I love the bag! We give our grown grandchildren money for Christmas and I think a bag of cash would be a grand idea for the girls! Now to think of a way to give the grandson his! Hmm…
Oh yes! The ‘Lunch time tutorial” has returned! Don’t care what time of day or night you record that, Love it! 😁😁 The desk top serious reader gemini lights are superb, I definitely need one by my cutting table cos they are heavy mummas to move about 😬
Thank you so much for the gift pouch tutorial. I am definitely going to make a few of these! A good use for all my quilting scraps😃 Have fun with your friend😊
Great tutorial!!! I will definitely be making a few of these in 2025. Thanks for doing vlogmas! Watching you is si enjoyable. Have a great time this weekend!❤❤❤❤❤
I did my first ever machine blind hem on a circle skirt hem this year. I did some practice goes first. It was brilliant! When you've got more time, have a go, Ruan! You won't look back.. 🤗
You can do a blind hem on your sewing machine. I would check the instructions for your machine, that is if you don’t have the time to blind hem it by hand ☺️
That drawstring pouch looks great for durable reusable gift wrapping if you have demon cats that tear up your presents as soon as you place them under the tree. I'll keep that in mind for next year and save my blood pressure, thanks. 😁
I do the 2 pin thing too! Def making the bag! Thank you! 👍

Great tutorial, the pouch looks really good yet is quite straight forward to put together. I love projects like that.🙂
Yes me too ☺️
Thanks Ruan, this is a beautiful bag. Love your colours the petals stand out with the contrast fabric.❤❤Julie Tasmania Australia
Thank you so much!
I do the exact same thing. Two pind indicate a start or stop.
It’s funny how we have something to indicate the gap isn’t it. I’ve learnt after seeing it up by accident several times 🤣
You’re very good at tutorials you know. 😊
Aww thank you!
Lovely bag Ruan, very cute x
Haven’t heard lovely jubbly in sixty years. ❤🎉
I didn’t even know I’d said it 🤣
Hi Ruan I think you should blind hem your dress by hand it will look lovely thank you so much for vlogmas Dawn xx

I'm glad you like it x
What a beautiful little bag Ruan. I shall be trying it for sure. Have a lovely time with your friend. Lisa x 🇦🇺
Thank you lovely x
I love that gift idea. My hems are kind of simple I would just fold a narrow hem once then twice and sew a straight stitch to keep it in place.
Yes that’s how I’d usually do it but think it may look strange on this type of fabric 🤔

Wow, thank you! 🤩
You could use a black bias binding to do your hem? Super quick ❤
Good thinking!
Going to give this a try today. Thank you

Do the blind hem, it won't take long to figure it out, I looked up UA-cam and plenty of tutorials, it'll be worth it.
Yes probably will be - I might do it by hand maybe!
Lovely bag Ruan, thanks for sharing. 💙🌈🧶🍓
You’re welcome 😊
Just hand stitch the hem with a blind stitch….it will go fast.❤
Yes I think I’ll do that!
Fun tutorial Ruan...thank you. xx Karen

I'd try the blind hem stitch on the machine... I think you'll pick it up fast! 💪🏼💪🏼
Yes either that or hand stitch it maybe 🤔
I'm sooo making these...fab thanks 😊
My pleasure 😊
Love the tutorial Ruan 👌. You could use the patches on your jeans pocket perhaps 👍🥰💖😘
Great idea!!
Blind hemming on the machine is easy. Do a quick test first. It is so quick or hand sew it.
Yes might do it by hand maybe 🤔
🎄❤️
❤️
I think I'd knot the 2 ends of ribbon together so they don't get lost inside a casing or come out
Absolutely. I did that on the other one so don’t know why I didn’t mention it 🙈🤣
Look good I mean 🤣🤣🤣
I think you should give your hem a bit of depth and hand stitch it. 😊
I think so too!

🤣🤣
If you ever make zip up pouches the patches could look on those.
Yes!
I think a new career awaits you for doing sewing demonstrations! Thank you
Aww thank you - if I had more time I'd love to do more x
Please, please close your rotary cutter each time you use it! Ask me how I know!
I learned the hard way.
I do usually to be honest. Maybe because I was filming I was concentrating on other things 🤔
Patch on jeans back butt pocket!
Great idea x
xXX👍👍👍

My @jazz and wow ornament was a black background with the gold glitter
Oooh lovely!
