IMO Buddhism is one of the greatest tools to break through the delusions of the inner world (that and psychedelics, but I understand that’s not for everyone). While science is the greatest tool for understanding the external world. In a sense they’re both “experiment, experience and increase your understanding” philosophies.
we muslims also believe only 2 things 1 islam and 2 sceince And we follow Islam and Quran which teaches us to get peace and how to live and behave.
Sound absurd. Now even the Quantum Physics cannot give explanation about the Universe creation and Human existence. So 4 billion people have their basement to follow GOD. Buddhism CANNOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CREATION and even THEY DO NOT SHOW EVERYONE HOW TO EARN WEALTH IN MORAL AND RIGHTOUS WAY. If you research, you know our religion has wide aspects in life : from marriage, to Islamic finance - a very distinctive finance in the world, helping people earn money in sustainable and ethic way. Buddhism only sleep everyone to become a monk inside pagoda and eating money without doing labor. I tell you wake up, Science is only created by humans. But WHO CREATE HUMAN AND GIVE THE UNIVERSE THE RULE ? Look the sun, and planets in Solar System, even scientists cannot say how exactly and precisely they move around their orbits. OK ? Shabir is Wrong. Buddhism was a major religion in India from time of Buddha(4th century BC) to 7th AD. Most ancient statues in India are of Buddha, most ancient tombs, temples are Buddhists. All three school of Buddhism, Theravada(4thr century BC), Mahayana(2nd century Ad) and Vajrayana(7th century AD), all originated in India, and spread to other countries. If India didn’t have Buddhist followers, how come all Buddhism Schools Originated in India only??? Truth is that Buddhism started lost its Followers Around 7th century but it was still a big religion in india, only next to Hinduism, because Hinduism re-emerges during 7th century Adi-shakara.m and Buddhism declined but Even after that Buddhism was still a big religion in indian-subcontinent, it was totally wiped by Islamic invaders. Islam is responsible for total eradication of Buddhism. Google destruction of Nalanda.
The Buddha attributed suffering to 'avijja' which has been translated as 'ignorance' but can also be seen as the opposite of wisdom. 'Avijja' leads to 'tanha', which is 'attachment' and manifests as mental defilements such as anger, greed and delusion...

@@brisingr12 Hello Brother, I have interest in Quantum Physics, and read a lot of the Theory including books of Micho Kaku - the famous quantum physicist . Many famous physicist accept the existence of The Almighty GOD. Michio Kaku and Albert Eistein accepted that they are devoting their lives to solve GOD EQUATION but they are unable. All they discovered are THEORY.
Do you know the Quantum Physics Scientist recently discovered the particle Boson-Higgs ,or they call it "God Particle", because it took humans 50 years and billions of dollars to discover it. This accomplishment was very crucially meaningful ,because they can step forward a little to solve mystery of universe. Remember that Humans only could solve around 1% about the Universe and all theory was only theory and not any the truth which was concluded: Theory of relativity, Theory of String, Theory of BigBang, Theory of dark matter, Theory of Black Hole and Worm Hole, Theory of solar system forming, ...etc.
So, in the end, I submitted in front of Allah and I am very happy to find the answer in Holy Quran- a GOD revelation to Human Beings over 1400 years ago. All the universe creation ,the years of universe, scientific knowledge,..all in Quran.

One important note is that the for noble truths were not taught as hard fixed statements, laws or creeds to be followed blindly. Rather they were taught like pointers or aids in building our understanding. Each truth is not merely a statement or concept to be played around with intellectually. Instead they are actual realities to be experienced and investigated right here and now.
The Holy Quran says in Ch 16: V 36, “ To every nation has been sent a prophet.” The thing is, that followers of these prophets very often began worshipping these prophets in place of the One True God thus moving away from monotheism. Some peoples need a visible form of worship more than others, and these prophets were humans who lived an earthly life and preached a message. “And we have sent no messenger save with the tongue of his people: that he might make all clear to them.” Quran: Ch14: V 4.

One thing that was not mentioned is that Buddhist dent the existence of Allah or even a higher power, which deems any common things irrelevant. The center worldview in Islam is Allah, and the main purpose we are here is to worship Him alone, nothing except Him can benefit or harm us except when He ordains that.
first off its not desire. that's a misunderstanding. lots of people translate the 4 noble truths as desire for something. its not desire its craving for things that the buddha was talking about. i advise all muslims read the 4 nikayas and you will gain a better understanding of what buddha taught and how he taught. it is this very craving that puts us into suffering. craving for material desires and non material desires.

in Buddhism its ok to have desires but without attachment, attachment cause suffering so a enlightened being do things with desire for the well being of others but importantly without any attachment to the result , people usually do things by expecting a positive result out of it, thus we have a attachment for the result, hence in the case of of a negative result we get hart broke and suffer
Nirvana in Buddhism is indeed very much like a God in theistic religions; this is a thing many people are missing, including many Buddhists themselves, especially Westerners; Buddhism is not against Supreme Transcendence aka "God" - but Buddhism says - it is very different from all worldly things, different from 5 Skandhas-groups and Nāma-Rūpa (name-and-materiality-etc.); Buddhism just names the Highest in a different Names - and even - in several terms - some say Nirvana or Buddha Nature or Voidness (nor existing-nor-non-existing) or Tathagata Garbha or Dharmakaya (Universal Body of Truth-ness), etc...
its not like god don't use this word because himself rejected the concept of god (Ishwar) ..... there r so many references available in Tripitaka the buddha rejected the existence of god
@@mahendrab8810 No, Buddha neither rejected, neither approved; but - God, Ishwara - means Perfection, you should observe discipline to become One with Ishvara / God - the same thing you become one with Nirvana / Buddh Nature; God = Perfection; Buddha / Nirvana = Perfection; you merge with Perfection; the only thing - Buddha "is above" Gods - the same way every religion says - Our God is above your God, etc...
@@mahendrab8810 buddha never denied God. He was silent about it for the Hindu priests.
@@naimhasan7416 The issues of equating everything to Brahman is what Buddha attempted to explains anyway, his concept of Nirvana and Dharmadhatu (manifesting as Trikaya upon the Tralokya of Samsara) are implying Buddha have belief in God, just not of the personalised and descriptive "Ishvaran" notion of God which is fundamental of HInduism and the vedas while more of the Empty (Kenosis) qualities of God, much of the actual Negative Theology
Hence the concept of God in Buddhism is Transcendent and Immanent, much closer to God of Islam than god(s) nor the Brahman pantheism of Hinduism, as there are distinction between Samsaric nature and Nirvanic nature despite Nirvana and Samsara are two-side of the same coin with both influencing each other (but Samsara still embodies wandering, suffering and duality)
@Red Zamabala where did you found the word ishwara in buddhism can you refer the texts.
I should appriciate for sharing the truth information about Buddhism.💛
Actually Buddhism is not a religion, it's a philosophy. A very scientific philosophy which shows the way to attain Nibbana/Nirwana.
It's quite right that you described about the 4 nobel truths. But I hope to add more to make that more clearer because the philosophy is sky high.
Here, Buddha mentions life is a suffering. And he showed the path to end this suffering by ending the rebirth cycle. In Buddhism we believe in rebirth. So if we dead in one life, we will rebirth in another life. It can be as a human, animal or a god, etc.
Every creature loves to live, no one love to die. People wants to live longer. But someday at some point we all gonna die and rebirth in another life.
So Buddha said, if we can remove our desire to everything, if we can remove the desire to birth, we can get away and end this rebirth cycle. And for that we need to follow the 4 nobel truths and to attain those 4 nobel truths we need to follow the eight fold path. There are thousands of other teachings in Buddhism to end this suffering.
As an human I respect each and every religion out there. We don't need to find what's the best religion. We need to get the core from each and every religion and move forward as one family.
May the triple gem bless you. Thank you.❤️

How about asking a Buddhist when trying to find out about Buddhism. This man’s knowledge is very cursory, please forgive me for saying so. 1) Dukkha does not merely mean “suffering”. 2) you do not “eliminate” anything. You SEE THROUGH earthly desires, and they fade by themselves, because they are false. 3) One does not “escape” anything - life is not an “entrapment”. Your delusions ABOUT what life IS are your entrapment. This very Abrahamic view - always materialistic, always non-mystical - always prevents the Abrahamic faiths from comprehending the more ancient Asian religions. It is deeply sad to see how you cannot (will not?) budge beyond this materialistic comprehension of Being.

Buddhism is not a religion. It is a vision...
This is religious harmony! Actually all major religions are very important for each individual, just like one medicine cannot cure all illnesses, that why we need different medicines for different illnesses, similarly we need different religions and individual will choose which one is suitable for them! No one can take that religious freedom! One must have rights to practice individual choices of religion!

Pls understand that Buddhism is not a religion its a path for the nirwana(not being birth again) anyone can go in this path if u like its is buddhism. The buddha is the lord or the greatest born human in the world.
There is a very good case for the Buddha being the greatest human that ever lived. Not just the greatest Indian.
Buddhism is not religious it is philosophy of life ànd humanity 💌💗
For everyone who is complaining about the imam "promoting" Buddhism. Anyone can tell the Deen is the complete law but knowledge is not something to frown on brothers and sisters. "[17:36] You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them."
Knowing about Buddhism allows people to grasp Allah SWT's reach. The Buddha live almost 500 years before Jesus. History changes all the time.Great libraries destroyed and substantial knowledge is lost. Orally persevered stories and tradition have been twisted and turned by shaytan. My point is, brothers and sisters, Islam is the truth, everyother religion was corrupted in ravages of time. But as people of Salam. It's important to also understand how shaytan twists "his-story" I believe learning about other religions will help us ultimately learning more about Islam and the deen. Allah loves everybody, the right thing to do is not to proclaim our deen is better than any belief system, but we need to study the Quran and the world around us as the early muslimeen did(May Allah SWT bless them) and be able to respect and love everyone as human beings.
And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad(P)); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story, and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah. So, when comes the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will then be lost.(40:78)
May Allah bless us all with Knowledge and understanding. Bless Prophet SAW for dedicating his life to
Buddhism is the greatest religion in the world. only Buddha can save you no false prophets. look they created hell on the earth in each Muslim country. your God is false.accept Buddhism or burn in hell.
Sudhir Barahate Buddha cannot save you nor he has the power to do so. He will only guide us to the right path and it is up to us to chose to walk the path or not. so ultimately only the will of humanity will save the earth not god nor prophet.

The absence of a sole creator in the philosophy of Buddhism vis-a-vis Islam’s diametrically opposite concept is the key factor which is the serious division between both of them.
Buddha born in 🇳🇵 , this is fact but some times people get confused by false advertisement. Buddha wasn't born in India, he got enlightenment at bodgaya in india. And Buddha don't ask anyone to follow him and trust him, he always says if you don't believe me then test it wherever you want then only agree or disagree with him, and he born at full moon of Baikash, got enlightenment and choose to die at full moon of Baikash. If you listen, and follow buddhism then i hope you get peace in mind and deep sense of pleasure, when he went to realistic society and he found so much pain to human so he decided to leave the palace and go in search of a lot of answer then he finally got enlightenment then many people aggre to him and follow him along the way. He born in hindu family so all Hinduism love buddhism and we all celebrate his birthdate and in Hinduism there are a lot of god, we love all the god and follow our own way to love god.
as a buddhist. I love muslims. Any one from any religion is OK with me.

Desire never brings suffering but craving of desire will definitely bring suffering
yep. that's attachment. desire lead to suffering by causing attachment.
Trying to do good but bipolar mania makes it very difficult at times
Buddhism doesn't say that desires themselves are the cause of suffering, but our attachment to those desires. The desires in themselves are not the problem, it's when we let those desires rule us instead of the other way around.
Buddhism also isn't atheistic either, that's a western misconception. Eastern religions do not see God as being separate from His creation, but one with creation. Thus Buddhism does not mention God directly because God is already there, with enlightenment being the full unification with everything (God).
fasting does not stop your evil desires it causes your body to not have enough energy to do anything
you are not doing it correctly, after time the physical benefits are so much and it also provides you so much energy. It definetly a way to have God conciousness, you are more aware.. its a total transformation spirtuality, you need to understand it in more depth, then just your carnal desires.
@@hassanfoza1071 buddha tried and he said torturing your body is also a sin.
Buddhism is oldest realigion. After invasion of puspitrashungha king Hinduism spread in India pak afganistan Bangladesh and iran after some converted to Islam Sikh and Hindu
Nice very basic idea of 4 noble truth. The primary Cause of suffering is not desire. It is ignorance. From ignorance to arises desire ( grasping or clinging), hatred, anger, jealousy, ego etc. secondly. Eight fold paths, are categorised into wisdom (3) morality/ethics (3) and meditation (2) total 8. He said Faith in place of wisdom. Buddhism always place faith at the last, when you understand and appreciate something to be appealing and making sense based on logic , reasoning, analysis, questioning and contemplation, then only faith in whatever you now selected to be true. Therefore, faith is last requirement in Buddhism.
Can you be Muslim and Buddhist. I know on the Buddhist side it's fine but on the Muslim side is it okay?
I love Buddhism
Bhidhism is infinitely deep , it take lot of time to understand thoroughly though I respect all religion which teach us peace harmony and compassion
The Religion Behind the Quran
Islam is the second-largest world religion. It has its greatest
concentration of believers in the Middle East and North Africa, where
more than 93 percent of the 340 million-plus population is Muslim. The
largest numbers of Muslims, however, are outside the Middle East, with
more than a billion in South and Southeast Asia, where they make up
about 25 percent of the population. Indonesia has the world’s largest
Muslim population, with more than 200 million adherents. Saudi Arabia,
home of the religion, has just 25 million.
Muhammad, whom Muslims consider to be the final prophet of God, reported his first revelation in 610ad-a
revelation he said came from the archangel Gabriel-and he continued to
report revelations over the last two decades of his life. These
revelations were codified after his death into the document now known as
the Quran.
The two main branches of Islam today are the Sunni and the Shi’a, who
trace their different lineages to a succession dispute among Muhammad’s
first followers. Shi’ite Muslims look to Muhammad’s son-in-law and
cousin Ali as the religion’s first rightful caliph (religious head of
state), while Sunni Muslims accept the authority of the first three
rulers who led the community after Muhammad’s death: Abu Bakr, Umar and
Uthman. The two branches also differ in their jurisprudence, relying on
different hadith (“sayings” of Muhammad and his companions) compiled in the tenth century ad to establish precedent in religious disputes.
Although Muslims acknowledge many distinguishing names for God, based
on different divine attributes, the primary name they use is Allah-a
word known to Arabs in pre-Islamic times, as we see from the name of
Muhammad’s father, Abd-Allah, meaning “servant of God.” The Quran
consists of 114 chapters, or Surah, each supposedly revealed by Allah
through an angel, but only written toward the end of Muhammad’s lifetime
and shortly afterward (the last text was supposedly written during the
caliphate of Umar).
Several hundred years before Muhammad, the 22 Hebrew books of the Old
Testament (split into 39 in Christian editions) and the 27
Greek-language books of the New Testament had been codified-canonized-as
the Christian Bible. Muhammad, traveling across the Middle East with
his uncle, a trader, would inevitably have been exposed to many
individuals professing belief in the Bible, with its clear message of
one sovereign God a stark contrast to the many gods worshiped by the
various Arabian tribes.
Whether Shi’a, Sunni or other, all Muslims revere Allah as God,
Muhammad as Allah’s messenger and the Quran as Allah’s perfect message.
In fact, despite a number of passages written in an old Arabic
practically unintelligible to modern speakers, Muslim scholars consider
the Quran perfect and incorruptible-indeed, most Muslims consider it
pre-existent and uncreated, as eternal as Allah.
How does the Quran call for the spread of Islam? It allows Muslims to
convert or kill unbelievers (Surah 9:5; 47:4). Today, Muslims hold
differing opinions about the Quran’s 41 references to jihad-an Arabic word that can be rendered into English as “struggle” or “battle.” Some interpret jihad
as primarily an internal and spiritual process, while others take it as
a command to wage literal physical war against nonbelievers. In the
first decades of Islam, Muslims indeed waged war widely in the name of
their faith. Consider the Zoroastrian community of Persia, which had
flourished for more than a thousand years before Muhammad. Beginning
around 635ad, Muslim
armies increasingly encroached on Persia, and within a generation or two
most Zoroastrians had either converted to Islam or had fled to India. A
similar pattern would occur elsewhere across the Middle East and North
Africa, until the reach of Islam eventually extended as far north as the
gates of Vienna and as far west as Spain.
Interestingly, it is namely “the people of the Book”-Jews and
Christians who do not accept the Quran-who are to be subjugated and if
necessary killed. Muslims are instructed to “fight those of the People
of the Book who do not [truly] believe in God [Allah] and the Last Day…
until they pay the tax and agree to submit...” (Surah 9:29-30). This is
in stark contrast to the Bible’s command to Christians, who are
forbidden from violence or even hatred (Matthew 5:39-44). Christians are to love their enemies (Luke 6:35) and display the fruits of the Spirit in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23). Christians understand that Jesus’ kingdom is not yet of this world (John 18:36), are to proclaim the Good News of Christ’s return (Mark 16:15, Matthew 24:14), and are to await His return when He will reign as King of kings (Revelation 19:11-16).
The Inspired Scripture Debate
The Bible teaches that God spoke His inspired Scripture through divinely chosen men moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:19-21)-that it is theopneustos, or “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16), true (John 17:17) and the basis for all doctrine (Matthew 4:4). The inspired canon of Scripture concludes with the sobering warning that the Bible is not to be added to or taken from (Revelation 22:18-19). It is not to be contradicted by some “further revelation” that would revise or supersede its commands.
How do Muslims deal with this? Some Muslims contend that the Bible was originally
trustworthy, but that it had become corrupted at some point. This is
simply a false and easily disprovable claim. Many Bible manuscripts date
back to hundreds of years before Muhammad’s time. Furthermore,
these manuscripts were well known in Muhammad’s day, and many of those
same manuscripts remain to modern times. For example, the beautifully
preserved Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus (both ca. 340-350ad), the Chester Beatty Papyri (ca. 250ad),
smaller fragments such as the John Ryland Fragment (ca. 117-138), the
Bodmer Papyri, and hundreds of other copies of the New Testament which
date from before the time of Muhammad survive today and attest to the inerrancy of Scripture.
These many documents, in addition to the Dead Sea Scrolls, testify to
the preservation and codification of Scripture well before Muhammad’s
day. They also present Muslims with a dilemma. If the claimed corruption
occurred before the time of Muhammad, then why does the Quran
refer to the Bible as the word of God and insist it is to be followed
(Surah 2:40-42, 75, 3:3, 71, 93, 98-99; 5:68; 6:91; 10:37, 94; 21:7;
29:45; 35:31; 46:11)? Why does the Quran instruct that Christians were
to find the truth in the New Testament of Muhammad’s day (Surah 10:94)?
Additionally, if the New Testament is the word of God (as proclaimed in
Surah 5:46, 67, 71), and if Jesus was a prophet of God (as Surah 4:171
and elsewhere assert), then Jesus’ words in the Bible should be
believed and obeyed. The Quran itself points to the legitimacy of the
Bible that God gave to Israel (Surah 2:40-42)! Furthermore, the Quran
teaches that the word of God cannot be changed, and that it must be
believed and obeyed (Surah 2:136; 4:136; 6:34; 10:34; 29:46).
The Bible asserts that it-and no other text-is God’s word, recorded and codified by “holy men” (2 Peter 1:21) under inspiration of the Holy Spirit. And, as has been noted, the Bible has been faithfully preserved through the centuries. Two of hundreds of examples of the preservation of the Bible are the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus.
These beautiful and complete Bibles are available to view in museums
today. These are two of the oldest surviving complete Bibles, assembled
ca. 340ad, more than three centuries before the Quran. Their texts, translated, read nearly identically to any modern NKJV or KJV Bible that may be purchased today. Consider that the Codex Sinaiticus,
written before the time of Muhammad and surviving on parchment for more
than 1,670 years, contains the same text from the book of Revelation,
noted above, which can be translated as plainly as what you will find in
your NKJV today: “I testify to everyone that hears the words
of the prophecy of this book: If any one add to these things, God will
add to him the plagues that are written in this book, and if anyone take
away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away
his part from the tree of life, and from the holy city, which things are
written in this book” (22:18-19).
Where modern accretions have crept into later translations of the
Bible, these are well known, such as the famous “Johannine comma” in 1 John 5:7,
used to falsely present God as a “Trinity.” Yes, God has preserved the
ancient texts that let us know the truth of His inspired word. The Bible
has not been corrupted; rather, its original text has been preserved accurately through
the centuries. Christians have faith in the veracity of these words and
have faith in the hope of the resurrection and in the “tree of life and
the holy city.” The Bible, the word of God, contains these words of
life (cf. John 6:63). These words are true, trustworthy, final, perfect and infallible. No other Scripture is needed, nor has been given.
