With all the anti police BS and the “online victims advocates” constantly talking about how awful the police are doing and how they aren’t telling the families anything.. it’s for a good reason. I mean you can’t just release vital info to make people no matter how close they are feel better bc those same people will get bombarded by media and (as we have already have seen) will GO TO the media and screw up the case for the prosecution.. people are going to want all the wrong things done and fuss about cops not doing it the way they want it done but I salute the police as a whole for their work in this instance.

Chief Fry has been such a gentleman throughout this grueling investigation. It's obvious that he's an empathic, caring man. I was pretty sure he must have a supportive wife. He was accused of taking too long to solve this crime, and kept his cool. Gotta hand it to him. He and the police force did a great job. I've always supported him and the other Moscow police. Some day, there will be a movie or documentary made about a "small town" police force that did a "big town" job. It's actually the subject of a lot of crime dramas, and this one really fits the genre.

This man deserves so much praise. Even with all the people saying horrible things about their department he held strong and didn’t give any details simply because the public demanded it. If the suspect knew anything about what they were doing he could have set the car on fire and gotten rid of any evidence inside the car. No different than the Delphi case keeping the fact they found a bullet in between the girls that was traced back to the suspect. If Richard Allen knew they had the bullet he could have easily said his firearm was stolen.

People were literally acting as if this was the first murder case, unfortunately this happens a lot the only difference is the others don’t get the same publicity. I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to understand that they simply can’t share all the information during the investigation. I am happy to hear that the officers, investigators, their families and even the chief have the opportunity to receive mental help from dealing with this case. I cannot imagine what they have had to go through and see at that crime scene. I know we all wanted quick answers, but they made a great call bringing the FBI in as well as leading such a complex investigation as a small-town police department. I continue to pray for the friends and family of the victims (including the 2 surviving girls) the police/FBI and anyone who has had to see this horrible scene and work the case, and most of all Xana, Ethan, Kaylee and Maddie. Space and time are great, assuming they’re really doing their jobs. These guys happened to be doing well, but for example, the cops in the Jonbenet Ramsey case were inexperienced, flubbed it, and continue to prevent the solving of that case. They have dna from the intruder that could be tested against genealogy databases, but refuse to release it for comparison. They don’t always know what they’re doing, and they don’t always “keep things close to the vest” for the best of reasons. The police need reasonable time and space because crimes certainly don’t get solved in an instant like a tv show, but there are times some pressure is appropriate. A man who genuinely cares, is also professional, has integrity & honor, and is dedicated to justice. It is more than a job... it's a calling. He and some others I can think of are the epitome of what law enforcement should be across the board. And it always starts at the top. Want to clean up law enforcement agencies? Put men like this in charge and let them run it as they see fit without tying their hands. Also pass a law making it illegal for police unions to force them to re-hire bad cops over and over again (a big problem in every state with a police union), thereby making it impossible for good leaders to get rid of bad or unfit cops and clean up their departments. Just by doing these two things, we'd see massive changes across the board in law enforcement and public sentiment. Over time they'd begin to win back the public's trust, respect and support once again.

I’m beyond happy that James Fry has a GREAT reason to smile! ❤Thank you sir and I NEVER doubted you! I defended you all this WHOLE time and ALWAYS will! You’re amazing, your team, and others! I’m truly sorry people have been so cruel to you that your voice breaks in pain! God bless you sir! Even when you say, “I need everyone from the news to the public to STOP 🛑 putting everything out there.” It’s sad how in this interview he’s STILL begging for PATIENCE! So why the f**k is it that hard for EVERYONE to respect a man TRYING to repeatedly keep as much close to them so the KILLER(S) TO BE CHARGED, HELD, AND WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT CONVICTED, NO WIN ON APPEAL, AND NO RIGHTS BROKEN! If this was anyone’s child you would DEMAND the public to respect this man and these agencies to NOT give the killer a GET OUT OF FREE PASS! I PRAY no one ruined that! I PRAY no one ruined it even with some of those families doing their Tell alls that they BEGGED THEM to stop doing until FINALLY even they had to keep some of the families in the dark more! That’s sad! START RESPECTING THEM! You’re citizens NOT involved on this case! You’re nothing to them but the NOSEY PUBLIC INVADING THEM ALL IN TRYING TO CATCH KILLERS AND HOLD THEM FOR LIFE/DEA**! Shameful! Thank you again sir for doing your best with the EVILS of this world coming at you all! Saddens me what happened to you all! 🙏

I tend to turn a critical eye to law enforcement most times (Greater power/authority means you're held to a higher standard imo) but This department and this investigation is exactly what we should always see across the board. There is no galvanizing the audience to convince us of the suspect's guilt there is no grandstanding or machismo. This chief is outstanding. Even if there's more evidence to come to light that shows maybe there's another suspect or anything like that this guy has been an excellent leader.

You're full of bootlicking. The kudos should go to the gas station clerk who took the time and common sense brains to do the police's work. And the rest of the kudos go to the public with their tips. And the case is nowhere near over. Burl Ives, the police chief, is preparing himself for a book deal.
