Got my instrument rating on a DA40 back in 2008. The bird cost just about $200k back then. Way cool to see how it does in the NG version, even though it’s sadly way out of my budget
stupid question - just started flying. winter (below freezing) + no de-incing on the plane + flying close to clouds. What pre-cautions should one take for that?
I just love these videos. Please keep them coming !
Thank you Michael!
I could watch these all day
What a trip! Great job with the videos so far!
Such a fun trip!
Excellent editing and music choices. Excited for part 3 🙂
Glad you enjoyed!
Great video. Really like the pictures of the PFD. How about some proformance numbers while flying. Speed and gph, altitude ect.
Great idea! Will look into throwing those in for Part 3

The older DA40s are great planes! Technology has definitely come a long way.

My rule was to never fly more than two hours + my safe bladder capacity per leg. In the 152 I trained in, that was barely out of town, but still...
Always great to have personal minimums. Thanks for sharing!

Why did you choose port Huron for your entry point in the states ? Is the customs process easier there ?
It was on our way out West. Sometimes we'll choose Buffalo if we are delivering to East USA.
These videos are great. Please consider me interested and available should you be looking for contact pilots or contract CFI's. 🙃
