This was the moment of the race for me. Madlads almost went 4 wide down the Mulsanne with almost 20 hours still to go in the race. What commitment.
I'd love to get hit with amnesia so I can watch those first 5 hours again for the first time

I watched it for 20hrs, and yes it was tight but only because of the fixed extra long SC procedure where all divisions were grouped. Result was 3hrs of SC during the first 6hrs of racing. Total screw up combined with the BOP it gave a whole wrong image of the TRUE potential of the cars.
Well, next year will bring BMW, Alpine, Lamborghini and Isota adding to the ones this year (if Glickenhaus doesnt retire from the sport), so the potential is lf 20+ hypercars next year plus the coming of the GT3 cars. Sadly wont be LMP2 anymore (except maybe for Le mans). Next year WEC will be amazing!!

The future of WEC is very bright indeed! Absolutely amazing to see so many cars battling in the top class.

@@r3tro0 It means everything. F1 is still the biggest and most prestigious racing series around and is growing exponentially quicker than all the other ones. The only reason you end up in stuff like WEC and Formula E is cause you weren't good enough for F1. And don't even talk to me about competition when we've come off years of Toyota dominance in LMP1. You needed FIA interference, silly gimmicks and weight being added on just to get some semblance of competitive racing otherwise Toyota would be running away with it again this year.
I just noticed: The #5 overtook 4 cars from Tetre Rogue to the first chicane. Insane.
This is what peak Motorsport looks like, the first hour of this race was just greatness and every restart was amazing untill now
There were 19 hours to go and it seems that there were 5 minutes left, incredible what aggressiveness.
So happy I saw it all live, so sad it's already over.
Exactly how I feel...but remember we will have 3 more Wec races until the end of the season, and then a few more next season before le mans itself. We can see these same boys and machines racing all over again in a different challenge (monza is next)

They will be showing this highlight for decades. This is the best “modern” clip of LM racing I’ve seen since the F1 GTR and Porsche GT1 were trading the lead and shooting flames on each other.
When you see a fantastic Le Mans race…but then you remember the next year hypercar lineup 😍

I'm sure if F1 had 24 hour races there would be lots of highlights as well. This is like half a season of racing condensed into 24 hours.
It would have been other manufacturers it would have looked incredible, but to see that Porsche battling with the 2 Ferrari... It was like we went back into 1970 😍

No full race. But one of the Ferrari's has an inboard camera and they show the full race.

@@bensonliao6468 I think the problem is "Eurosport". They bought the broadcasting rights for the "most famous" 24h race and intervene and sue all who try to stream them from other official platforms.
Nevertheless they can't prevent that now Eurosport 1 or 2 is streamed online at other sites.
