Hola me llamo Simón. Yo soy in estudiante de Señora Miller a Highland Highschool.
Hola, Sr. Jordan!
Sr. Jordan, many thanks for your stellar instruction. I couldn't speak a lick of Spanish a week ago, but now I am making comparisons! Superlative teaching! Superlatives? Oh, they are next!
I find your videos to be extremely helpful. I have tried Rosetta Stone and Duolingo, however, I have learnt and retained far more from watching your videos that I have learnt from those two programs combined. Thank you for such a super job in making learning Spanish fun.

Buenos dias.
I have never commented on a youtube video in my life. I've been teaching Spanish for many years and often use your videos to the delight of my students. I am disappointed that I can't show this to my students, since it relies on stereotypes, sexism, and classism (the one with more money is happier?!). I hope you'll consider redoing this.
I like your way of explaining ). I am a beginner learner of Spanish language and for me you are so amazing that I learn effectively ^___^ I am so happy to learn by you. please keep posting your videos !.
Hi Senor Jordan, I very much appreciate the time you've put into your lessons and have been learning a lot of Spanish, but can I just throw in one piece of criticism? I'd like to ask you to please be considerate in your portrayal of women. A lot of teenagers are apparently watching these classes, and as you probably know they are a very impressionable bunch and will soak up much of what is coming their way, consciously and unconsciously. When they only see one-dimensional depictions of women all around them, boys are more likely to treat girls as nothing more than one-dimensional beings and girls are more likely to believe that that is all they are. In other words, it's detrimental to society at large when we stereotype gender (in the same way that it is detrimental when we depict ethnicities, religions, and races one-dimensionally). In this video, for instance, all the girls were merely described by how they looked (and often whether they were prettier or uglier than...). The boys, on the other hand, besides being described by their looks, also got adjectives like "serious," "intelligent," and "funny." In real life, as I hope you may have noticed looking around you, there are plenty of "serious," "intelligent," and "funny" women, and it actually makes them feel good when they are not qualified by how they look, but rather by what they have achieved.
I completely understand what you are saying, araxism. For these first two videos with the gator drawings, I did my best with drawing on the computer, but I am not incredibly artistic and am quite limited! I also noticed what you pointed out when I made these two videos and as a result put additional characters in the next lesson, such as Inés, who is smart and athletic.
Señor Jordan Thank you, Señor Jordan! I haven't had a chance to watch the next video yet, but I will soon. Anyway, I'm glad you noticed it yourself and added another character. I like your drawings, though. :)
Thank you for all the hard work and all the efforts you put in your videos. They've been very helpful. You deserve a lot more views, in that I am sure. Thank you again :))
Sorry, but "than" is not a preposition. In English, the sentence should be "They are more intelligent than WE," not "us," because the verb "are" is implied.
I suggest redoing this video so that you spend less time explaining the form "menos...que", which is way less frequent than "mas...", and also, you could explain the grammar pattern at the beginning.
In Spanish, you can compare weights without any bad connotation implied. It is Spanish not English. You can also call people black without been racist.

Mis notas / + / bueno / la clase
Thank you
What am I comparing to?
Más buenas -> mejores
Something is off
Agreed. Something must be missing from the instructions.
@@SeñorJordan Gracias, pensé que estaba enloqueciendo 😄
If we’re saying the best…
“mejor/mejores” = better/best
gracias!!!
buena explicacion
Greatly appteciated
Why was the "Quien es más serio? With Mateo, Santiago and Juanito not plural but the "Quien es más bajos?" was plural?
Gracias muchisimas!!!Por favor, sigue hacer los videos!=) Son mui utiles

If you watch the next lesson after this, Ines is depicted as an athletic and intelligent. female.
Thanks for pointing that out, Aaron Tupaz!

What is the meaning of don? And why do we use it?
It goes before a guy's first name and is like "Mr." It's a way of showing respect to someone older while using their first name.
Thank YOU for watching. :-)
Jaja, es posible.
su/sus means there. yo creo...
great !!!
thx! it's very interesting! I didn't know about SU/sus , but I'll learn :)

Than we are, you mean.. I guess.
where is the word bank?
Nicholas Salansky It's in the description under the video.
Hi
Doesn't que mean "what"?
MoMo Ducky "qué" (most commonly seen in questions) means "what"... "que" means "that" or in this case with más/menos, it means "than".
hey, do yo know the "vos" form?
Thanks Senor Jordan. My teacher is not as good as you.
never mind
Its interesting how the video talks about the physical appearance of the females but talks about personality, grades, sports etc. for the males.
bueno
Quit being so hard on Beatriz omg
This was really helpful tho
I suggest redoing this video so that you spend less time explaining the form "menos...que", which is way less frequent than "mas...", and also, you could explain the grammar pattern at the beginning.
A L I G A T O R S
How do I find the word bank?
As they have got Spanish names they must be caiman not alligators.
why does the basketball player have to be failing? hmmmmm come on you can do better than that.
poor beatriz
I’m here from my teacher who told everyone to watch this video
My Spanish teacher made us watch this. So our class are getting this to 100 dislikes. YAY!!!
