I’ve watched the slime tutorial and WOW I loved it. I get it’s not for everyone. But it is for me

Hey, I watch you from Russia, I'm practicing my listening skills. Visit London one day is my huge dream. I'm very grateful to you for the opportunity to learn more about the theatrical world of this city. I've never been a big fan of the theater (except when I was a kid), but thanks to you, this topic has started to fascinate me insanely! Thank you for sharing a new cultural experience to people 💓 I hope once I'll visit one of the good plays or musicals in West End

I saw it in late July (not wearing pink, having not seen any previous version….and with fairly (very) low expectations) so I actually enjoyed it ! I didn’t suffer as much from “what could have been” but partly with hindsight star rating is correct. Following the review, reminded me of “Great British Bake Off Musical” (one of the Mean Girls stars can from that show)….2 “hosts” with about 8-10 main characters, each with their own song….however GBBOM was just better….had a better story, lots of fun ….and cheaper…..so much so drove from Manchester last minute to see final show. So overall 3 stars for Mean Girls is fair (and is also probably more if that style of show is what you’ve come to see)

When you say you haven’t seen previous versions, do you mean of the musical or of the movie? 😅 glad to hear you enjoyed it! I agree with you, it’s all about storytelling and for a musical like this, music and lyrics could’ve been stronger I think.

@@KristinaEmilyOfficial re. Previous versions I hadn’t seen any version or knew the storyline….. which is why next week, when seeing 4 musicals in 36 hours went back to watch your review of Hadestown….so now off to briefly check up on Greek myths !

I really like the music, especially I‘d rather be me and revenge party, but the tickets were so expensive and nearly booked out, when I was in London. They were 200 GBP, this is what I paid for Hamilton, Hadestown and Six all together. That is why I didn‘t watch it. ( it seems, they are way cheaper now)

There are definitely some good numbers like the ones you mentioned and a few more I talk about in the video but overall feel like it could’ve been stronger. I was also struggling to find an affordable ticket so was super pleased when I managed to get mine for £25 but that was pure luck with Rush ticket I got on the day of the performance.

I disagree that the songs weren’t strong I loved all the songs

The broadway version is far better feels more like a musical to the film version and they cut so much out for west end version to the broadway version
I recomend trying the broadway soundtrack

Two good songs and practically no laughs. Kinda hated it.

I totally resonate with what you are saying. I still can’t get my head around that they didn’t get the basics right. 🥲
