I feel sorry for you and your tiny, shriveled mind. If you never had or never regain your faith, then walk on the side of evil, which is the real origin of this crime. Because evil always delights in those who believe in it. I can imagine your disappointment in life and the anger you must be feeling. We all are. I was thinking about this, if the murderer put a pillow over the victim's face, it could be difficult to hear them - maybe music was on? the other 2 housemate said they heard "something" but didn't look into it and locked their doors? I was strangled in my home by a stranger who broke in to and was hiding in my apartment years ago - the TV was on - I was trying to scream Help Me and was kicking the floor and my downstairs neighbors did not ...hear...or notice..or maybe thought I had a boyfriend over??? I was lucky another neighbor coming home from the bars, passed my door and called the police. I obviously survived - but when you are being attacked it's difficult to scream as loud as you might think you can..

This was a targeted and relatively well planned attack…
I will agree with speculation that the killer is unlikely a student, but is someone around the victims age range; early to mid 20s. It’s an individual everyone in that house had either met or at the very least seen before in passing..
Mass stabbings such as this are uncommon for many reasons. They definitely walked away from the scene covered in evidence, certainly with some sort of visible injuries. Which may indicate they're single, don’t have particularly close ties with anyone in the community and/or has a job which doesn’t require a lot of direct interaction with others. There’s a possibility they are not originally from this town, but they've been a resident there long enough to be familiar with the area. Maybe even a delivery driver of some kind? (Or any job that requires driving to throughout the day..)
The most telling evidence, the multiple stab wounds and defensive wounds found on the victims. Showing a lack of mercy, built up rage, and resentment towards the victims. I’d say the biggest emotion the killer is feeling right now is an adrenaline based high fueled by a false sense of superiority over law enforcement and mocking the community. But that’ll turn into fear/paranoia imminently, if it hasn’t set in already. If the killer has not physically returned to the crime already, they’re glued to all updates as they come in.
This is a young, delusional individual..The more days go by without them feeling acknowledged increases the likelihood of them doing something rash to make themselves known.
Important questions to ask right now: “Who do we trust even though we don’t know them?”, “Who passes through unnoticed wherever they go?”

Just a thought ... Hear me out.
I'd look into who Kaylee was dating on her break from her ex bf ... i believe she was the one targeted ... NOT a planned target tho.
Say the group gets home at 1:45 am, they are eating and bs'ing, and it's a party house right ? Well people will randomly stop by at night. Kaylee is back in town and the person she was dating hears that she is back in town and shows up.
If she dated this person a few times, and the group KNOWS HIM, and is familiar with him, they just let him come in like plenty of times before.
He could even be talking with her as all the others go to bed. Alot of people you can become at ease with in a year of college partying and dating, w/o really knowing them.
She tells him she's getting back with ex bf, he rage snaps, he kills her, now he has to kill Maddie, Ethan and Xana because they already know he was there in the house.
He's already in the house so no forced entry, the dog knows him so thats not a problem, i assume they were all drinking so probably all crashed pretty fast ... the two sleeping down stairs never actually see him so he just splits out the sliding doors without having to deal with them. Even with the possibility of noises, there has been people over partying before so the 2 survivors couldve just figured people came over ...
i bet they probably know him too.
Also, It's hunting season in alot of States, lots of hunting knives out there
    Just a theory.

Miss Stella, this reminds me of the student murders that happened at UF, Gainesville, FLorida, years ago.
Danny Rollins also was a stalker, and killed with a knife. I, too, had a stalker some years later, when I moved back to an a town very close to the University. Fortunately, for me, most of the deputies I called were serious and very helpful. It took nearly a year, but they caught him. At first-ever I did not take this seriously, but eventually, as it continued, I becamenvery frightened. My little dog would wake me every time, and I would call the Sheriff. They did catch him, but it took awhile. I was lucky, I know that. I moved to another city anyway. Now I live in a totally different state. Also, In response to another post on here, both men (Danny Rollins and the man who stalked me)--I was 50, not a young women! So bizarre, but they were both Caucasian men. The man who stalked me, was from a rich family in New England--it was said that his family sent him money to keep him away. Danny Rollins, the Gainesvile murderer, was, I think, from the South. At any rate, NEITHER, was from Mexico, or Venezuela!
They did not cross the border, as they were both born and bred in the USA! I was shocked by such an attitude I read in these comments. I do suggest though: Women--or Men, if you believe you are being stalked or followed, please do not hesitate. Contact the police. Sure, a very few were rude, (I was 50!) but because of what Danny Rollins had done, they mostly took me very seriously. I also had a little dog who alerted me EVERY time he was in my yard (I had fences, gates! He climbed over them. Very athletic). A dog is good for a single woman. My little Maggie was my protector until she died at 19. Don't forget: a stalker--and a murderous one, may be home grown. Mine was. Glad I contacted the authorities, happy I had a dog. I might not be typing this.

It’s because they suck & are incompetent and botched this case. They will never find the killer. Feel so bad for the families!!! Then they say to the public stay in pairs, be vigilant and careful/ everything those kids did and were still murdered right in the middle of that town with no fear at all from an incompetent police force. A bunch of incompetent bums!

Have ur own press conference or town meetings and use "go fund me" monies to pay for gps processing and other forensics. . The more people, the more ideas. The Law said themselves how overworked and tired they are. No one is more consumed, driven or committed than y'all.Passion will always trump a paycheck . I realize ur prob being told to hang back and let them do their job. Doesnt mean u cant do ur own investigating. We r taught to be respectful of authority and listen but the reality is they r just people getting a paycheck.
Had similar situation and a friend told me what im telling you and when i took control back from strangers (law) i realized they put pants on just like me. Best of luck to these officers because they really do not seem confident at this stage. It has been said that the killer will have injuries to his/her hands. But with all the tactical gear available on line nowadays, I mean a pair of tough leather gloves and a heavy duty knife with those handle bar type features (to prevent users hand from slipping onto the blade) and his/hands may be free from injury. No sexual assault took place. But WHY murder 4 specifically whilst leaving 2 others unharmed?? The killer made the decision to spare those 2 lives.. the monster is known to the house mates!! And no doubt is walking amongst the investigators and the media alike! I do hope they probe the owners and staff of the steak house where 1 of the victims worked,.. perhaps the killer does not have an infatuation with knives as opposed to just having the access to them!! A truly disturbed individual who will be feeling excited due to the lack of any real progress being made! These officers need more intelligence bringing in.

That doesn't sound normal or plausible, unless this person was a highly trained assassin of some type or really knew who these people were in the house! This case makes absolutely no sense and the fact that The weapon of choice is a knife, are the families sure that this wasn't a targeted killing because of one of the family members like the parents of the children? IDK something just really weird for all these kids to be taken out with one knife!
