I was headed to the Dr when y'all did the premiere, but it was hard to fully pay attention.
Investors are so frustrating to me. It makes it so much harder for people to get a deal. But I digress.
The minute JD was helping give unload directions, then seeing the children playing the cooking the family...ugh the water works started. 🥹 seriously, I am so happy for you three. I can't express my genuine happiness enough.
I have a couple of questions. I will have to post them later on in the next couple of days. ✌️
Is it close enough to the airport for Samantha to visit and build her van?

Will you have a dedicated music entertainment space?
I would love to see that you build out a little AirBnB on the property so that y’all have extra income ♥️♥️. Not just that, but you’ll be building cool relationships as well!

I know you are a bit anxious, but I am thrilled for you guys. Now you are free to travel when you can, but nothing is better than having a "home base". In addition to actually meeting the owner, cause that is what sealed the deal. He liked you, and he believed in you, and that is why he accepted your lower-priced offer. You know it is a seller's market and he could have gotten more. It’s another reason this was meant to be -
One of the homes we bought , was by sealed bid, but it’s was like divine intervention bc on the day I was in labor we found out we won, and the owners moving had a baby boy and wanted to pass their new nursery and home to a family that loved it- the home was a parsonage to the church youth pastors and so much love had been there- I feel we were so blessed to have that as our starting place-‘we kept in touch w the previous owners- and I hope the same for this journey too- the way he had a daughter and all, I think he saw hope and dreams and wanted to pass that down too- there’s something to be said about feeling right about the transaction when it’s such a huge part of your life ! I am so happy , and thankful to be a part of the journey

Wow! You were pushed out of the old shop after so many years, you didn’t get angry or get sour, your attitude is GREAT🎉. And then God gave you this property. The coolest thing about it is that you’re both builders and you will save a ton of money by your own physical labor and creativity. Excited for you and Ember ❤

That's the first thing I said when I saw the road right out front. Definitely good fencing all around for baby Ember and the cats. So awesome that they got a house! Still looks like they are in Oregon. :0)

So excited for you guys.. I'm glad you have a home base now.. On the road is a great adventure but having somewhere to come home to is a good thing. Not to mention as place to keep your things without having to drag everything you own with you or get rid of things you want to keep, only bc it takes up too much room in the bus. This house will be a game changer for your family.. Still a buslifer but also with having a back yard for baebae girl. :)) The two of you make the best couple.. I'm so happy for you guys!!

Congratulations! Isaac, that shop space is perfect for you. You could do anything with it. I can see you making furniture, or even customized cabinets for DIYers building out their own rigs. That could still allow you time to plan and travel when you all wanted to.
That’s the idea have the shop to do whatever we wanted to do!

It sure does bring back a lot of memories. 32 years ago I moved to Texas from California. Self-employed. Not knowing anybody and wanting to live away from a town 20 miles in either direction find out in the middle of nowhere. And I remember what the real estate guy told me. You'll never make it out here Building engines and restoring cars you need to move closer to town. Well I'm glad I didn't take his advice. I've been here thirty-two years and haven't found a real job yet. Raised 7 kids. Country living is the best. Still do what I do and enjoying life

Chocka Block it was!! 😅 So many 'can does' with your new base. # Maybe, remove all 'older ' buildings that maybe you don't have uses for and use the space to allow paid nomads to stay a day or two, with maybe one building for ammenities, a tiny home cabin?... So many 'maybes' to consider, if you already haven't. You have some work ahead of you, either way, but I'm sure with all that you have both succeeded in, that will never scare you away. Congrats! Jaylena you have come so far since I started following your journey years ago. I told you a long time ago, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, you can find happiness. Look at you guys go! So proud! Almost like one of my own children, the pride! It won't always be easy but trust in your heart and God, he will show you the way to make it work. We have struggled in our 30 yrs, but we had each other, all the love you could want and our family. The rest fell into place with a little sweat equity. It's not always fun, it's not always easy but it is worth it in the Long run. So proud! Might jerk a tear.....of JOY! 😂

Mortgage = equity, tax deduction. Equity like putting money in the bank. Shop and home = income, roots. I think you made the right decision for your family.
