I cancelled my tv licence some time ago, I will not support that foul organisation.
They have literally nothing to say that I want to hear anyway. Never mind that the whole deal is completely political and totally biased. I stopped paying after Savile. Oh and the gobble statue.

You’ll need to cancel many more. Most organisations have similar problems. If you cancelled on principle at paying a licence fee ok,but don’t for one minute think you favourite supermarket etc does not have the odd nonse employed.
You do realise that not paying your TV licence is a serious offence, rendering you liable to imprisonment!
Unlike all other offences, where you are innocent until proven guilty, by not paying your TV licence you are guilty and you have to prove your innocence.
It's considered so bad that the penalties are worse than drunk driving, driving without a licence, mugging old ladies, spitting on the sidewalk, not having valid car insurance, being nasty to obnoxious council receptionists, not road taxing your car, driving a death trap vehicle without MOT,
the list goes on and on.

Strange thing to go to the employer of a stranger, if you (understandably) are unhappy about your 20 year old "kid's" lifestyle, particularly if the entire story had nothing to do with that employer.

I think that's factually wrong. Basically no employer would make a fuss, if an employer spent money on pornography or had sexual relationships outside their marriage (even if they were much younger, which may make it creepy but still not illegal), if it didn't happen during working hours. Do you seriously want employers to police people's sex lives, sordid as they might be?
I understand that a public institution like the BBC has more reason to worry about appearances, but that doesn't automatically give them a right to control their employees private lives.

I think the issue is that although the parent of the young person is saying that they were only 17 at the time, this has not been corroborated or confirmed. Presumably that is why Police are saying they can find no evidence of criminality.

The only reason his mental health is so poor is because he got caught, he KNOWS he's done more than enough for very serious consequences and his reputation is in tatters. It's a case of the institution and the boy's club closing in and protecting their own. Teenagers are vulnerable to sexual and financial manipulation, especially from powerful people. This man with 5 children didnt give a damn about what psychological effects this might have on the young man and his future relationships, as long as he gets his sordid wank on. People treating this as some kind of consensual agreement disgust me. Manipulation doesnt get clearer than 30 grand`s worth, and even if was the teens idea, a responsible and moral adult says no.
