    Indian origin of Zoroastrianism -
The Rigveda can be divided into 4 time periods
    (1) Pre Rigveda
    (2) Early Books of Rigveda (Early Period)
    (3) Middle books of Rigveda (Middle Period)
    (4) Late books of Rigveda (Late Period)
The Early, Middle, Late Books of Rigveda are composed in Vedic Sanskrit but they are not same. It is observed that for many words Each period uses different vocabulary... the rules of Sandhi are also found bit different for many words.
for example take a word : Night - it is Nakta in Early books of RV, Kshapa in Middle Books of RV and Ratr in Late Books of RV.
In Avesta the world Kshapa was used for Night. That means Avesta is composed after Middle Rigvedic Period or During Middle Late Vedic Period but not before that. (The word Kshapa later becomes Shaba in Persian for Night eg. Shab-e-khair, Shab-e-barat).
Now who is Rishi Zarathusta/Zarathustra (Zoroaster) :
The Hymns of Early books of Rigveda exalts many RISHIS and KINGS as their GREAT ANCESTORS from the DISTANT PAST, Some of them are even revered as the Progenitors the Primordial beings.
In these Hymns These Ancestors are praised as Divine beings and revered as Deities and frequently invoked for guidance and blessings from them.
Here we discuss about only few of them :
    ANGARAS
    BHRIGU
    ATHARVAN
    BRIHASPATI
    SHUKRACHARYA (USANA KAVI)
    JAMADAGNI
ANGARAS was a BRHAMRISHI and one of the SAPTARISHI. His descendants and Pupils are called as ANGARASAS and BHARADVAJAS they are the most powerful Rishis throughout Vedic Period.
Brahmrishi BRIHASPATI was the descendant of ANGARAS.
Maharishi BHARADVAJA was the descendant of BRIHASPATI.
In the Early Hymns of Early Mandalas (Book) of Rigveda it is explained how ANGARASAS and BHARADVAJAS were previously associated themselves with Bhagwan VARUNA.
But after the heroic victory of alliance of Aryan tribes in a major war with opposing Aryan tribes who's alliance was lead by King VRITRA and his brother VALA. The Allegiance was gradually shifted from Bhagwan VARUNA to towards Bhagwan INDRA who was a young deity in comparison to Old VARUNA
It was the war of survival and the victory was not that easy after facing several setbacks in several smaller battels the ANGARASAS decided to invoke Bhagwan INDRA for help for Victory, INDRA a younger deity in comparison to Bhagwan VARUNA.
ANGARASAS and BHARADVAJAS gradually replaces Bhagwan VARUNA with Bhagwan INDRA as their Tutelary Deity.
BHRIGU was a BRAHMRISHI and one of the SAPTARISHI, His descendants and Pupils are called as BHARGAVAS / BHRIGUS and ATHARVANS. His descendants also call themselves as Sons of VARUNA.
The Primordial Maharishi ATHARVAN was descendant of BHRIGU.
Maharishi ATHARVAN was the first person who Instituted the FIRE YAJNA Rituals.
The Great Maharishi SHUKRACHARYA (USANA KAVI) was also the descendant of the BHRIGU.
The Maharishi JAMADAGNI was descendants of Bhrigu from Maharishi Chyavana Line. His Son RAMA JAMADAGNI also famously known as PARASHURAMA was the author of RIGVEDA X.110.8
How RAMA JAMADAGNI become PARSHU RAMA and his connection with PARSU people, is another story to tell.
BHRIGU and his Clan BHARGAVAS / BHRIGUS and ATHARVANS were distinct from other Rishis in their dress style, they only wear WHITE cloths. That is why they are also called as SVETAMA (Vedic Sanskrit) or SPITAMA in (Avestan).
BHARGAVAS and ATHARVANS were associated themselves with Bhagwan VARUNA and revered him as their Tutelary Deity. In Many Hymns BHRIGU was mentioned as BHRIGUVARUNE.
MITRA ,VARUNA, INDRA, BHAGA, VAC, RUDRA, AGNI, VISHNU, USHAS, ARYAMAN, PARJANYA, SAVITR, TVASTR, APAM NAPAT, AREDEVI SURA ANAHITA (AARADHYA DEVI SHAKTI), MARUTS are the OLDEST PRE VEDIC Deities they are mentioned from the oldest layers of Rigveda, From Early Mandalas to Late Mandalas.
In the Early Books of Rigveda we can see that in some Hymns Deities MITRA, VARUNA, INDRA, VISHNU, RUDRA, ARYAMAN, AGNI, ASHWINS, USHA, APAM NAPAT, ANAHITA etc. were in some Hymns invoked as ASURA and in some Hymns invoked as DAEVA. This trend continued till Middle Books of Rigveda. But in Late Books there is hardly any reference of any Deity as ASURA.
Bhagwan VARUNA was the Oldest GOD of Sanatan Dharma. He was the earliest God who has all the attributes of Supreme deity.
Bhagwan VARUNA was Giver and Keeper of Cosmic Order RTA, One who Regulates, Control And Preserve the Laws of Universal Order, Laws of Natural Order, Laws of Social Order, The God of Night Sky, One who controls Rivers and Oceans, who is Guardian of all the Directions, who is cause and effect of All, God of Intellect and Consciousness and because of these attributes he was venerated as Chief of Asura's thus got another name i.e. ASURA MAHAT in Vedic Sanskrit or AHURA MAZDA in Avestan meaning the great Asura.
Prior to the Bhagwan INDRA, Bhagwan VARUNA was worship as the Supreme Deity of the Sanatan Dharma.
Bhagwan INDRA was the Chief of DAEVA’S, he is a Creator Preserver Sustainer and Protector God, A attributes which was in Later Smriti and Puranic Scriptures bestowed upon to Bhagwan Vishnu. Bhagwan VISHNU is the younger brother of Bhagwan INDRA.
Bhagwan INDRA is revered as Supreme deity, as the most important deity of Vedas, The Supreme Power, All Mighty and Powerful, one who directs Natural and Celestial Forces, Guardian of all the Directions, One Who grants Wishes, Accommodating and Easy to Please.
ASURA - are the class of Deities who Represents the INNER --> Reality, Nature, True Self, Embodiment, Personification, Expression, Essence, Manifestation, Intellect, Wisdom, Intelligence, Thoughts And Its Relation with the Outer World.
Amarakosa, the Sanskrit Thesaurus called Asuras as Purva Deva (Former God). So the ancient scholars knew that the connotation changed slowly.
Statistically- Asura is used in a positive sense 59 times in the Rig Veda & only 12 times in a negative sense- that too only in Late Book of Rigveda.
DAEVA - are class of Deities who Represents the OUTER --> Reality, Nature, Creation, Manifestation and Its Relation with our Nature and Existence.
In Ancient times People are Called ASURA and DAEVA according to their Tutelary Deity. In a Family one can be Asura or Deva depending upon his or her Chosen Tutelary Deity, Many Tribes, Clans, Families and Schools have their own Tutelary Deity according to which they were described as Asura and Deva.
In Vedas There were many King's and Rishi's in the same Lineage who are Asura or Deva depending upon their chosen Tutelary Deity.
After the Battle of Ten Kings, The ANGARASAS BHARADVAJAS became very powerful and as they try to assert their domination over the entire Vedic Geography and Society.
The old rivalry between ATHARVAN BHRIGUS and ANGARASAS BHRADVAJAS blown into major conflict.
This conflict between the two major Vedic group eventually resulted in the Fallout and Separation of Atharvan Bhrigus from Its Vedic Branch and their migration towards far west.
This conflict was not mentioned or recorded in the VEDAS but clearly recorded in the AVESTA further the absence of Atharvan Bhrigus from family books of Rigveda proves the case.
Zarathustra was the descendant of this separated Atharvanas Bhrigus Branch, and thus he wears white cloths. And because of this he was also known as Spitama Zarathustra and Atharvan Zarathustra.
Zarathustra a.k.a Zoroaster, Founded the worlds first Monotheistic sect (later became religion) an Offshoot of Vedic Philosophy known as Mazdayasna (VARUNA = ASURA MAHAT = AHURA MAZDA worship) or Zoroastrianism.
This further led to the Acrimony between Vedic Branch and its Offshoot Zoroastrianism. And this reflects in late Books of Rigveda and Post Vedic Texts and in Entire Avesta. The Demonization of DAEVA'S by Zoroastrians and Demonization of ASURA by Hindus.
The Cause of Conflict between these two major Vedic Groups:
    1. The rise of Indra the king of Daevas and the steep decline of Varuna the Asura and his eventual eclipse in the Vedic pantheon had lot to do with widening the rift between the Angaras and Bhrigu clans.
    2. The shabby treatment meted out to Varuna the Asura Mahat, the watering down the laws of Varuna the Rta offended the Bhrigu clan greatly. Bhrigus hailde themselves as sons of Varuna.
    3. Varuna in the early Rig Veda was a highly venerated god. He was hailed as the sole sovereign sky-god; the powerful Asura, the King of both men and gods, and of all that exists. He governed the laws of nature as also the ethical conduct of men. But with time, Varuna was steadily stripped of his powers one-by-one and relegated to a very minor rank. Further, one of the most fundamental aspects of Varuna the Rta, which signified the greatest good not merely ensured the physical order but also the moral order in the universe, was given a go by.
    4. The Bhrigus followed the doctrine of the ancestors (pitris) or the older gods (Asura). The Supreme Asura the Father -Varuna the Asura Mahat (the mighty Asura) was highly venerated by the Bhrigus. The Bhrigu cult which adopted monotheistic approach wholly favoured the worship of the invisible Asura the Father Varuna through the medium of the formless fire Agni that lights the path of the Fathers (the fire does not have much of a form-at least not a static one). They dis-favoured icon worship. The Bhrigus strived to abide by Rta the physical and moral laws of Varuna. And, insisted on sharp distinctions between the good and evil.
    5. Rivalry - That rivalry went far back into the Pre-Vedic Past. During the times of the Early Rig Veda the Angarasas were regarded the dominant priests, while the Bhrigus and Atharvanas who were synonymous with fire-priests were on the fringe.
With its roots in Vedic religion, the Zoroastrian insight into the unity of the Godhead as Ahura Mazda anticipates the later development of monotheistic currents within Hinduism.

Lord of the Rivers and Oceans Whereas GOD INDRA was of the King of DAEVA’S. Lord of Natural and Celestial Forces, The Supreme Power, All Mighty and Powerful, The Creator and Sustainer God, Who grants Wishes, Accommodating and easy to please.
Just as the VEDIC MITRA is virtually inseparable from VARUNA throughout the Vedas, MITHRA is closely linked with AHURA MAZDA in the AVESTA. This suggests that Ahura Mazda is then a compound divinity in which the favorable characteristics of MITRA negate the unfavorable qualities of VARUNA.

    I have one theory,
I heard in the battle of 10 Kings
Indra also helped Bharat King to Win the war,
    So when Parsua clan lost
They somehow thought that Indra was evil
    And if Indra is evil
Probably all of the devas are evil
And if devas are evil then may be Asuras are good, I repeat that's not what I think, It's just my assumption like what they might have thought about Devas after the battle of 10 Kings.
And probably that's we still have many things in common.

@@TruthAlwaysWinsBut which Indra are we talking about, there were many Indras, some were good some were impulsive, Indra is name of the post not name of a Deva, RigVedic Indra was good, he was a good ruler, kind King but when in later times those people who took the role of Indra became proud of themselves and became Impulsive and that's why we see different versions of Indra now next Indra is said to be Maharaj Bali whom Lord Vishnu himself gave boon to be Indra in the next Manvantar, Current Indra is Puranadar.
In the battle of 10 kings we are talking about Rigvedic Indra who Helped One King against whom 9 other Kings were standing, so here you can see that Indra helped the needy one, the one who needs the strength,
Parsua people rebelled against Sanatana Dharma just because Indra was not by their side and declared Indra as false god to destroy the name and Zoroastrinism was formed which later Influenced Judaism which later Influenced Christianity which later Influenced Islam all of them talk about False Gods, So you see how they spreaded the hatred for Sanatana Dharma but they couldn't completely take over Bharat because ultimately Bharat is the Spiritual land where their Mother Religion was born that's why they couldn't completely convert it to an Abrahamic Country even after countless Invasion,
You can spread lies but can not defeat the truth,
Same happened in Battle of 10 Kings where The King Supported by Indra Won and same thing is happening today, The Country Supported by Dharma is still Standing tall,
Asuric powers won't gain total control over this land.

I'm going through Book, Rig veda and Avesta by srikant talageri. Its actually very beautiful and funny at the same time. You can see the rivalry turned into mythology later in the wars between DEVAS and Asuras. And Zarathustra did record third battle in rig veda at the time of somaka(humayaka) in Avesta. And one of the allies of Zarathustras' people was Manuschitra son of Airyu. In Rig veda hes chitraratha son of Arna. Avesta doesnt know abt Divodasa and Suda battle. So u can imagine how old was Battle of ten kings at the time of Sudas. zarathustra was composer of oldest gathas in Avesta. and the language matches with late books of Rig veda and contemporary people in late books of rig veda are the ancestors or ppl who lived before Zarathustra. so from mitanni evidence and Rig vedic evidence Zarathustra wud be atleast as old as late books of rig veda

Even Heaven and Hell Concepts were there in Hinduism, eg Naraka/Swarga. Naraka was presided over by Lord Yama himself, who is worshiped by every Hindu. The monotheist mlecchas added the concept of "my" including the concept of "My God" and using these tautological constructions they appropriated everything as the "intention" of their "God"; what could not be appropriated was relegated to the domain of "Satan". Very little concrete tradition can be traced to them and it is usually a mock version/defamatory attack against Hinduism under closer scrutiny.

Actually zoroastrianism gave concepts of heaven, hell, judgement day etc. to Abrahamic religions. Don't forget zoroastrianism is older than Christianity. Zoroastrian mystics had even gone to Jerusalem to see Jesus when he was born. They knew about the birth of Jesus.

@@prakharprabhat585 "jesus" is a well known colonial fabrication which allowed for blood libel to be imparted to the Jews - so that they could be eternally damned. The same damnation was also extended to the Hindus in time.
The Magi story shows Easterners in subservience to the West. Similarly, all the various lands in the mideast were shown as being subservient to this fabricated Western "messiah" at various points in "history". These "prophecies" are all fabricated.
Hindus need to stop importing these Abrahamist corruptions into our genuine traditions. Abrahamist stuff is qualitatively very different than Hindu/heathen traditions. Genuine heathen traditions were colonized/appropriated by the Abrahamists and that is why there are superficial similarities seen. But there is no validity/authenticity to the product of this theft. A thief does not become the owner of something just because he fabricates a tale saying so. The Jews to this day do not recognize any claims of this supposed Jesus.

Persians were called "Parama Kambhoja" in Ancient Hindu Text like Mahabharata. They fought on side of Kauravas and were defeated, But we are told that Persian Men were known for their Tall Stature, Bravery and Well-Built Fearues. Their King names are given in Mahabharata. Even today, Iranians call their Kings by the title - "Kambuziya".

Interestingly, as a Persian I did several DNA analyses from reputable organizations, and the results indicated that the Persian people are very distinct genetically from the any Indian groups (including Pakistanis and Kashmiris). Every plot reflected that the Iranian people generally are most closely related to the Azerbaijani, Kurdish, Armenian, Ossetian, and other groups from the Caucasus. However, the Balochi people in the south of Iran seemed to be much more closely related to Indian or Southwest Asian groups.
Just generally speaking with respect to phenotypes as well, I have never been mistaken as Indian before. I have regularly been mistaken for Armenian, Lebanese, Iraqi, or Turkish many times, however.
Are you absolutely sure that the Persians descend from India? None of my research seems to indicate that this would be the case. Having said that, there are some distant linguistic similarities. I came from a Zoroastrian Persian family, so I would be very interested to know!

Sage Zarathustra was a disciple of Sage Sukracharya. Sukracharya got pissed off with Devas and Vishnu who supported them when he was not selected as Devas' Guru.
He opted himself to be the guru of Asuras who are against Devas.
He planned that Devas and their human supporters need to be taught a lesson. Being a shiv bhakt, he eulogised Shiva against Vishnu.
Lord Shiva also uses Sukracharya indirectly to speed up the destruction at the end of every chaturyugas and manvantara.
Sukracharya commissioned Zarathustra to be his representative for Asuras ,when the Non vedic people ( among Asuras and humans) were driven out of Sapta Sindhu area by Vaivasvata Manu.
Bharat Varsha was split . Area west of Sindh River was called Aryayana. East of Sindhu river was called Aryavarta.
Asuras ( both Danavas and Daitiyas) went and settled in Aryayana region.
Zarathustra was based at Balkh ( now in Afghan) , Persia which included Afghanistan then.
Zarathustra rewrote the Rig Veda in a mirrored way. Devas were depicted as evils /demons, Asuras as Good. Devendra was depicted as the main villain.
To belittle Devendra, Zarathustra made Mitr- Varuna, the sea God as the presiding deity for Asuras.
Instead of Sun god, moon god was celebrated. Agni was ignored as a deity.
Since Devas do rituals in day time praising Sun and Agni, Asuras were asked to do rituals in night time praising Varuna and Chandra.
He even wrote the mirrored Rig Veda from right to left to show a rebellish attitude to devas way of writing from left to right.
The followers were asked to shave their head and moustache but grow only beards.
Everything was done opposite of Devas practices.
Daitiyas settled in Persia, Sumeria, Northetn Africa ( Sahara was a fertile region then)
    Danavas settled in East Europe,
West Europe upto Atala Sagar ( Atlantic sea).
Danavas created a sea like lake in Aryayana and named it after their father Kashyapa as Kashyapa Sagar , now called Caspian Sea.
Danavas mother Denu / Danu is God of Rivers and Cows. Most of the european rivers have the root word of Denu / Danu .
Arctic Circle was Brahma Loka, North Siberia was Jana, Tapa Lokas, Central and South Siberia was DevaLoka / Svarga ( referred as Tartaria by the Greek and Sumerian scholars) Tibet was Upa Deva Loka ( housing Yakshas, Kinnaurs, Apsaras etc) upto Himalaya s
Druids, Hittians, Scythians, all were the descendants of migrants from Sapta Sindhu region.
You can find lots of sanskrit root words in ancient european languages , current Lithuanian language too.
South of Himalayas was Agni Loka or Manushya Loka. Here Agni puja and Havans can be done 24/7/365.
Bharata kanda was spread from Maha Meru in Himalayas upto KuMeru ( southern Meru) from Saraswati Sindhu rivers to eastern sea ( Pacific)
Kumeru is referred as Kumari Kandam in Tamil and the huge land mass is now lying submerged in Indian ocean.
It connected Southern peninsular india to Antarctica ( it was not at south pole then) spread from South East Africa to Australia.
Madagascar, Islands in indian ocean , South east asia , Australia etc are the higher ridges of the KuMeru land.
Ahura Mazda and Allah are actually Sage Sukracharya .
He advised a beduin nomad called Mohammad through Rakshasas what to do. Islam was born.
The Persian word Sukriya is referring to Sukracharya. Muslims consider Sukravar / Friday as the holi day due to his connection.
Sukracharya initially established manyvShiv Peeths across Aryayana. Later he brought all those Shiv Lings to a central place in Arabia called Makkeswaram , which is called Mecca now.
Since Persian tribes damaged the main Shiv ling in Makkeswaram, he installed Chandra murti as the main deity there.
Inside Kabba, the chandra murti is there. Also the broken shiv ling of Makkeswaram is kept intact using silver kavachs.
Muslims circumbulate that only in Mecca. Only difference is thst they do in anti clockwise direction opposed to the clockwise direction oused by devas .
    Zarathustra is Zoroaster.
Rebels among his disciples who wanted to continue with Agni worship were Farzis.

Indians and Persians were probably following the same religion once upon a time. Chapter Esther in the old testament of the Bible ( many years before Christianity was created) mentions that the old Persian capitol city of Susa had a large Hindu population and during a coup some were put to death, with their names being - Haman son of Hamedhatha, Marasimha, Vazhudhatta, Adhilya, Arasu, Harbachan and so on ! Of course these names still exist in India indicating the extent of the spread of Hindu population in that region. Thanks to the old Testament !!

Zoroastrians rebelled against their parent culture, and now it is said if they do not increase their numbers then, once their number falls below 24k people, they will be reduced to a “tribe” in terms of legal status (right now their legal status is “community” like all religions)
Right now, their population is 40k.

A few ancient historians said Persians and Medes were, in fact, Scythians. This can be backed up by the fact the later Alans, themselves descendants of Scythians, called themselves As, Os, and Aesir.. all of these being different ways of saying Asura. The Alans migrated West with Germanic tribes and are likely the reason why all Germanic tribes called their gods Ass, Os or Aesir. This can be seen in many place names (like the Osburg ship burial in which one of the ladies buried insides dna came back as Iranian) all over Scandinavia and England and even names like Oswald, Osborne, etc.

His message was to worship only one pious God (embodiment of Truth). It had nothing against Hinduism but in that time the abolishment of such cruel acts (strayed from the original sanatan way of life) was needed. We still strongly believe in karma and cycle of life. And being religious means nothing if you are not a good human being.

This idea that Zoroastrianism is monotheist/revelatory is a colonial Indological fantasy - it traces to the instance in the Bible where "Daniel" secures the obeisance of the Persian King to the monotheist "God". That is typical colonial monotheist history falsification (foreshadowing / predestination / "prophecy") and divide and rule tactics. Asura is, in fact, a name for Vedic Deities in the Veda - it is not used often but important nonetheless. Plus, there is no basis for stating that there was religious conflict between Zoroastrianism and Vedics. It was just fighting between kingdoms as we usually see. It's common to see alternate heroes taken up in Hinduism. There are, for example, temples to Duryodhana and Ravana. Even entire lexicons can be interchanged: Vaishnavas refer to Lord Vishnu as Supreme while Shaivas refer to Lord Shiva as Supreme. Each has their Sahasranama, many of which overlap. Lord Shiva is shown at the feet of Kali. All these "conflicts" are usually taken in the vein of Lila. Same applied to "Zoroastrianism". Hinduism is deep enough and varied enough and ancient enough that this is to be expected and entirely normal.
By default, we should always expect colonial mischief-making and projection in these situations

I think, this has more to do with Indra-Vritra conflict, Vritra's defeat and murder by Indra. Also, the gradual fading of ancient Vedic deity Varuna to backstage has something to do with rise of this new religion. Also , what happened to Raja Bali? Was he expelled after Vaman Dev divested him of all his possessions and where did he go? Also, it has something to do with Shukracharya (Ushna Kavi) who was Guru of Asuras. As far as Asur word is concerned, it means possessor of Asu (power). So Asur can also be used for Devatas and it has been used in RV.

Do you mean Purus ? I tried to research a little and there was no parshva king in the 10 king battle, though there were Purus who were actually exiled towards present day Iran.

was it an act of rebellion? Or is it that the Parshvas always worshipped Vishnu and the vedic tribes worshipped Indra? And by extension what it meant was that they continued the same worship. Zarathurstra's main innovation wasn't inversion of Hinduism (asuras vs Daivas) but that he made their faith essentially mono-theist by elevating Vishnu to the role of primary god.

Read the Parsian names of all Parsian kings like Xerexas and Darius and Cambyses. They're all Hindu Indian names.

Sanatan Dharma is THE scientifically evolved and a true religion for mankind.
Bharat is the cradle of human civilization and it's a fact that the different tribes were continuously at war with each other (it is in length written like Devasur sangram and various other wars) and the tribe that lost were kicked out of the mainland and they had to explore newer land/avenues to settle themselves.
This is how in prehistoric times the Indian tribes spread in most of the land and one finds Hindu culture and values in every continent.

  • @navdhindsa
    @navdhindsa 3 місяці тому +1

It's not entirely correct to call their religion "Hinduism" at that early point, unless you mean "any polytheistic priestly Indian religion." "Vedic Religion" eventually became part of Hinduism, but only through exposure to Dravidian elements and the philosophical revolutions of the 7th-4th Centuries BCE. And obviously there was no monolithic political entity called India at that time.
