to find new features I guess.

I upgraded to the S24 Ultra from the PM14 but I'll tell ya my iPhone had insanely amazing battery and having it since day 1 and turning it in on the 31st of Jan 2024 my battery health was at 100%
I still have my iPhone XR and that’s about 6 years old and the battery life or condition is still %96.

Nope, not getting this one. I'll wait until the 16 comes out this October. The only reason I am moving from Samsung is the Apple Log, if it wasn't for that, I would be sticking to my S21 Ultra for many more years to come.

That’s crazy battery degradation on your 14 pro max. After a year mine was still at 96%. But my 13 pro max was still at 100% after a year.
I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it’s been 17 months and the battery is down to 96%. During my 8 hour shift watching UA-cam and listening to podcasts it will go down to 76%. Still a beast 😊

@@seanlacroix for sure it does. My brother and his family switch to the 14 PM and all their phones had terrible battery life. They ended up switching to Samsung S24. I’m hoping when I decide to trade up that the current iPhone has a better or similar battery life what I have now 🤞

You replaced yours 14 pro max after a year with 80% batery ? Wtff , i replaced mine for 15 pro max last week after 11 months and i had 97 %batery life . And yes was hard user of Iphone14pro max .
I just bought the iPhone 15 Plus, then I decided it was too big (the battery life was amazing though, but StandBy mode didn't really work)... so then I returned this iPhone and bought the iPhone 15 Pro, then I decided that it was too small (and the battery wasn't that great)... so then I returned this iPhone and bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Completely love it despite it costing about $2,000...!! For the price, I would want Apple Care to last me like 5-10 years and for it to come with a USB-C 3.0 cable (not 2.0). But other than that, it is a billion times better than my old iPhone X.
how is it going the battery life?
@@lutsukinini the battery life is still really good, but my phone is only a couple months old. It lasts me the whole day every day and I use it religiously for briefings the web, sending texts, and showing me a picture when I’m sketching something.
