Solving the homeless problem involves a change in mindset and behavior of those in charge of making the correction. People want progress but they don't accept change easily.
We will never reduce street homelessness without reducing the amount of fentanyl and P2P based meth on our streets. Nowadays, street unsheltered homeless are fentanyl addicts. After only one dosage of P2P based meth, human experiences paranoia and/or schizophrenia. Synthetic street drugs destroy humans mentally and physically beyond the point of repair very quickly. They will destroy any housing we put them in. They are like semi zombies, and not mentally capable to live in organized manners.
47% of the homeless are seriously mentally ill. When Ronald Reagan closed all the big Psychiatric hospitals in the 1980’s is when I believe the homeless problem began. Sarasota FL has begun housing homeless people in a new apartment building built I think by a company called Castle (not positive on their full name). They have rules for the apartments and counselors I believe help the people receive the services they are entitled to. I think they are now expanding this idea into Naples,FL.

Change is the only constant
Homelessness ain't getting solved.
I don’t believe that there is less homelessness than precovid times.
Leaving homeless people to live on the streets is not compassionate. They need to be taken to facilities to be reintegrated into society.
