- This is my cover of Tabi no Yukue by Hana Hope, the opening theme for the NEW Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf!
I have been so hyped up for this anime you would not believe. I didn't watch the original so I'm SO excited to hear what everyone's so excited about hahaha!! First episode was already great and the opening theme has this air of modern familiarity, perfectly fitting haha. I hope you guys enjoy!

very nice lyrics- both JP and adaptations (covers), but IMO pop elements in instrumentals is a uhhhmmmm mistake. old music was so sweet partially because of actual instruments and ballad-like arrangement

I'm also having Fate Heaven's Feel vibes right here too... a combination of adventure, hope, loneliness and especially Irish feels in culture & music as well... what a great series this is in everything about it in world building... the manga & novels are amazing, and I can't wait to see it all come to life in the new anime & its later seasons & spinoff. 🤞
I do love this anime given a second chance of life retold with the full story now being adapted compared to what they couldn't do before in its incompleteness earlier on decades back... But I still really love & miss the original style in art of the anime before = but I believe this one will grow on me & us in due time... so far so good. 🤗
And I can't wait for the dub with Brina & Michael hopefully returning to reprise their roles soon, along with the few others as well from former Funimation from its earlier days... they're just so good at it in performances professionally, especially from the voice audios lately... and Black Butler being together previously as well... and coming back again soon as well.
Why do I say A$$ you all ask yourselves & me? = because Holo called Lawrence such in the original, and here in the new one as well = and back in the day of the originals, I jokingly teased her in a dream of mine that I had saying... so does that mean if you marry this A$$ one day Holo, does that mean you'll take on the title name with that as Holo the wise A$$ wolf? 😅
And then in my dream... she kicked me hard right back for that... just like she does to Lawrence whenever her pride gets tipped off over the edge, because she can be such a tsundere sometimes. 🤭
Loved Holo every since... Brina really brings out the best in her roles... and I hope they really bring her back, along with Michael... because it just won't feel right without them anymore.
And with her motherly charm now, especially after 2018 & pre-events knowing myself in future possibilities... she would most certainly be perfect once again for what comes next in later spice & wolf story in the anime's future.
Anyways: Thanks again Mewsic! = love your works here as always and please keep up the great work... especially here with maybe the extended versions of this and the ending music next up, maybe? = pretty please?... much appreciated by all us fans of this great anime series if you do... we'll be here for you in all that. 😎😉
