Creating a Whitewash Look Using White Magic Voodoo Gel Stain by Dixie Belle

I used White Magic Voodoo Gel Stain to create a french limed oak effect for this lovely oak sideboard.

You can indeed, Voodoo Gel Stain is waterbased so you can top coat with your favourite. I did this a while ago and I can’t remember what I used, probably flat clear coat or clear wax

Was this over raw wood or over top coat?

Can this be washed off?

It can be wiped back whilst still wet. But although it is a waterbased product it’s still a stain so penetrates the wood so not really something that can be washed off once dry
